IamAsiri:I am replying your post based off the civility and maturity, you seem like someone who knows you can agree to disagree. If you have been reading his different posts and comments, he gloats at Muslims being killed, he does it without empathy like a narcissist or a psychopath, if you don't believe go and read his posts and also comments he has made on others comments. He can be pro-Israel that's not a crime. But act with empathy, self awareness and not be out to bait people with racist, bigoted and prejudiced comments. That's where humane and sensible people draw the line. I am stating my points without calling you a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer. This guy is off the rails, with the names calling, he also never posts anything nice about Nigeria. He is always posting instigating posts, if it was saner climes the security agencies would open a file on him. Freedom of speech doesnt mean you can hide online and be an instigator.I wont be surprised he is an Isreali citizen. nflpmod Nsa nuhu ribadu |
Cho cho cho "The boy that meets his mothers relatives and joins them in abusing his father is not a wise child." Fela Kuti. Nigerians supported you, when you dropped your first Album ! Not a single American knew you or supported you then. Now you are famous, and you are bad-mouthing Nigeria. Shame on you!!!!

Davido, a global icon and one of Nigeria’s most celebrated artists, holds significant sway over millions worldwide. His dual identity—born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Nigeria—affords him a unique perspective. However, with influence comes responsibility, especially for someone awarded the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) for his contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry. His recent comments, where he expressed discouragement about African Americans relocating to Nigeria, underscore a need for caution and diplomacy. The Importance of Constructive Criticism No one disputes the challenges Nigeria faces—economic instability, infrastructural deficits, and political strife, to name a few. These are realities that Nigerians live daily. But as a public figure, especially one benefiting immensely from Nigerian support, Davido has a responsibility to critique constructively. Comparing the slums of Nigeria to the struggles of the United States could have been an opportunity to highlight resilience, entrepreneurship, or the emerging entertainment industry’s vibrancy. Rather than casting a shadow on the motherland, Davido could have adopted a balanced tone: • Acknowledge challenges honestly without exaggeration. • Highlight the opportunities for growth and investment. • Emphasize the sense of community and culture that defines Nigeria. Davido’s Platform: A Double-Edged Sword Davido’s platform has elevated Nigerian music globally. His fan base in Nigeria forms the foundation of his success, and it is their unwavering support that propelled him into international stardom. To discourage African Americans from engaging with Nigeria, a country that has embraced him as one of its leading ambassadors, risks alienating his core supporters. While the United States grapples with homelessness, racial inequality, and mass incarceration, American artists like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, or Chris Brown rarely, if ever, disparage their homeland on international platforms. Their approach is one of advocacy, highlighting issues without denigrating their roots. Immaturity and Consequences Davido’s comments might seem candid, but they come across as tone-deaf given his stature and role. To suggest that African Americans avoid Nigeria entirely could: • Harm tourism and cultural exchange efforts. • Damage the perception of Nigeria globally. • Alienate his Nigerian fans, whose loyalty underpins his career. It is not alarmist to state that if Nigerians boycotted his music, his career trajectory could shift dramatically. The entertainment industry thrives on goodwill, and losing the support of one’s home base can be career-ending. The Need for an Apology As someone conferred with a national honor, Davido must hold himself to a higher standard. A public apology would go a long way in mending fences. It’s not about suppressing valid criticism; it’s about expressing it in a way that uplifts rather than tears down. His handlers and media team must ensure that his statements align with his role as a cultural ambassador. A Call for Advocacy, Not Dismissal Davido has the power to advocate for change. He can: • Highlight areas where African Americans or other diasporans could contribute to Nigeria’s development. • Use his platform to call for better governance and investment. • Show the vibrant aspects of Nigeria alongside its challenges. Rather than discouraging engagement with Nigeria, Davido should foster dialogue and inspire hope. Advocacy, not dismissal, is the hallmark of a mature and impactful leader. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCmIQ7oxFiw/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=79a1648d-9bec-467a-9223-940f8b8ab6bd

CrownedPhoenix: Entirely your opinion, I am not one to be bullied into agreeing with anyone. I am not afraid to stand alone. Israel is committing genocide against Muslims and Christians. You can leave the perpetrators of the crime and call me names, i don't care. |
Botragelad:Nlfpmod |
Lamasta:Look at his previous posts and comments, he is the biggest bigot on Nairaland. A lot of people have been reporting him. I think he is paying nairaland money. Now we will report him to the security agencies. Nlfpmod Nsa Nuhu Ribadu |
Laple0541:We must keep reporting him. He doesn't talk about how Isreal is killing people in Palestine,Lebanon and Iraq with reckless abandon daily. nlfpmod NSA Nuhu Ribadu |
Lamasta:Post the news fairly.Post the actions of both sides. This particular Poster never posts what Israel does. He is always trying to paint Muslims as the aggressors, Nigeria is a country with a significant Muslim population. Do you see the logic now ? He is hell bent on giving Muslims a bad name. Meanwhile isreal is killing people in Palestine,Lebanon and Iran, without caution everyday !!

xeju: If you decide t start the story in the afternoon, disregarding all that happened in the morning. How can you be fair ? Do you care to say all that has happened or you were born in 2005 ? |
smokinloud:You are obviously a genocide sympathizer. Go and drink Isreal's water in Palestine as well.I wont waste my time with you. |
smokinloud:Exactly !! They need to arrest him to try him, dont forget the ICC has gathered evidence based on the palestinians presenting their case and the ICC has enough evidence to arrest him and put him on trial. So they are doing the right thing. If he is sure he hasnt committed genocide, he should present himself to ICC and clear his name. |
smokinloud: You probably don't have sufficient education. Its a shame to come online and openly show your naivete. Go and read up on ICC arrests. Over 10 people have been arrested for genocide in the past. |

When you want to confuse the citizens hid it in big grammar .....lol “The purpose of the bill is to make the National Social Register the primary targeting tool for the implementation of social investment programmes of Government. This will ensure our social welfare programmes are data-driven and implementation processes are transparent, targeted, dynamic, and effective in delivering social protection benefits to vulnerable Nigerians." Explain in details how you hope to achieve this ? 1-What programmes are considered social investment programmes ? 2-What are social welfare programmes ? Sharing rice ? 3-What data parameters are being used and how are these considered transparent ? These are words put together to sound smart. How these is implemented in a country like ours is the real deal. |
