Venita is very emotional, she's not faking it. You can't fake it for long. I see her as a woman that isn't emotionally prepared for this show; a lady that tried to be everywhere and be cool with everyone, but due to fault or no fault of hers, gave the HMs a wrong impression of herself and now regretting her actions.


If she knew what she knew now, she'd have minded her business more and keep to her lane. But then again, can you really blame her that much? She had very little time to impress the viewers and garner as much fans as possible. She probably thought she needed to be dramatic to garner enough fans in case she's up for eviction last week not knowing Biggie would give them enough time to endear themselves to viewers.

Yeah, she is the emotional type truly. Usually people find it difficult to understand how emotional people can cry at everything. I also think she did not expect the competition to be this tough.

Am not so sure housemates got a wrong impression because she was truly on a strategic game. Unfortunately, there are quite a number of crafty ones in that house who sussed her out immediately.

I feel pity for her but she needs to do some serious work to become more relevant.

Venita is still processing yesterday. (She looks on the verge of tears)

Preparations are going okay. They need to pick up speed a bit. She just hopes that are able to incorporate the right amount of the cultures but generally she is not really sure what is going on. The narrator was just in the garden trying to take her through some going ons and evening is already here. She thinks that more than one person should be on some things. Having another narrator might discourage Gedoni from doing what he is not supposed to be doing. So far there has been no reading.

To address the first question, she is feeling a bit upset because she is being targeted as a pot stirrer. She does not know why anyone would be that dishonest and this is not allowing her to focus her energy on what she need to focus it on.

(She is now crying)

The longest she has been away from her children has been a month and a half. It’s not so much the time away from them but when you feel no one has your back, you think of the unconditional love.

On the nomination challenge, though she is glad she is not up, she has a friend in Joe and is sad about him being put up via the veto. Watching Diane struggle was also hard to watch. Very bittersweet. Not like the happiest victory she has had in the house.

To be honest, she does not remember all those up but of the one she remembers, she will save Joe and Enkay because some of the others will be strong enough to survive it and others she is not so close to.

She thinks everybody copes better under pressure than she does. She thinks she is more open than others with her feelings so this might be why she does not think the others are pressured. She knows she is a strong character and she needs to remind herself more of that.

She thanks Biggie for the things they received. Hoping biggie changes his mind about giving them a washing machine. Biggie’s diaries has actually helped her.

Frodd is excited. Looking forward to the task. Was not feeling this way initially because the red team lost the nomination task. Emotional time for the team. And then infringement punishments kinda proved the point biggie was trying to pass across but it was exciting to see themselves acting some way under the influence...

Feels perfect about Seyi’s HoH. Likes his guts. Honest truth is that Seyi did great on time and deserved it. Not bad that he retained the HoH title in a row. Amazing performance even though I did not participate, that was a tough one. His reign will be blessed because I will not do to him what he did to mine.

He enjoyed the game of the nomination challenge. Free and fair. Was fine but at some point in the tie break, he felt there was an advantage because Mike had already unlaced a shoe in the previous challenge and he went back to that shoe in the tie breaker. But its fine. I was excited, scared. I even prayed halfway. Gave encouraging words but what happened happened and its not like we lost by a big margin.

He would save himself and Ike. Don’t want him to leave here the same way he came. He is at that point where we have broken him to reveal his inner self. Past the anger, the temper.... Even me self.

Veto was a difficult decision. Took her 3 tries. I don’t know how she feels about Joe or Mike but whatever her reasons were, it was not easy to do. It was compulsory. She did what she needed to do. Am sure she felt bad.

Big brother’s secret................................... again. The whole world will soon know so why is biggie still calling this thing a secret?

Mercy feels today is better than yesterday. She is hanging in there. She is fine but Ike is not fine. Today is way better than yesterday, she is good.

The house is waiting for the writers, they have roles and she believes the housemates are strong so will be okay.

She enjoyed the nomination challenge but she wishes she had won the veto power. Wishes she was in the same group with Ike even though they are up. Winning and having to still place someone from their team up was another thing that she did not like. Emotional things all around. Diane’s thing was also (some rambling). The pressure is too much. The pressure to be perfect. Sir Dee being blamed. The fact that one want to please people. This is why she prefers to play alone. The blame game is just ... (Mercy is more expressive with her hands so even though I understand what she is saying, I don’t want to use my words)

She sometimes feel under pressure to be perfect and she gets this pressure from the whole team. Being tense whilst doing something because its being done for the group is not like when you are doing it just for the fun. The pressure is not easy. The fun way helps you to win.

