University of Regina
U of R is a nice school. When applying, be in constant communication with your departmental dean to put u through via email. It's very important.

Did mine in October, I hope that’s ‘recent’ enough.

I contacted them over the phone and booked an appointment. The appointment was set 3/4 days after I called in.

I went in by 8am( which was late). I was done by 1pm. The process is pretty straight forward. There will be someone to tell you what to do every step of the way.

I’d advice you to be there before 8am so as to get yours done as quickly as possible.

I need your advice!

I have submitted my application but because school resumes first week of January, I felt I should go and do Medicals even though it has not been requested. Can the panelist submit on my behalf without an official request? My eligibility review just started. Pls Is that a good decision? Is there any consequence to that? Thanks.

I just called one of the numbers on the
Abuja clinics for appointment but the lady said, they
Currently can't access that of Canadian embassy until they rectify it and she has no idea when that would be possible.

Is there no other approved hospital for that in Abuja?

Thank you brother for your best wishes. Sorry to hear that you haven't received your correspondence letter/Introduction letter. Kindly send a CSE to lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca and you will have your letter updated via your MyCIC within 24hrs. Once again Congratulations on your achievement. We all hope to testify here someday.

Happy birthday bro.
Sorry to bother you but I'm about to create and submit my app for the past few days but can't really get around the registration or sign up button just as described on the first page of the thread.

Secondly, do I need to compress all the documents in one single file? I mean both SOP, sponsorship letter, affidavit, SOA, birthday cert and all documents I scanned.

Thanks.

Please urgent advise is need. A friend of mine who is an Eckist or member of Eckankar has confided in that his family has concluded plans to disown him because of his membership of the religious group.

They accused him of using occultic powers to hoodwink members of his family. His younger brother said he bumped into his diary where he wrote the family members' names and also different bizarre names beside each for reasons no one could explain.

He has been mandated to denounce his membership or get expelled from the family.

Why do I think, it's you and not your friend anything? Lol.

Be mindful of where you seek solace. Just an advice. A lot of things Mess with our psych.

sad As a born again Christian, I'm ashamed people still attend this man's church or seek marital counselling in his church despite his failed marriage. The bible says in the book of Psalms that a man shall leave his parents and stick to any amount of women he desires. Yet this man heads a church and he couldn't resolve his marital crisis to the extent that his Ex wife doesn't deem it fit to attend their daughters marriage yet this unforgiving pretenders sold millions of copies of Rhapsody of realities to millions of gullible Christians. Even if he was a chronic womanizer as alleged by the bitter wife, they couldn't shield their swords for their daughter's sake I'm sometimes ashamed to be a Christian. Hate them or not Muslims are better than we Christians cos they practice what they preach sad

First and foremost, the rhapsody is free
Secondly, you don't judge ppl by just one aspect of him.
Obviously, u don't know the full story. Does his marry stop u from worshipping God?

Braze9:
Some times I ask myself this question, why do Nigerians want to remain backward? Have they not suffered enough? Have they not been humiliated enough?
Why do they want backward, incoherent, unintelligent, wimpish, technophobic, reactive, blind and clumsy old men to continue to continue to govern them.
Take a look at France President, Emmanuel Macron. That is the kind president Nigeria needs now. A young proactive, smart, intelligent, healthy, courageous president.

If we must progress as a nation, we must put tribalism and religion aside and vote for intelligent people who can use creative intelligence to solve the problem of Nigeria. There is no holy man in Nigeria. Almost everyone is corrupt to certain extent. It will be almost impossible to stop corruption at this level of national development. So let no one come to claim he is a saint. Let no one come to tell you he is fighting corruption. Corruption is part of us, so let no one waste our time telling us he is fighting corruption. Corruption can only leave Nigeria with strict laws and technology.

While we continue to fight the twin problem of corruption and poverty, we need an intelligent man to be at the helm of affairs to lead national development. Nigeria cannot afford to have blind leader as a president because the speed at which other countries are developing is scaring. We don't have time to waste.

Nigerians know deep inside their heart that Dr. Bukola Saraki is the smartest and the most intelligent politician in the country today and he is vying for the office of the president. We don't have time to waste with any unintelligent leader. So let's vote for Dr. Bukola Saraki and make him our president. Though he is not a Saint of which none of us is, he will redeem our image with his intelligence and world class education. Nigeria will no longer be a dustbin where anything goes.

We are late on National Development, so we don't have time to try unintelligent leaders again. An average Nigerian does not want to live in Nigeria. 90% of Nigerian youths if given opportunity will run away from Nigeria. All Nigerians both the youths and elderly will prefer to school in Europe or America. All Nigerians if given an opportunity will dump Nigerian Citizenship for American Citizenship or somewhere in Europe or Australia. We are backward in everything to the extent that a white man's garbage is a luxury for Nigerians.
All these happened because we have been allowing incompetent and unintelligent people to lead us.

I beg my fellow Nigerians to give Bukola Saraki a chance to lead the affairs of this great country as a president.

You're an epitome of Nigerian problem. You Braze.
First, you said there's no saint and then you ask us to vote someone.

My problem is, can't this old men that have been in power before just offer advisory roles. Must they be in power to be of service to this name?
This shows they have more to steal from the system.

Emmyirab:

A sponsorship letter is a letter, written by the sponsor, usually containing;
1. Introduction of the sponsor
2. How he intends to fund the applicant (the amount he will provide every year, his business, properties......)
2. The relationship between the applicant and the sponsor
3. The reason for sponsoring the applicant
4. The sponsor can also put in a few good words, like how passionate the applicant is about the course of study.

The affidavit of sponsorship, is the actual declaration of sponsorship, where the sponsor swears to give out a specific amount of money to the applicant. It is usually done in a court.

GCMS note is a case specific note, written by the visa officer when he/she denies an application.
The note contains the exact reasons why the visa officer denies an application

Thanks a lot. More than clarify now. God bless you.

Hi guys, I I've been following the thread for while now.
I'm set to apply for visa for January semester.
Among the document to submit;
1. I saw affidavit of sponsorship and again sponsorship declaration on one of the samples. How do I get them if they're not the same thing?

2. Is it advisable to do medical upfront or just wait until I'm asked to and like how much Will the medical cost?

3. Any other useful input will be highly appreciated

Thanks.
