sweet t lets face nigerian people have never disappointed when it comes to disgracing us.
a Nigerian going home is well prepared for  great  entry into Nigeria more like the home comming queen
as in Cleopatra's entry into Rome and he acts it. they know big hand luggage is not allowed but they insist on taking them.
is it racism that they finish Nigerians at extra counters or is it because Nigerians have not learned to line up.
and still try their "struggle for food" dinning hall method

British Airways has been accused of treating all men passengers as potential sex offenders after it was revealed it has banned children from sitting next to male strangers - even if their parents are on the same flight. ,

when someone is doing something that is not right he knows the risk involved.
a Nigerian comming to anywere and throwing away his passport is playing porker he can win or lose. . so if he looses  then lose like a man.
why did they not bother to interview the deportee

look my people if am sitting in a plane with or without my kids and someone is yelling and struggling . i will fear for my life as to what that person can be up to.
in that moment i do not care if they tie him up and throw him to the baggage.
when i feel my life is at stake better the other persons than mein  thats human nature

@Mamput
It's easier for you to say that in the cozy of your home. People all over the world migrate from one spot to the other for different reasons. Most Nigerians do it because of the harsh economic condition @ home. But regardless of time being up or not, Treat African deportee as you would an American deportee or a Chinese. We are all human and possess certain human dignity. The Deported Nigerian must have had it so bad for him to yell out in pain. These people know it's against their own law to brutalize or torture anybody but they do it because it's "AFRICANS

thats just the problem Nigerians and other Africans do not go with dignity. they scream like goats being slaughtered in the hope that people like  poor Mr o will protest and that way they will have more time to work on their stay.
but this time someone wanted to set an example so that the bushdrum will sing out that sometimes yelling dose not help.
who would have thought that they will ever give up 139 passangers for one

never tap a police man on the shoulder when he is doing his job. or thinking he is doing his job.
BA as well as us airlines and Israel  fly high risk . the atomsphere is tense enough without people adding to it

http://card./2007/02/25/nigeria-cracks-down-on-illegal-aliens/

Nigeria is cracking down on “illegal aliens” from neighbouring countries whom the authorities call a “nuisance”. Niger and Chad seem to have been singled out in the clampdown with thousands of their nationals packed into lorries and taken to the border,

it has notting to do with the accent,
he was trying to impress .
he made use of big words he is not used to. and his sentences did not flow.
maybe he was just nervous.
Travel / Re: 136 Ba Passengers Removed From Jet Over Deportee Row by mamaput(f): 3:25pm On Apr 20, 2008
@mamaput - Just out of curiousity, what's the relationship between the way he speaks and the statement he wrote
he speaks like a semi illiterate.

So because the man is being brutalized and being deported, he should have been quiet?? Or they should have a separate plane for deportees

so what are they to do. not deport them. even Nigeria deports people. these people scream and shout because they want the pilot not to take them.
it has happened often enough that a pilot refuses or that passangers refuse.
if you got down for no reason no one will refund your money a trip to Nigeria dose not fall under charter flights Nigeria is not a tourist country people go home or for business
and not to look at palmtrees

i know of someone it happened to but he is from Angola or Congo.
they picked him up at his place of work.he asked the police if he could first branch home to change and then pick his money from the bank. he ran away from the bank.
his flight would have been on that same day. he was arrested at about 1pm and was to be deported at about 5:30 pm.
while we were talking about how lucky he was to bail some were saying its not luck but a new system.
if they really want to get rid of someone like in some bad cases(drugs) they take you non stop to the airport in handcuffs. even allowing you to use the loo wil be a grace

how old is this friend? the mum should disown her. and if the family members have something to say , they should take her up in their own house.

