Are you behind a proxy on you local network? I do know its filtered at a certain client of ours location at the internet gateway, but we somehow get to access the site via HTTPS. Guess most access filtering application/proxies cannot read the tag for encrypted links.

Try connecting to another internet access point and see if the site comes up.

Don't know about the rest, but writing a compiler is extremely crazy! I've been working on compiler for a custom application (pseudo similar to BASIC) and its interestingly tough!

hmmmm, question really should be: Do you need a laptop?

Firstly you need to identify your need, and then seek software to meet them. Are you vying for programming/desktop publishing/graphics mastery? You decide, only then can software be suggested for you.

I doubt you can upgrade the HDD, as most netbooks use solid state drive for storage. But I find it rather weird that the drive size isn't upto to a gig.

I recently updated my ubuntu OS to 12 and since then anytime I boot up, it goes straight to the terminal. I guess it has something to do with my video configuration settings. Does anyone know how I can configure my video settings via the command line?? Any help wld be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A fresh install or an upgrade? If it's a fresh install, sound's like you installed the server version of the OS. This doesn't have a gui installed by default.

Power Nap, sounds like "Intel Smart Connect Technology" to me. Apple should be using processors from intel that supports this tech and just warped the software around it.

Googled up some info, HP Envy from 2011 has this feature as did Vista OS (though it was DOA for OEM didn't adopt it then). Give it up to Apple, they made it better!

While this may not necessarily mean you have been hacked, it simply shows you concurrent or recent access to your email account. If the location isn't within your "normal" browsing region, you get flags like this.

Question:
1. Do you have your mail configured on a mobile device and/or desktop mail client like Outlook?
2. Are you accessing the internet via proxy?

In the interim, follow the steps outlined by deji2009 & hisblud, especially the "Sign out all other sessions"
