HCF: As far as this MMM issue is concerned, you can say anything about Nigerians being greedy and I might agree with u. But, don't ever attribute their involvement in MMM or any other ponzi scheme to Laziness.
Quite a number of people I know who joined are VERY hardworking Nigerians who despite their long years of struggles, could barely make ends meet. Their gullibility is a sign of loss of confidence in the system and a sign of frustration borne out of years of fruitless hardwork- the system that talks about entrepreneurship but fails to create an enabling environment...the system that tells you the importance of education with good grades, yet many First and second class graduates roam the streets for years without any gainful employment. Yes! these people saw MMM as a means of making quick money without doing much,..but it doesn't make them lazy. Nigerians are naturally hardworking...Go and see them excel with ease in other countries with functional systems!. Nwanne God bless u |

Deji Adeyanju, a Twitter user with close ties to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) claims that the ex-president of Nigeria is in the US. The immediate past president of Nigeria in a letter to Trump dated Friday, January 20, congratulated him and expressed optimism that his administration will work with the African continent to help her people realize its goals and aspirations. However there were rumours in the Nigerian media space yesterday, January 19 that Jonathan will be attending Trump's inauguration later today. In a singular tweet, Adeyanju claimed that no invitation was extended by Trump to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari https://www.naij.com/1083760-gej-arrives-usa-congratulates-trump-swearing-in.html |

dupyshoo: Hiyah, did you study in Canada or your education is in Canada? If no, then I am sure with your details below, your CRS won't be up to that. The max. CRS score for a single person with MSc., 3 or more years of work experience, max IELTS score and less than 30 year old is 481. The max. score for a married person with the same details and with max IELTS score and MSc for the spouse is 484.
You can only get above these points if you have PhD/Canadian Education/Canadian work experience.
To be honest with you, you will likely require provincial nomination as you would have lost about 40 points due to age alone.
If you are interested, you might consider Australia PR. I studied Elect/Elect as well and I have seen a lot of Elect/Elect Engineers that have been successful with Australia PR. In fact, most Engineers find it easier than other professions. You can check my past post for the comparison between Australia PR and Canada PR. Thanks brother |

https://www.naij.com/1079059-economic-crisis-even-abacha-buhari-former-cbn-director.htmlA former director at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to work towards restoring Nigeria’s economy. In an interview with The Cable, Akpan Ekpo said leadership entails working with experts in relevant fields to achieve a desired result. Condemning the use of non-professionals as head of key sectors, Ekpo, a former vice chancellor at the University of Uyo said Nigeria’s economy would soon become like that of Zimbabwe or Venezuela if not professionally managed. “More so, when some people running the key ministries are not in the profession that you need to look at the economy. They are either core politicians who have not been involved in running an economy for a long time,” Ekpo said. “I will give you an example. During the tenure of late General Sani Abacha, he appointed Chief Anthony Ani as minister of finance. But Anthony said he is an accountant and that he does not think he has what it took to run the economy alone. “So, Abacha approved for him a ministerial advisory committee. He brought in only economics and a lawyer to drive the process during that process. Go and look at the macro-fundamentals at that period. And there was a link between the ministerial advisory committee and the national economic team headed by Prof. Sam Aluko. “So, even Abacha who was a dictator left the economy to be run by experts and the economy did well then. I was involved. In fact, I was the chairman of that ministerial committee in the ministry of finance for four years. We ran the economy.” |

Sealeddeal: A lot of sane Yorubas voted against Buhari and that's why he couldn't get more than 50% vote in many Yoruba states. The problem in Southwest is that after the fall of Ilorin, Islam was brought in Yorubaland with sword and threat of bloodshed making a lot of Yorubas turning themselves into Fulani slavish Muslims. They're the major problem in Southwest. Those people will vote for any Fulani Muslim irrespective of anything and they have money and media to spread lies. They're the people referred to as Afonja or Yoruba Muslims. 10000000% fact. |