by the way rumour has it that the German police now allow people(they arrested for deportation) to "escape" . rumour has it that the government feels its cheaper than a deportation and that this way deportee has to take responsibility for himself. But if you do not use the oppunity to espape they deport you.
for example after arrest you say you want to use the bathroom or pick your money from the bank. they make room for you to run.
after arrest and escape you definitely cannot stay in your old life.
Family / Re: My Friend Consistently Beats Up Her Mum! by mamaput(f): 10:59am On Apr 20, 2008
i feel its the mothers fault she should have stopped it when the daughter was still small.
you see all these babies that like to slap people in the face. thats how its starts.
there was once this boy (about two) . this boy i did not know from adam just slaped me and i did not know when my hand lashed out and slapped him back.(he will never try that with me again).
anyway i kept talking to the father to train his boy to listen. he did not. result is that at a young age the boy is a marked troublemaker in school .

i watched the tape . the way that man speaks i will never believe he wrote that statement. he must have had a ghost writer.
and i will never sign any paper when it has to do with airlines. the next thing i know is that they will drag me out some place for some reason because am on some black list.
they must have told him the first time to go back to his sit. why do they have to tell him that more than once.
he must have instigated the others.as the ringleader he was the only one arrested.

i do not think that BA will answer to any demands.
if they were able to send one flight back with 139 passangers less then they will not answer Mr O
USA and UK do not handle with terrorist much more with one trouble makers
every one knows that after 9:11 no on jokeswith flights or trouble makers on flights.
and i personally do not believe the story of "i only said".
as for the money the sized just maybe they wanted to humiliate him a bit. but if they were wicked , they could have sent him to Montana -bay as a terrorist suspect.
I mean even westernunion have their eyes open after an amount of money

some people have their pride and do not want to beg.
The only thing you can do is to keep his things and let him buy them back

http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/new-airline-for-failed-asylum-seekers/2007/03/14/1173722517212.html
So vast has the number of deportees from Europe become, that two enterprising businessmen have hatched an extraordinary plan - a new airline exclusively for failed asylum seekers.

Asylum Airlines is set to be operative within three months, complete with padded rooms for troublemakers and meals - presumably with a halal option - for passengers.

The flights will journey around Europe, picking up failed asylum seekers from various countries and then dispatching them back to their home nations around Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Austrian deportation lawyer Hermann Heller and Austrian aviation consultant Heinz Berger told the Daily Express newspaper the new airline is in negotiations with several governments across Europe.

It was being promoted as a cost-efficient option for governments compared to the current arrangements on board commercial flights, with Britain reportedly spending STG315,000 ($A776,900) recently to deport just 15 Iraqis.

"Here in Austria, every time a deportee is sent home on a regular flight, they need three seats, not just for the deportee but for the policemen on either side," Mr Heller said.

"Many airlines have already stopped taking asylum seekers home because of unpleasant scenes.

"With a professional service the deportations will be faster, chains will not be needed and the deportees can enjoy a meal."

The planned flights will have guards, medical staff and a representative of a human rights group on board, though there is no immediate news of plans for inflight entertainment or a frequent-flyer schem

dee02:

I think this POSTER is a fraud!

The way you sound is peculiar to someone living in Nigeria unless u were locked up all the time while u were living abroad

I just smell something fishy about your story, but if you are true then goodluck, if not thunder fire your lying mouth and false fingers (that u used to type this post)!
if he spent a part of his life with his dad, what kind of English do you think he will be speaking?
fraud or not the story is not too good to be true. there are so many like him running around. his story is not even special but very common.
by the way my kids will most likely speak like him mixing the nigerian with the "school queens english"
Nairaland / General / Re: Seun, Make Me A Moderator by mamaput(f): 11:26pm On Apr 18, 2008
a moderator has to be someone that is always there but not with too many posts.
its not about sound advice. and moderators that get too involved also get carried away.
they say justice is blind so a moderator has to be able to read posts without the names to stay neutral then there is no friendship in it.
if need be a moderator has to be able to animate a dry topic or come up with new ones

larrybabe most of the people here are still very young to understand.
but there are 3 main things that can keep you unhappy in your marrage.
money , family and religion.
you have been able to see far ahead what can come out of it.
we are only talking about a date here not a boyfriend, not someone she has a child with or is committed to in anyway
by the way lady its not about judging but about analyzing a situation. larrybabe has done that and come up with a result.
the result stasy the same . question is can she live with it or not.
if not move on. nobody is obliged to marry the first man that comes your way