If given power, she would save Ike and Tacha because Ike is her friend. He is just her friend, boyfriend, comforter, hypeman, happiness and everything. Tacha is also a very sweet girl, her smile, yeah she can be somehow maybe because of mindset but she is real, she does what she wants and I don’t see anything wrong with that. She had Tacha have had one on one confrontation but if she had power, she would want to save her to continue to see that sweet loving person.

I won’t lie, I didn’t know Diane had that connection with SD. I had my hopes up but it made me realise that I have to have my priorities up. I thought in my silly head that she would save Ike because of me but I don’t know biggie, I could not process the whole thing.. If it was me, i would weigh many things and be sentimental. I broke a phone because of this girl but her priority was not my priority. She was even confused so maybe at that point she did’nt know who to replace. I didn’t tell her my explanations and then they all say, I know this person is stronger....I even told Ike that she would save him because I can do anything for her to make her happy. Biggie, she did what she had to do and its fine...

Biggie, after yesterdcay’s Highlights, I felt like or some HM made me feel like I am the one not doing what I am supposed to do with Ike. Not controlling him or the one engineering what he is doing. Even before the second strike, I have seen what he can do. He says he has darkness or someone hurt him. I have told him he can’t get disqualified or else I will never speak to you in my life. I said that to guide him but people in the house don’t feel like I did my best and they kinda blame me for this second strike. It is weighing me down and I am just confused. The whole thing is stressing me out.

Biggie tells her that she does not have a child in the house and whilst its admirable to want to look out for a friend, it is necessary to understand how hard, high deep we go for a housemate, they must fight for themselves...... (You can guess the rest of biggie’s response)

Sir Dee (SD) is feeling alright, not as good as usual and has a headache

Frankly not sure they are doing as well as they should be. They should be practicing by now but they are still waiting on the screen writers.

He could not have picked a better person than Seyi to handle the HoH activities. SD respects the HoH of Seyi.

He felt and still feels really horrible about what happened with nominations. Initially, he liked the idea. There was too much pressure because of the people counting on him. The feeling even got worse when Diane saved him. After letting the team down, he is saved from paying the price. This really broke him.

He would save Enkay and Elozonam because they have been here for the shortest time. He would love to add Cindy but connects more with the other two.

The rest of the house is doing really well under the pressure. Last night ended on a high low even tough strikes were issued. The laughs are helping to distract from the pressure.

Talking with biggie has not really helped as it is making him a bit emotional..

Enkay feels good today. Excited especially about the moi moi part and the task in general.

So far so okay. Trying to do the kitchen work. They had a little problem but that is sorted.

To be honest, she wanted a female to win HoH. Cindy did really really well but Seyi has been doing a fine job.

She did not enjoy the nomination challenge because there was a lot of tension. Her teammates did really well and she wants to applaud Sir Dee who stepped up and carried 8 people. She calls the Icons winners even though they lost.

She would save herself and Ike but if she is not on the list Ike and Khafi. She likes Khafi’s positive energy and how she handles everything with happiness. Ike because he needs to work on his anger and listens to all advice given to him. Being confined here will help him work on his anger issues. He is also a very cool person. Just a really nice person once he gets the anger out of the way.

She knows she is supposed to be scared for being nominated but that fear will not let her enjoy the week so she does not want to focus on it.

The other housemates are not coping so well under the pressure. But hopefully things will go back to normal by the end of the day especially if they use the task as distraction.

Biggie tells her a secret: Same secret as told to Elo. Each HM will lose at least half of their coins if at least 3 HM don’t spend up to 1000 coins... She can share the secret with only one HM.

She apologises for the room issue because she does not want to serve any more permission.

Ike is happy but there is a little mix of other feelings because of yesterday. Happy and nervous. Nervous because he is disappointed and sad they are nominated and then the video and getting another strike is putting him on edge as he has to be very careful.

Currently working on script, Moi Moi is in progress.

Seyi is always competitive so his win was not surprise. Any challenge with a blindfold or where one has to be careful has never been his thing but he had fun.

Enjoyed the nomination process more than the other way. More fair, entertaining and less emotional. The other one is secretive and gets people worried.

If given power, he would save himself. Then Omashola and Frodd because they are the closest to him out of all nominated so he can spend more time with them.

If he was in Diane’s shoes, he would have made the same choice. Her not saving Ike was okay because he thinks he has a lot of friends out there. Good save because Sir Dee was down after their team lost so she made the right choice.

No biggie did not do diaries yesterday..

Diane feels much better than yesterday even though her team won, she had veto which made the win difficult. She knew who she was going to save but the replacement was emotional for her. Mixed feelings yesterday.

Preparation for the coronation task is ongoing but an incident occurred today. Little clash but every one is trying to pull it off especially with the guidelines.

