Just like you (Omokri) always have Buhari in your mind like a lovestruck low down man. Will this fake pastor's obsession with Buhari ever be over? |
Godjone:Are you Bill Gate's daughter or son? |
Tripitaka: |
Fake pastor wan start another civil war. |
Now that he's no more nko, you could find another one. |
Half of the things he said to Buhari wasn't given to him and he has started complaining. |
Trump2020:Where is this 'your Fulani' from? |
MayorofLagos:Your task is akin to the Christian saying that: "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God". |
Biodun556:There's always a conflict between herders and farmers, whether Fulani or not. As for Kano rejecting RUGA scheme, I highly doubt it. |
MayorofLagos:You'll be burdened with the near impossible task of separating the 'pure' Fulani from the 'pure' Hausa. |
ideynl1:And what if your 'thought' is coloured by what Francis Bacon called "The Idols of the Tribe.' |
MayorofLagos:Which Hausa did you see complaining to you about, say for e.g., the rulership of the Fulani when in most cases they're not considered as outsiders, and many speak only Hausa? Which Hausaman have you seen complaining about the Emir of Kano or any other Fulani monarch? And, would the Hausaman fight the Emirs when in many cases you find those you complained about have Hausa great-grandparents running into generations. |
Ain't no beef between Hausa and Fulani. So much intermingled and intermarried that they've considered themselves as one. The Fulani has no distrust of the Hausa nor does the Hausa distrust the Fulani. It's as if you guys' new brief is to create a chasm between the Hausa and the Fulani. This phantom phantasmagoria like the meaningless and the shifty Fulani herdsmen as 'terrorists' is DOA. |
I don't know where you live, but I've observed the rise in local production and consumption, especially, in the primary sector of the economy. In my area, local farmers are smiling to the banks and rice, for example, is not costlier than the foreign variety. You may also not have noticed the preference to local variety as compared to the foreign one, the people having realized it's more nutritious. More to this is the springing up of rice mills in areas that lack these, boosting employment and industrialization. These songs you're singing would appear calamitous to the local farmers, because if they it were left to them, they'd prefer the borders remain closed ad infinitum. |
US President Donald Trump should take his complaint about being overlooked for the Nobel Peace Prize to the award committee as the criteria are not set by Abiy Ahmed or Africa. |
The Nobel Peace Prize 2019 was awarded to Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed Ali "for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation, and in particular for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighbouring Eritrea." But for the US president Donald Trump, this was a mistake. At a recent campaign rally on the 9th January, 2020, Trump thought that he, and not the Ethiopian Prime Minister should have won the Nobel Peace Prize because no one has, in that period, contributed to world peace more than he did. Wrong choice of heading. You made it sound like the man is against Buhari. |
BAGHDAD — Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi has told Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to send a delegation to Iraq tasked with formulating the mechanism for the withdrawal of U.S troops from Iraq, according to a statement released Friday. The statement, from the office of the Iraqi caretaker prime minister, said the request came in a telephone call between Abdul-Mahdi and Pompeo on Thursday night. It says Pompeo called the Iraqi premier. Abdul-Mahdi's comments to Pompeo suggests he was standing by his previous statements that U.S troops should leave Iraq despite recent signals toward de-escalation between Tehran and Washington following the tit-for-tat attacks that brought Iraq to the brink of a proxy war. Tensions eased on Wednesday when President Donald Trump signaled that Washington was stepping away from escalation. The Iraqi prime minister said his country rejects all violations against its sovereignty, including the barrage of ballistic missiles that Iranian forces fired targeting against U.S. troops in Iraq and also America's violation of Iraq's airspace in the airstrike that killed a top Iranian general last week. The Iraqi leader asked Pompeo to "send delegates to Iraq to prepare a mechanism to carry out the parliament's resolution regarding the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq," the statement said. "The prime minister said American forces had entered Iraq and drones are flying in its airspace without permission from Iraqi authorities and this was a violation of the bilateral agreements," the statement added. Top American military officials including Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper have said there were no plans for the U.S. to withdraw from Iraq. Iraqi lawmakers passed a non-binding resolution to oust U.S. troops following a strike that killed top Iranian general Qasem Soleimani and senior Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis last Friday. The latest escalation was set off when a rocket attack blamed on the Iranian-backed militia group Kataeb Hezbollah, or Hezbollah Brigades, caused the death of an American contractor at a base in Kirkuk province. The U.S. replied with a barrage of strikes on the militia's bases, killing at least 25 people. https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2020/01/10/iraqi-pm-tells-mike-pompeo-decide-how-withdraw-troops/4429350002/ |
Best speech by the hawkish Trump so far. It is measured, conciliatory and brotherly. A win for both the US, Iran and the larger world. Reason has prevailed. |
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump is addressing the nation from the Grand Foyer at White House just hours after Iran rained more than a dozen rockets down on airbases in Iraq housing U.S. troops. Iranians said the attack was in response to a U.S. drone strike last week that killed Qasem Soleimani, one of Tehran’s most powerful leaders. Updates: 11:42 a.m. EST The president spoke directly to Iranian leaders, insisting the U.S. wants them to have a "great future, one that you deserve – one of prosperity at home and harmony with the nations of the world. The United States is ready to embrace peace with all who seek it," he added. 11:38 a.m. EST Trump urges NATO to take larger role The president said he plans to ask NATO allies to "become much more involved in the Middle East process." He touted the U.S. economy, American energy independence and a stronger military under his leadership, adding they are accomplishments "nobody thought were possible." 