Ilaumoh: becos she doesn’t lack all the lies you listed You are so foolish to understand a country let alone a state and the games politicians play to keep being in power. You a little foolish person and you are no match to my philosophy, so deal with that. Inorder words, you just like a parochial Nigerian that is moved by mere beautification of certain places in a state where mostly the elite and maybe few middle class can afford to be. I guess these little things waoooh u. |

We need to start seeing pictures of massive newly built industries, raw materials exported outside the shores of Nigeria and thousands of youths working in such industries on a daily basis. We need to start seeing youth sent outside the country after graduation to acquire new skills. If I see these things then I will shut my mouth and rejoice for the better Nigeria I pray is fast approaching. |

Well, of what use is it to advertise the beauty of a state that lacks industry, youth empowerment, sustainable health facilities for the betterment of the masses, then such state should go into oblivion. All these politicians are after showcasing how they beautify a state that have been ravished by extreme poverty. Show us the country side and words will suddenly become superfluous. |

Education › Re: Is Teaching Job Now A Modern Day Slavery?? Honestly I'm So Angry Right Now by Majesty33(m): 10:20pm On Jun 29, 2022 |
Nazgul: If you don't have any job you're currently doing I'll advice you to take the offer. With time you can approach parents to request for private lessons for the kids, that one pays more.
Most private schools are going through hell in this economy, and most parents can't even afford the ever increasing fees, and remember that they pay per term, whereras salary is per month. This means that whatever fees they collect from the students would be used to run the school for the next 3-4 months.
Now the problem here is that most students owe the school and refuse to pay, this would make the management look to alternatives means or even loans to pay you guys and run the school activities with hopes that when their student pays up within the month they can settle everything.... unfortunately in most cases this doesn't happen.
I have a relative that runs a primary school, who usually narrates her ordeal to me. There was a day she brought out her records and showed me debts of students over the years, I kid you not, those debts were running into millions. I really felt sorry for her. Old don't cajole him to take this offer cos u end up impoverishing him. Teaching job drains mentally and physically. Mark my word, these schools make hell of money compared to the debt they face. I guess u are a either a school owner or a principal. Private school owners are just too wicked. |

Mark my words, we were colonized by these people and they are the foundation in which we built our government, legal system and constitution. They didnt just wake to make law against modern slavery and organ harvesting. Ofcourse they know that people might be pressured to part away with vital organs of their body for monetary gains, they also know that if they allow such in the society then human race becomes an endangered species , hence the law. Ekweremadu and his cohorts thinks its all about power and influence back here in NIgeria, hmmm, he and his wife wife will face thorough scrutiny. |
Politics › Re: Reps To ‘Apply Diplomatic Pressure’ To Ensure Ekweremadus Get Justice In UK by Majesty33(m): 9:22am On Jun 29, 2022 |
Badgers14: They are just trying to save one of their own
But frankly, Ekweremadu's case is a diplomatic headache for UK, not only diplomatic headache, if the case isn't handled correctly it could taint the image of UK and could cause an uncomfortable anti social in UK as well.
Some People would view this case from the lens of "Rich against poor" indeed Ekweremmadu occupies a top position that could have made the life of David better.
There's no normal, have a job 21 year old that would be willing to part with their kidney for someone not related to them. But Because of inability of the govt which Ekweremmadu occupied a very important position to provide infrastructures and amenities to help the poor to get a toe hold on the social ladder, David "allegedly " was willing to sell his kidney to survive. So some people will look at the case from this lens, Rich using the poor at will.. poor man die, Rich man lives.. Rich keeps getting richer and living longer at the expense of poor masses and Ekweremmadu happens to be a high ranking politician as well.
Also on the social impact on this case, depending on how it was handled the outcome.. many people with similar criminal case will be running to the court to overturn their convictions or reduce sentence or acquit them .. this is a criminal lawyers bread and butter but this does damage a country's legal system.
On the diplomatic side, UK doesn't want to be a safe haven for anyone to feel comfortable to commit a crime in no matter their diplomatic status , they don't want to be safe haven for anyone to come in to finalize any criminal intent or criminal action or activities so they are threading very carefully..
Also, regardless of the outcome of the case, UK might not have any option than to offer asylum to the David guy understanding how powerful Ekweremmadu is in Nigeria politics and how even his own state government of Ebonyi state are leaning on support for Ekweremmadu.. they might not have a choice to offer him an asylum and if his family receives threats, they might offer them asylum as well.
Since Ekweremmadu is a politician many people don't even want to hear the details of the case, they want him to stay in jail for life Well said, UK are not demonic like our politicians here. I pray they grant that young man assylum. |