Seyi is good at being HoH so he is okay. She does not know how she feels about it.

In all honesty, she does not know which nomination process she prefers. Havin veto when the other team is up for nomination is scary. Sir Dee feeling responsible for his team is another problem. Sir Dee might not have the courage to play for his team again. Mixed feelings but maybe with time, they will get the hang of it.

After her decision, yesterday was tough. Felt some type of way. Feels it was the smartest decision for her game though. She is getting stronger at handling things. Too much emotions especially as concerns the videos they had to watch.

She has never considered quitting the show.

Gedoni feels good. Lots of positive energy. Directional energy and not scalar energy. Energy that is going somewhere.

In preparation for the heritage task, everything is going fine. They have a blueprint of what they need to do. Preparations in top gear.

Happy Seyi retained his title. If it was not Seyi, it would have been Cindy and for either, a first would have been recorded. He suspects that Seyi was able to see though. But happy for Seyi overall. Good challenge! His legs actually wobbled.

He did not enjoy the nomination challenge. Felt like he lost a hand to save a leg. Bittersweet. Felt like they nominated the other team and they still had to put up a member of their team. In short it was bitter with no sweet.

If he had power, he would save Khafi and Joe. Not being nominated feels like has been given two more weeks to re-discover himself. Took him a while to get out of his “unplanned” shell. Now he is learning more and getting more confident in himself. Discovering new things about himself - acting, narrating and acts of kindness.

Diane picked the person she least connected with and switched with someone she most connected with. They feel she could have picked someone stronger who has a higher chance of coming back but she did all she could.

He did consider quitting the show two weeks ago but right now, he is enjoying his self and will not consider quitting.

Hopes biggie considers giving them extra time to present the show...

Tacha feels fine.

In preparation for task, they are done with scripting, they have started beans and have started allocating roles.

She did not enjoy the nomination task but everybody tried their best. She is hoping next week will be better.

She has no new feelings about being nominated. It’s draining cos she has to come to the diary room on Sunday. It is what it is since Icons lost on Monday.

Since it was 9 HM that got to vie for the HoH, so Seyi’s chances were high. It is cool and she is happy for him.

She knew Diane would save Sir Dee because they are close. Her putting in of Joe was very very cool because he had been stepping on people’s toes. She had only a few seconds but did what she had to do. Good that she saved my paddy.

People are in their feelings because of pressure. Many arguments about roles which is irritating as they don’t have time. For being in the house is a major role already so vieing for queen role is just irritating. She is fine getting any role and everybody will be fine las las. They are in the house for 60M so they have to play the game.

Biggie say this is one of the interesting conversations they have ever had. Tacha says its because she is in a good mood. Then says she is always in a good mood.

Elozonam feels better than he did yesterday.

House waiting on screen writers to finish writing. Bits of drama here and there.

He is happy with Seyi winning HoH again but would have like Cindy who was an underdog to win.

He did not like yesterday’s nomination because things changed as soo as he came in. Very depressing.

If given an opportunity, he would save himself and Cindy. Cindy hasn’t really put herself out there the way she would like to. She is reserved. Like a flower yet to blossom. She is quiet just like him. She doesn’t quite fit in yet.

It does not feel good to be nominated but it is better than if someone nominated him. He feels he just got here so it is too soon to be up.

Being very honest, he thinks Diane made a sound choice in her veto. Though they are close and he felt some type of way, he thinks her choices were strategic.

After biggie addressed the HM’s situations, he thinks everybody is trying to be careful, walking on eggshells.

Biggie’s secret task: The secret can be shared with only housemate. Biggie is going to “clean up” the housemate’s bet Naija coins. Each housemate will lose at least half of their money if at least 3 people do not spend up to 1000 coins.

Please can I get your perspective of the whole drama?

I have fluctuated quite a bit on this one cos it’s complicated;-

I think the main characters - Khafi, Seyi and Veneta are all fighting a deeper fight than what we are seeing. All the hullabaloo because of role assignment was not necessary.

Khafi is pissed at Venita for being close to Gedoni and has decided to subtly undermine Venita any opportunity she gets.

Venita is feeling very raw about becoming known as the breaker of relationships. She thinks Khafi is irritated by her but she can not afford to leave Gedoni alone as a matter of pride since she failed spectacularly with Frodd and Merike will just not let anyone in.

Seyi is still very upset about Khafi’s diva ways during their task and is using opportunity to try to ‘tutor’ Khafi.

All other players are addendum.. the addendums are in two parts. Those caught in between at least two of the feuding parties (Josef, Mercy, Gedoni and Tacha) and those who have no vested interest but are analysing the quarrel (Shola, Frodd)
