Politics › Re: Ambush Of Soldiers: A Major Setback That Will Never Be Forgotten by malel1: 2:35pm On Nov 14, 2021 |
DrRasheed: The ambush led by the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists in Borno state has claimed the lives of five soldiers including a senior officer with the rank of Brigadier General. This is the latest onslaught of the insurgents against the officers of the Nigerian security forces. This calamity is a major setback for the war against the insurgency. This ambush will never be forgotten considering the gravity of the situation. It is about time the troops wipe out these insurgents once and for all. The operational capabilities of the Nigerian Army cannot be weakened by this ambush. The military authorities have already acknowledged the sacrifices made by the fallen soldiers. Their sacrifices for the continuous existence of Nigeria will always be remembered. Already, a more tactical approach is being deployed to prevent the reoccurrence of such setbacks in the war front as assured by the military. The Boko Haram terrorists take advantage of the rough terrain in the northeast to lay ambush on security convoys.
The menace of Boko Haram terrorists continues to gain momentum. This does not mean that the security forces will relent in discharging their duties. If you can remember, in a similar scenario, the troops have repelled attacks on the Askira Uba community where several terrorists lost their lives and weapons were recovered.
Many patriotic Nigerians continue to offer their condolences to the families of the fallen heroes. Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has also commended the sacrifice made by the troops and acknowledged the spirit of resilience, dedication and commitment of troops of the Nigerian Army in fighting insurgents and other security challenges across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
Of course, the regrouping of insurgents across our national borders is worrisome. But this does not mean that the security forces are doing nothing to tackle their atrocities. So far Operation Hadin Kai remains active in the northeast and troops are relentless in their attempts to bring a sense of lasting peace to the region.

Brother in so far as Anambra state is involved, Catholicism plays a major role... All thanks to Governor Mbadinauju who publicly said on national television that Anambra state is a protestant state. He mentioned all who have ruled Anambra state and truly they were all protestant... Considering the population of Catholics in Anambra state he shouldn't have made such utterance... This propelled all political parties to filled Catholics as their candidates in 2003. Since then it has been the case. Boss I do t have time for this ur catholic , protestant t thing, if it's a Muslim that will make my state good, let will continue to rule |

1nigeriamyfoot: It's shameful that a man who claimed to be academically sound during his campaign during gubernatorial election could be this wasteful after assuming power
Seyi Abiodun Makinde promised heaven & earth before people of Oyo state voted massively for him during 2019 gubernatorial election but today we are getting nothing in return for the sacrifice made
Each time I travelled to some state where their government are doing wonders, I wonder what we've done to get this rubbish from Seyi Makinde
I used Anambra as case study, the government spent 6bn to built International Airport that will be of great benefits to the people of the state in terms of import & export, passenger travelling, job opportunity etc but here in Oyo state, our governor spent 5bn to repackage functioning stadium that's not generating 1m per month, what a great waste of funds. Seyi Makinde also spent billions of Naira building motor park which has not reached 30% completion after more than a year
Seyi Makinde failed to invest on education sector, health sector, agriculture, science & technology, which can in return create massive job opportunities for the youths of this state
No graduate will ever be employed to work at motor park & the motor park will not generate any revenue for the government or this state yet Seyi Makinde spent billions of Naira on this project
Government of Cross Rivers states now has chicken processing factory that will produce 24,000pcs of processed birds on daily basis, this will generate income for the state & provide employment opportunity for the people of the state
Seyi Makinde has took loan of 100bn in less than 3years without nothing to show for it and I'm sure sure before his tenure expires in 2023, he will take more loan
People of Oyo state needs to wake up & start questioning this administration
Good governance is beyond 'we are paying salaries' slogan because other states are paying salaries too & their government still delivering massive commendable projects
Our roads across Oyo state is in shambles & this government seems to care less about it That's why we need somebody like soludo to continue were obiano stopped. We say No to APC |

22o62021: We bonded so well together, she is an NYSC member. She told me that she has a boyfriend but she has called off their relationship because the guy has beaten her twice. The first time , the guy did it in front of his mother to the extent that she lost a tooth. And spent days in the hospital
The second time the guy slapped her because she told him that he comes home late. She said the guy is a serial cheat, she has caught him on different occasions.
They dated for 6 years. But the guy will not accept the break up. Their families knows each other.
I have her the love she deserved, pampered her so well. I told her that I know she will go back to the guy one day, she said nooo I can’t do that.
One week after I said that to her. The guy was calling and pleading. She stopped picking my calls. I stopped calling her.
I sent her a text to know what is going on. She said it’s not what I think.
I said fine. I deleted her numbers and move on.
This is to say that most girls are confused. I think they prefer abusive men but on the internet They rebuke them. That's the only thing that interested me in ur post . Was ur Deleting her number and moving forward no time for stupid people |

The sars affected d entire South o. Even d protests dat kicked off in my area, the leader was only addressing d crowd in yoruba, soro soke is also Igbo I guess
Am still waiting for someone to tell my why Igbos in lagos don't listen to kanu on any other issue like sit at home only for kanu to mobilize dem within 24 hours to destroy lagos, I mean the Igbos we are talking about here are spare part dealers, okirika sellers, roadside sellers, electronics dealers etc. Den at the same time d Mushin, oshodi, and all other agberos scattered around lagos chose to stay in their house and watch Igbos burn down properties .
I used to hear a lot about how educated South westerners are until I lived in lagos moreover the Endsars blame on igbo goes a long way to show how dumb a lot of persons are
U have never heard of Igbos destroying properties or fighting anybody before outside igboland even though I do witness firsthand how the agbero task collectors treat dem, in market igbo women are not allowed to sell anything yoruba women are selling, upon all these u will never see dem fight anybody yet the so called educated people will always be first to say igbos don't respect their hosts.
The North can keep playing their division cards well as long as some so called educated dummies are falling for it no problem God bless u my broda. |
