I'm glad you know this. Nigeria is a federation that has adopted the formula of going to the center to collect handouts every month. Mind you, the govt investment strategy since 1918 till date has favoured LAGOS. If Lagos weren't the capital during that period, I'm sure it won't have gotten the massive FG investment it got.

So for me, Nigeria needs to manage the current sharing formula until most states catch-up, otherwise we might be creating unhealthy rivalry in the system.

If you make Bornu the capital of Nigeria, in few years time, you'd witness massive development. This is my point.

I agree with you to a very large extent, except for the latter part you teach your kids to retaliate.

Retaliation doesn't make one strong, it only shows our unpredictable temperament. I will always teach my child to avoid trouble, it does no one any good.

There's always an authority to report to when you're bullied. Most times the consequences of retaliation might consume ones life. Avoiding trouble, especially throuvh physical combat is the easiest route to a peaceful life.

There are many reasons why coke is expensive in some countries and why they are cheaper in another and also why they taste differently.

Why are they expensive. Production cost, tax and also logistics cost( moving them from one place to another) one important stuff is foreign exchange fluctuation when importing the base ingredients.

A 50cl coke cost around 300 naira in Canada like you write down 2.49( 400 naira)

It is obvious that cost of production will be higher in Canada than in Nigeria, wages are also lower in Nigeria.

Also the only reason coke taste differently in Canada and Nigeria is simple. Most times, they make sure to adapt to the local taste.

The base ingredients are the same but they also try to adapt to our loca taste in terms of sweetness. Making it too sweet here in Nigeria might make them lose sales while in another country if it is not sweet they won't buy it.

It is the same way KFC in New York will have different taste from the one in Japan.
