J.T. Kalejaiye mounted the pulpit at
the Redeemed Christian Church of
God, Cornerstone Parish (aka My
Father’s House) where Pastor
Danjuma Tafawa-Balewa is the
resident pastor, to deliver the home
truth, addressing the problems of the
nation, calling a spade a spade, and
urging Nigerians to wake up and vote
without religious or ethnic
sentiments.
The kernel of his message: Don’t
vote along religious or ethnic lines.
Vote for the right man who would
move the country forward,
irrespective of his religion or his eth
nicity. The man of God, predicting the
forthcoming Presidential election,
said “There would be a pleasant
surprise. Go and mark it.”
Sounding angry with the way Nigeria
is going, Kalejaiye fumed: “Of what
use is my brother, my blood brother
who is not going to move the nation
forward? And you want me to vote for
him because he is my brother? Don’t
let us deceive ourselves.”

eat. Today, our children who are 35,
we are still feeding them. What are
we saying? Let’s call a spade a
spade, brethren. Things cannot
continue this way. Corruption is the
order of the day. You can steal and
nothing will follow. That's all.

The problem with most online political campaigners is the impression that all Nigerians are illitrates & cannot judge issues properly.
There is a difference between role-playing & character. One is projected to satisfy the demands of a particular season or occassio & is temporal, the other is whom you are & will always be, & that lasts a lifetime.
When politicians role-play like prof just did, it is only a temporal action meant to attract favourable response from.gullible voters. Their true character is what they were exhibiting before now & that is what they will display after the votes has been counted, win or lose.
My concern with a lot of APC apologists is that you are labelled all kinds of unprintable names if you do not share views.
If prof was not riding brt buses before now, that is his character, he will not ride after the elections, ein or lose. What he just did is role playing & that is hypocritical & deceptive.
