9jaforlife:you are a muslim, to you this is strange because the carnal man born of the flesh(ishmaelite) the thing of the spirit is foolishness to you, what Paul is saying here is this>>> if you want to preach the gospel to the gentile you acts like them(to the poor I became poor and to the rich I became rich, to the Jews I became like a Jew) the core message is humble yourself to those who are hearing the gospel. |
9jaforlife:you can insult me all you like, thank to the quran for this moral behaviour, since we start debating, I haven't insult you. I repeat, paste were you or your brother answer the question. Paul was asking question, Roman 3:7 was a question, there was a question mark at the end and Paul answer the question in the next verse, actually NOBODY say you quote it out of context, you only quote the verse that ask question and live the nest one that answer the question, will Paul condemned himself? |
9jaforlife:you quote a verse from the bible (Roman 3:7) and accused Paul of lying, this accusations was first laid by vedaxcool and lanre your muslims brother, and I reply it, since then your muslims brothers always ask the question and whenever I came in contact with the post (recycles) I never got to lazy to reply it because I know many people that are seeing it for the first time will be confused. Do you want your muslims viewers to feel the same way? If you know the answer to my question, don't be too lazy to answer it OR just shut up and passbye. |
cupid1:and I will repeat my self again, WHERE IS THE CLAIMED OF SATAN? Did you have any evidence of satan side of his story? Provide it and let us see. |
cupid1:I will be really glad if you can provide the devil claimed. meanwhile; Ezekiel 28:12-15 describes Satan as an exceedingly beautiful angel; Ezekiel 28:12–15 12 “Son of man, araise a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord God: “You were the signet of perfection,1 full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; fevery precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire,2 emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings.3 On the day that you were created they were prepared. 14 You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you;4 you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. 15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. HOW IS UNRIGHEOUSNESS FOUND IN SATAN? He desired to be God, not to be a servant of God. Notice the many “I will...” statements in Isaiah 14:12-15. Isaiah 14:12–15 12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! 13 You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit. So you see, God give satan equal right and even create him far more handsome and stronger than all the angels, because of this he desire to be God and don't want to play by His(God) ruled. |
johnydon22:yes, everybody need books. |
DProDG:thank you for your gentile respond, to me your question do not make sense. Did you expect me to write an example of Good? Or just say helping the needy is example of good, so what your points? |
plaetton:God did no evil, is just that God who design this moral law will not allow human to break it easily, holiness is among the nature of God and we are created in His image, God will not allow us to easily sin, but because of freewill, you are to chose between good and evil, those who chose good will be allow in God own universe (heaven) and thoes who chose evil will not be allow in this new universe, meaning the devil will take them with him to his destination. If you want to present evidence, make sure you provide the WHOLE truth, you did not provide evidence that God is evil rather you quote were God carry out his action.the major religion belief in the stone age is the worshippers of the moon gods infacte this people you accused God of killing is far more greater than the isrealite in time of artillery. But God was with the isrealite. Go and read the bible about the isrealite beginning with the exedus erra, as a matter of fact, when the Jews were in bondage in Egypt, God did not just go and wipe the Egyptian out, He only say"let my people go"if you continue reading when the isrealite were freed, they were in the desert when the amalikites attack them, the amalikites are mighty than the isrealite, they kill the Jews and take all there food, that is were the problems began and other nation joined the amalikites. But God was with them. So God destroying this people were justified, infacte God waited until the time of Joshua when he carry out his judgment he judge the amalikites cannanite e.t.c back then in genesis. They have time to repent but did not. |
johnydon22:hope you are not offended? You really need her prayer. |
johnydon22:the kind of evil you are indicating, I will never agree with it, if evil is base on human understanding, no one will feel guilty of doing evil, hitler did not just woke up and kill 6million Jews, but if you still see it as a concept base on his own understanding, I will not argue it with you .can I ask you a question? Is your mum a prayerful christian? |
