Just to be on the safe side, Technically speaking, inverters usually have safety margins for load, hence overload protection kick in about 5 sec @ 105% - 150% load.
So any load close to 100% use is not advisable, hence my 50 percent rule for extended use.

Yes, it's hybrid inverter. Same internal component as Sunfield, SMS and Welion hybrid inverters.

Nice move, but keep in mind that you should not exceed 50 percent of your inverter capacity and I'm guessing you are using lithium battery with enough panels.
A 1500w cooker should be your priority or induction cooker that you can regulate to output 1000w to 1500w.
I normally use my 4.2kw Powmr inverter to power 1500w water heater, 1 hour daily at peak sun hours.

Usually, 70 to 80 percent of your installed PV capacity, at peak sun around 11am - 1pm when the sun is incident upon your panel.

I recently installed four 400W solar panels (used Canadian solar) with 60Amp felicity charge controller to charge a 2.5kva inverter and 2 220ah tubular batteries

Since i have installed last month june to be precise. I haven't seen more than 600watts and 21amp

Infact what i averagely see is around 300watts with 15amp

I want to ask if this is an issue or is it because of the current weather that the sun isn't shining too much

Lastly what do i do to rectify or should i chill till sunny season

The weather this period is not solar friendly, so PV generation will be poor. So you will have to wait for a good sunny day to check your pv generation. If you still get poor results, then your "used Canadian solar panel" will be the next suspect in your installation, as there are stories of low capacity used panels upgraded with sticker and sold as used.

The inverter has been disconnected so I can take it to where I got it from for further tests

The pv side of the inverter is faulty. Send to service center for repair, I once had similar situation.

12v inverter uses more current to achieve same power output as compared to 24v system and above.
More current causes heat and losses, therefore less efficiency.
You spend more in buying mppt, imagine buying a 150 amps mppt.
High current protection for such accessories cost more, so you end up spending more.
Any short circuit incident on DC side na die, Kabooom.

Summary 12v system should be limited to 1000watts load Max.

Sun heat cannot cause solar panel fire hazard, but poorly installed solar panel, improper cable insulation and protection from short circuit and other hazards.

I av come again gurus, I have a 12v 1kva hybrid afripower inverter(spec is pwm wit max volt,current and panel as 25v,25a and 600w resp) which i mainly use to power lights and TV. Was working towards adding 600w solar panel wit seperate CC just so I can add my freezer to it. Today I decided to just plug the freezer to the inverter today to even see if it would carry it and voila inverter tripped off showing shortcircuit and then later overload. This inverter usually carries it if utility is available but this one it failed wit just the dc, what do I do? Would connecting the panels directly to the inverter help instead of using CC or do i av to get a bigger inverter? Freezer is haier thermocool 200l wit input current at 180watts

Your inverter simply can't power your 200l freezer. I'm sure your freezer surge will be up to 2000 watts, running watts could be 150w. Best option for the freezer is to upgrade your inverter system.

Lontor rechargeable fans are built to use solar panels directly, provided you do not exceed 50 watts. There's is a port where you connect it on the fan, not directly to the battery.

My 200l freezer inverter freezer/ medium fridge.

Panel is not enough for the battery/system. Standard installation should be nothing less than 8* 300watts solar panel. The fairly used u used, may not even give out it's name plate capacity.
Try make it up, before you battery suffer premature failure.

The main issue here is the low voc of 35v of your solar panel ( more like 250w panel). When loaded the vmp may drop to 27v or less depends on intensity of the sun, which is not enough to charge your battery fully and also produces less power.
60amps Mppt charge controller solves the problem easily, I'll advice you to use 2s2p connection for 4 solar panels to achieve best output.
Make sure your pv faces south with minimal elevation of 15 to 25 degrees.
I also use the same setup as you and I enjoy more power at daytime and only consume 30 percent of battery overnight.

The Old model is better.

Not possible, that's the cost of cheap inverter and battery alone. That's 200ah * 2 in a 24v system ( cost effective on long run).

100ah * 2 and fairly used (inverter and 2* 250w panel) can get you somewhere, but not for 400 watts load continuous.

that setup is not sufficient to charge your batteries full in 5-6 hours of peak sunlight, with other loads on

but first provide the wattage for your fridge and freezer, , how many fans, and bulbs

give a clear detailed power rating of your appliances, to get best advise.

600 watts solar panel per 200ah battery, implies you'll need 2400 watts solar panel capacity for efficient charging of your 4 batteries.
You will need 24v or 48v inverter system for efficiency also and future loads expansion, 3000watts to 4000watts inverter with good inbuilt charger (40/50amps) for nepa/gen powered.
Make sure your fridge/freezer are energy efficient , average 100 watts running power consumption .
You will need one 60amps mppt charge controller for 48v battery/inverter setup.
Or two 60amps mppt charge controller for 24v battery/inverter setup.
U start with half the requirements and half the loads, then expand later when convenient.
48v setup is better and cheaper on the long run.