11:37 a.m. EST Iran nuclear deal Trump called on the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Russia and China to break off from the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal. 11:35 a.m. EST Trump to impose fresh sanctions on Iran Trump said his administration will impose new sanctions on Iran in response to the attack. He did not specify how those sanctions would be applied. "These powerful sanctions will remain until Iran changes it’s behavior," Trump said. 11:33 a.m. EST 'Those days are over' "For far too long, all the way back to 1979 to be exact, nations have tolerated Iran's destructive and destabilizing behavior in the Middle East and beyond," Trump said. "Those days are over," he added. He said Iran had been the leading sponsor of terrorism and their "pursuit of nuclear weapon threatens the civilized world." 11:31 a.m. EST Trump said the U.S. suffered no casualties in Iran’s attacks on military bases in Iraq. “All of our soldiers are safe,” he said. https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2020/01/08/donald-trump-address-nation-iran-attacks/2842056001/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XhSDghaemU |
The Department of Defense has confirmed : “At approximately 5:30 p.m. (EST) on January 7, Iran launched more than a dozen ballistic missiles against U.S. military and coalition forces in Iraq. It is clear that these missiles were launched from Iran and targeted at least two Iraqi military bases hosting U.S. military and coalition personnel at Al-Assad and Irbil.” The assistant to the secretary of defense for public affairs Jonathan Hoffman said that the US is “working on initial battle damage assessments” In recent days and in response to Iranian threats and actions, the Department of Defense has taken all appropriate measures to safeguard our personnel and partners. These bases have been on high alert due to indications that the Iranian regime planned to attack our forces and interests in the region. As we evaluate the situation and our response, we will take all necessary measures to protect and defend U.S. personnel, partners, and allies in the region. Iran’s Tasnim news agency has just reported a second wave of rocket attacks has commenced against the Al Asad air base in Iraq, according to The Guardian’s Michael Safi. So Mr. Grumpy, are you now the weak, ineffective and opportunistic president seeking for an easier way to get reelected? |
Racoon:Taking the sophistication of our internal security problems, have you ever mulled any idea of foreign sponsorships? |
So this whole thing (putting lives of millions of people in danger) is to shore up political capital. |
(CNN) — In media appearances prior to the 2012 election, Donald Trump repeatedly predicted that then-President Barack Obama would start a war with Iran in order to win reelection. A CNN KFile review found Trump made the claims throughout 2011 and 2012 in radio and television appearances as well as in a since-deleted YouTube blog and on Twitter. Now president and facing his own reelection battle later this year, Trump ordered a drone strike on Thursday that killed Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, in a major escalation between Iran and the US. Trump celebrated the news on Thursday night by tweeting a picture of an American flag, adding on Friday, "Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!" On Friday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Fox & Friends the US does not "seek war with Iran" but that the US would not "stand by and watch the Iranians escalate and continue to put American lives at risk without responding in a way that disrupts, defends, deters and creates an opportunity to deescalate the situation." Trump has consistently criticized Obama's Iran policy -- the chief accomplishment of which was an internationally negotiated deal reached in 2015 that lifted sanctions in exchange for Iran ratcheting down its nuclear weapons program. The Trump administration reimposed all sanctions in 2018. But before that deal, Trump routinely asserted that Obama would force a confrontation to boost his domestic prospects. "Our President will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate," Trump said in a November 2011 video on his YouTube channel. "He's weak, and he's ineffective," Trump added. "So I believe that he will attack Iran sometime prior to the election, because he thinks that's the only way he can get elected." Speaking on the Sean Hannity radio program in January 2012, Trump predicted "some kind of a war" with Iran prior to that year's election. "I say that he'll start a war in Iran before the election, which will make it very hard for the Republican to win," Trump said. "He'll start a war, you know, lives will be wasted for no reason." "I think it's going to happen sometime prior to the election. There'll be some kind of a war started," added Trump. On Fox News' On the Record in February 2012 Trump said it was "pretty sad" to say, but said Obama would go to war nonetheless. "I've said before, I think Obama will go to war with Iran because I think he views it as good politically," Trump said. "That's pretty sad and it's a pretty sad thing to have to say, but I think he will absolutely go to war with Iran. I think he views that as a positive from a political standpoint, and I think he's just waiting for the right moment." Speaking on the Laura Ingraham Show in April 2012, Trump repeated his prediction. "I happen to think that the president is going to start a war with Iran," said Trump. "I think it'll be a short term popular thing to do. And I think he's going to do that for political reasons." Trump made the same prediction on Fox News' Justice with Judge Jeanine that month. "In my opinion, Obama will start a war," Trump said. "For about three weeks it'd be very popular about, by the way, six months later he'll be very unpopular, but by that time it's too late." "Well, I think that he would do it," Trump continued. "I do believe he will do it -- whether he does it under the guise of Israel or not -- but I do believe he would do it. I've been making that prediction. Let's see what happens. Many of my predictions, as you know better than anybody have come true." https://edition.cnn.com/2020/01/03/politics/kfile-trump-obama-2012-iran-war-reelection/index.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSrC7-ERrE4 |
Fool, who listens to you. The money you stole you went to Benin Republic to establish a university. Tell me how Chukwudi, Ayo or Ibrahim benefits from this. |
Ewedegubbler:The Universe. If you think it's only the battalions you have that win wars, you better read about the Pancho Villa Expedition (where a single outlaw punished a mightier US force, taking it on a wild goose chase and had to retreat) and the Vietnam War (where locals and local technology overwhelmed a mightier and ineffective US force) |