plaetton:a leader lead by example, if Jesus command us to carry sword, he would have do so, what are christians to do with the sword?Jesus say he came to bring sword and when peter take out two sword in response to Jesus prophecy about his death, Jesus rebuke him, does this sound right to you? Are you not an interlingent atheist? You of all people should have grab the meaning even more than some christians. Just sad you talk like this, you have a bias attitude. |
johnydon22:do atheists like evil? You say no atheist is linking God to evil? Here what pleatton say in response to an2lect who quote from the book of isaiah say God created evil : plaetton: Lol. Nice of you to admit that your imaginary moral law giver is schizophrenic. Now, what kind of MORAL laws should Anyone expect from a bible- certified schizophrenic.? Seriously. Beckwith argues that a non-personal ground of an objective moral law that transcends human subjectivity "is inadequate in explaining the guilt and shame one feels when one violates the moral law. For it is persons, not rules or principles, that elicit in us feelings of guilt and shame." [15] As Paul Copan asks: "Why should we feel guilt towards abstract moral principles?"[16] Since it would be inappropriate to feel guilt or shame before an abstract (impersonal) moral principle, and since it is appropriate to feel guilt and shame before the objective moral law, that moral law cannot be an abstract moral principle. In other words, objective moral values must be ontologically grounded in a transcendent personality before whom it is appropriate to feel moral guilt (it's worth noting that the possibility of objective forgiveness for moral guilt is equally dependent upon the moral law having a personal ground). These four arguments form a powerful cumulative case for the first premise of the moral argument. http://www.bethinking.org/morality/can-moral-objectivism-do-without-god |
plaetton:and did the bible ever mention Jesus carrying a sword? Here , Jesus was teaching about spiritual choice we will make and how it gonna affect us. the bible is clear, world peace is not among the will of God, you live in a universe where people will never agreed with the spiritual choice you make, world peace will be impossible. |
plaetton:Most atheists define evil according to their own interpretation By defining evil as things they don't like, they have created a circular argument guaranteed to "prove the non-existence" of God. The Christian definition of evil is anything done by one of God's spirit beings (humans or angels) against Him (or His created beings). As such, God is never responsible for evil - only His created spirit beings. Atheists say that since only God can create, therefore He must have created evil. However, at this point the atheist has redefined the meaning of create. Evil was not created. Evil is manifested (committed) by free-will beings. Nice play on words, but it doesn't stand up to examination. |
plaetton:you say christians killing in the name of Jesus. Did christ say we should kill for him? Bible say vengeance belong to God. |
An2elect2:https://www.nairaland.com/2035915/did-god-create-evil-does |
mustymatic:see, if you study and pay close attention to the word of Jesus, whenever Jesus quote from the scripture(old testament law ) He claimed to have fulfilled it example , the mosaic law say thou shall not kill but in the new testament Jesus say DON'T even hate your brother, hatred result to killing, am I right?yes!! In the old testament the mosaic law say "thou shall not commit adultery" but in the new covenant Jesus say DON'T even look at a woman with lust, if you look at a married woman with lust it will tempt you to commit an evil ACTS, am I right? So as a christian, all what you have to do is to obey the commandment which Jesus fulfilled which is in the new testament. For better understanding of the teaching of Jesus, this OLD law (mosaic law) must exist in the bible. |
9jaforlife:just for argument sake, let us just say you answer it but I do not understand, can you pleased repeat it again for the benefit of the viewers. |
9jaforlife:to understand the meaning of this verse you will have to start from verse 1, Paul was asking question and if you continue reading Paul answer himself,Roman 3:7 was a question which Paul leter answer Romans 3:1-8 "What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God. What if some did not have faith? Will there lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? NOT AT ALL! Let God be TRUE, and every man a liar. As it is written: 'So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.' But if our unrighteousness brings out God's righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? that God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.) CERTAINLY NOT! If that were so, how could God judge the world? Someone might argue, 'If my falsehood enhances God's truthfulness and so increase his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?' Why not say -- as we are being slanderously reported as saying and as some claim we say -- 'Let us do evil that good may result'? Their condemnation is deserved." In verse 7 Paul is quoting a hypothetical argument that someone might use in order to justify lying: having quoted this argument he then refutes it by saying "THEIR CONDEMNATION IS DESERVE." Paul make himself and example and say if he preach word contrary to the word of God, God condemnation on him is deserve. There is no way in which, having read the quotation in context, you could honestly accuse Paul of deception by teaching Christians to tell falsehoods, nor could you accuse him of contradicting Proverbs 14:5. here is what Paul is saying >>>> value the truth of God rather than the holiness of the preacher" |
