sleek214: Obidients should drop this elusive. Obi can't defeat Tinubu on a 2 horse race. Nobody can convince the north to vote for Obi over Tinubu. Tinubu looking for an easy election victory in 2027 by sending his foot soldiers to push for Obi ticket. Obi CAN NOT DEFEAT TINUBU.... Only Atiku Can defeat Tinubu with Obi not being on the ballot. All three on the ballot, Tinubu wins. Tinubu's govt for 4yrs is enough conviction for Northerners to vote against him. I'm finding it extremely daunting to find just one area of our national life to support Tinubu on. Power? Infrastructure? National unity? Agriculture? Economy? Standard of living? Employment? It's a complete emptiness. Nothing to campaign on. |

savcy: Well, their loss is our gain. I don't know how the insurance system in that industry works, but shouldn't it take care of circumstances like this? Nigeria is a tricky place. Policies are made without regard or concern about its effects. Well, the marketers can use profit from its sudden rise for the month or so as cushion. The industry is volatile, they should have back up plans by now. Nigeria happens to everyone, regardless of how little. and who told you they will bear any loss? No filling station in Nigeria will take a penny loss. The consumers will bear it all. The greatest irony in this is that when the price goes up, they adjust it immediately to make more gains. |

A neighbouring country Russia because of their might, matched into your country to protect some Russian minority group, took Cremia and Ukraine is the aggressor? If Ukraine was a NATO member, Russian would not have dared to attack. Why are some people in love with dictators? in all of this, I blame Ukraine. This will ọpen another chapter in international discus, as no nation will ever want to depend on an ally for her protection. I see Germany building her nuclear weapon soon, Japan, South Korea will follow too. America has failed her allies the biggest time they needed her. Ukraine signed a treaty with US and Russia not to go into nuclear, with the assurance there won't be future Russian invasion, today they're licking their wounds. |

Gerrard59: So who sponsors UGM? How can insecurity continue unabated if there is no political force behind it?
Where have you condemned the incessant incursion of people farmlands and communities by Fulani herdsmen?
Welcome to the club. that is a question I can't answer. But I'm certain the insecurities in the South East has nothing to do with the govt. Our youths should get themselves engaged in productive activities and leave criminality. The govt might show little or no concern if you blow-up Ur region, but I'm certain govt has no hand in it. 1 in every 10boys in Nigeria is into yahoo, cultism etc, why won't there be insecurity? Nnamdi Kanu's style of advocacy birthed the violence in the South East. There are better ways of clamouring for inclusion and common responsibility, his methodology is disastrous. Our senators and house of reps members, what are they doing? A walkout of the dealings in the national assembly and an agreement not to return unless we discuss Nigeria and agree on a common goal for the benefit of all Nigerians will achieve much more. But they blv in primitive accumulation. |

Federal government's sponsored insecurity since Buhari's tenure is the biggest challenge Igbos have now. Unfortunately some of our wasted Igbo youths are helping them to achieve their devilish plans of destabilizing Southeast and turning it to another Borno if you don't stop this mentality the south East won't be peaceful. Is unknown gunmen sponsored by the govt? Say the truth when need be. Years ago I'm a lover of one Nigeria, but believe, my understanding of Nigeria now is that of pity. This country stinks of tribalism, ethnicism and individualism. Buhari's appointment was lopsided, but this Tinubu's is the worst I've ever seen in a plural state. It's a pity the legacy of OBJ and the military era has been destroyed completely. |