9jaforlife:" fight in his caused, slain and be slained " how can you live in peace with such command? Forcing someone against his will is against the nature of God in us. |

mujahid1339 here is more. Al Hadis, Vol 2, p. 347, Jaber-b-Samorah reported that the Messenger of Allah said, "This religion will never cease to exist. A party of the Muslims shall always fight for it until the Hour (entering heaven) comes." Attested by Muslim. So, Islamic Jihad is supposed to go on constantly. The modern version is called "Arab terrorism" in the West, but it is simply the latest manifestation of Islamic "old-time religion." Any claim by the Mullahs, that Muslims are peace loving, is strictly window-dressing. Muhammed loved to let blood, and so do the Mullahs of Islam today. Jihad is the true priority and is always an option to every true Muslim. This is what the leaders of Israel understand very well, and it will become a permanent part of American life in the years ahead since Desert Storm and the New World Order challenged the Muslim resolve. THE BIBLE ON EVANGELISM BY FORCE Bible, Luke 22:36 Jesus is preparing the disciples to continue without His physical presence after He returned to His Father in heaven, Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. Verse 38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough" Verses 49-51 "When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them (Peter) smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him. Jesus allowed two swords among eleven men; hardly a Jihad in the making! When Peter chopped off the ear of an "infidel," Jesus healed the wound made by Peter. The God of the Bible allows self-defense against thieves and bandits, but when the Gospel is at stake, the true Christian RECEIVES the sword's wound for Christ's sake. So Peter, unlike Muhammed, later died a martyr. |
mujahid1339 how is this an answer to the op? You are clueless and cannot defend your prophet. All what you copy and paste are the old testament law, they live by the divine law of God, and when you break the law of God who don't tolerate sin, it's punishment. The amalikites you accused the isrealite of killing are a nation who is far stronger than the isrealite, but God was on the side of the isrealite. The amalikites first attack the isrealite during the exedus in the desert, when they are legging and thirsty , the amalikites attack with out provocation. During the time of judges, when the isrealite planted crops, the amalikites will invade there farm and harvest it, God judge them but He waited for soo long until the fill up there measures. On slavery.First, we must recognize that the Bible does not say God supports slavery. In fact, the slavery described in the Old Testament was quite different from the kind of slavery we think of today - in which people are captured and sold as slaves. According to Old Testament law, anyone caught selling another person into slavery was to be executed: "He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death." ( Exodus 21:16) So, obviously, slavery during Old Testament times was not what we commonly recognize as slavery, such as that practiced in the 17th century Americas, when Africans were captured and forcibly brought to work on plantations. Unlike our modern government welfare programs, there was no safety-net for ancient Middle Easterners who could not provide a living for themselves. In ancient Israel, people who could not provide for themselves or their families sold them into slavery so they would not die of starvation or exposure. In this way, a person would receive food and housing in exchange for labor. So, although there are rules about slavery in the Bible, those rules exist to protect the slave. Injuring or killing slaves was punishable - up to death of the offending party. Hebrews were commanded not to make their slave work on the Sabbath, slander a slave, have sex with another man's slave, or return an escaped slave. A Hebrew was not to enslave his fellow countryman, even if he owed him money, but was to have him work as a hired worker, and he was to be released in 7 years or in the year of jubilee (which occurred every 50 years), whichever came first. In fact, the slave owner was encouraged to "pamper his slave". Bible rule on slave: "If a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod and he dies at his hand, he shall be punished." ( Exodus 21:20) "If a man strikes the eye of his male or female slave, and destroys it, he shall let him go free on account of his eye. "And if he knocks out a tooth of his male or female slave, he shall let him go free on account of his tooth." (Exodus 21:26-27) "He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death." ( Exodus 21:12) 2. "Six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave, as well as your stranger, may refresh themselves. (Exodus 23:12) 3. Do not slander a slave to his master, Or he will curse you and you will be found guilty. ( Proverbs 30:10) 4. 'Now if a man lies carnally with a woman who is a slave acquired for another man, but who has in no way been redeemed nor given her freedom, there shall be punishment; they shall not, however, be put to death, because she was not free. ( Leviticus 19:20) 5. "You shall not hand over to his master a slave who has escaped from his master to you. ( Deuteronomy 23:15) So can you answer the op? |

mujahid1339:copy what he paste and create a thread, mention me and I will honour it. Thank you. |
Hadis, Vol. 4, p. 420, Abu Ayyub reported: The prophet came out while the sun was setting. He heard a voice and said, "the Jews are punished in their graves." Agreed Antisemitism is a non-Semite hating a Semite. Don't falsely accuse Muhammed, this is a half-brother hating a half-brother, nonetheless it is pure hate, and Allah inspired it, not Jehovah. You will not find an account in the Bible of Jews hating Ishmaelites. The only place where they had problems is where the Ismaelites joined Israel's enemy to attack Israel. THE BIBLE ON HATE FOR PEOPLE Romans 12:19, Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. In the Bible, revenge against one's enemies is profane, mercy is divine. Jesus Christ again judges Muhammed when he says: Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. If God is kind to all men in this life and shows mercy to those who don't deserve it, then Muhammed shows us that he and Allah are devilish impostors. They are the opposite of the God of the Bible and His prophets. Muhammed's hate for the Jew bears only the fruit of death and suffering. TALKING AND WALKING TREES: Al Hadis, Vol 4, p. 435, Ali-b-Abu Taleb reported, "I was with the Prophet at Mecca and we came out by one of its sides. No mountain or tree met him but it was saying, 'greeting on thee, O Apostle of Allah." Attested by Tirmizi, Darimi. Also, on p. 446 of the same we are told how Muhammed was discouraged because of a very rough battle. Gabriel, the angel, came and told Muhammed to call some nearby trees to him, and they came running to him, then returned. This was reported by Anas and attested by Darimi. THE BIBLE ON MUHAMMED'S FAIRY TALES There is no record of trees walking around in the Bible. Living things that move around must have flesh. , I Corinthians 15:39, All flesh is not the same flesh:but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. Trees have no flesh, so God would not mock His own wisdom by having them run around. This sounds like a devilish nursery rhyme, The Arabian Nights, or The Seer of Mormonism, where plants allegedly have spirits. God told us how the trees make his power known, that is, in the hands of his saints as in the Bible, Leviticus 23:40, And ye shall take you on the first (feast) day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. Muhammed simply used pagan fantasy to exalt himself rather than God. MUHAMMED ON SINFUL THOUGHTS: Al Hadis, Vol 3, p. 131, Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah said, "Verily, Allah pardoned my followers for what their thoughts prompt towards evil so long as they do NOT DO IT OR UTTER IT ." Agreed In other words, Muslims can think any sinful thought as long as it is secret. Muhammed must have had a lapse, or perhaps we have found another "Satanic Verse" situation, because the Koran directly CONTRADICT Muhammed's above Hadith. Koran, Sura 2:284, "To Allah belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth. Whether ye show what is in your minds or conceal it, Allah calleth you to account for it...." Now, which revelation do you think is the truth? Both cannot be true! "The devil made me do it," he says. Al Hadis, Vol 3, p. 131, Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Apostle of Allah said, "There is none among you but was entrusted with an intimate friend from the Jinn (devils) and with an intimate friend from the angels." Attested by Muslim. We see here that Muhammed counted the devils (Jinn) as "friends." Perhaps he never saw how utterly evil the Satanic world really was. Very few of the pagan world religions consider the devils to be "friends." the Bedhoin Arabs around Mecca had the notion that the Jinn could be manipulated and men could get the best of them by stealth. They also assumed that the Jinn could be blamed for their thoughts. Here, Muhammed canonized that belief. Is this why he had such terror of being overcome by the spirit world? THE BIBLE ON THOUGHT LIFE The Bible writers are very clear on this subject. The Apostle Paul says in the Bible: Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. When we read the Bible it moves into our heart and convinces us we are sinners. No thought escapes the Bible's examination. The Bible deals with temptation very specifically as in Hebrews 4:15, speaking of Jesus, For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. So Jesus Christ knows when our thoughts are sinful and when they are merely temptations. Being tempted is not an act of sin, though it was. according to Muhammed. |
