ipobcannibals: Soludo is only playing politics with insecurity. Ask yourself, why he chose to visit hunchback bingo, namadi cownu in dss dungeon after he became governor in 2021? Why was he asking for the release of the cannibal/terrorist cownu? Why didn’t he go after the ipob terrorist since 2021, before Anambra became a ipob terrorist haven? Soludo is only acting now because his re-election is around the corner and after he wins again, he would allow ipob cannibals to continue eating Igbo flesh and drinking their blood. Infact, Soludo is an ipob member. President Tinubu should steer clear of the situation in the SE,,,infact all security formations should be withdrawn from the SE and let the Igbos enjoy their biaflaud you talk too much. |

Track her last location and take it from there.
There's no security in this country, only extortionists funny enough 90% of the crime commited in Nigeria leave good traces for police to investigate. But your police is as good as the society. |

ALTERNATEID: El-Rufai crossed the line by attacking Nuhu Ribadu, his long time friend and Muslim brother. Ribadu never attacked him or speak negatively of him. When El-Rufai was on exile during the Jonathan administration, it was Nuhu Ribadu who used his closeness with Jonathan to stop all cases against him which paved the way for his return to Nigeria to join the APC movement.
Tinubu was out of political office for 16 years without fighting anybody. El-Rufai must understand that he can't always be in political office every time. Nigeria belongs to everyone ad not few folks like him who are behaving like they can't survive out of office. without El Rufai, Tinubu won't be president today. He single-handedly gave him Northern votes. 2027 will shock Tinubu, as all these names can't get him votes. Even when Buhari's body language doesn't show full support for Tinubu, it was Rufai that ganged in support of Tinubu, and ensured Northern govs follow same route.. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trade War: Canada, Mexico & China Vow Retaliatory Moves Over Trump's Tariffs by Mandate1: 12:20pm On Feb 02, 2025 |
RandomFellow: No trade war? July 2018 when Trump placed a 25% tariff on Chinese ($34B) imports, China responded by slamming her own 25% tariff on US ($50B) agricultural imports (from an initial 3%). You know what it means?
US was targeting machineries and electronics (non-perishable goods), China was targeting agricultural, perishable goods! Chinese buyers opted for countries with smaller tariffs (Brazil, Argentina; for their Soybeans imports), while US still had to buy the Chinese goods. Guess who ended up paying the 25% tariff... The American people! Guess who's citizens committed suicide... American farmers! Guess who used $25B to bail their farmers... US!
The biggest winners is the alternative country from whom I can buy your products! (Brazil and Argentina in my previous story).
US just recently abandoned OPEC crude for Venezuela. Venezuela is the winner in this case. Now, that's what we call trade wars!!! so how come did the US economy grow under Trump? We all know the American economy grew under him and more jobs were created |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trade War: Canada, Mexico & China Vow Retaliatory Moves Over Trump's Tariffs by Mandate1: 12:14pm On Feb 02, 2025 |
tctrills: Not really. Both nations need the American market more than America needs them. And both economies are way too small to shake the US. When you export products that are not unique or spectacular, you have zero control over the market but when you are the world's biggest market, you control everything too many willing sellers of the commodities, and America is the major buyer of their produce. What Canada supplies to the US can be bought somewhere else and refined in US. |

helinues: Trump is only looking for negotiation you're smart. Trump in the real sense doesn't want economic warfare. He wants the trade agreements between them to be renegotiated to benefit America better. As it stands, America is importing almost everything from these countries and getting huge trade deficit. |

chrisdstar: Trump has been moving like someone that wants to start a world war since he was sworn in. When he's done fighting with all the US allies, he'll understand that one man can't stand alone. By the time all these nations resolve to start trading in their local currencies like BRIC and seeking China as an alternative, Trump would have succeeded in making China the Economic capital of the world and trust me, that's a position China will never give up easily. the world will rather wait for a predictable America in the next 4yrs, than follow China. China cares about no one but herself. |

Trump wants fair trade and balance in trade. If he does fight now, Americans will become consumers like Nigerians in the next decade. truth is, most of this countries are gaming America's benevolence. China is crook. See what they av done to Africa. They will neva invest real businesses here, but will rather sell cheap substandard goods to us. |

free2ryhme: John Obi Mikel’s criticism of Chelsea’s Robert Sanchez and Nicolas Jackson feels a bit harsh, especially since he once played for the club and had his own share of underwhelming performances. While his points about needing upgrades might be valid, constantly bashing current players isn’t helpful. Instead of just pointing out flaws, he could offer constructive advice or support. After all, he knows firsthand the pressure of playing for Chelsea. A little empathy and encouragement might go a long way in helping these players improve and regain confidence. u need to watch Jackson play, you'll dislike him. Dude lacks the striker instinct. |

GBTYO: Geographically but not culturally.
The Niger Delta can be limited based on the Niger Delta drainage basin which Cross River and Edo are not part of but includes states like Imo and Abia in the SE.
Culturally speaking the Niger Delta area consists of the 6 SS geopolitical zones.
When I refer to the Niger Delta , I refer to the cultural area known as SS.
Abia and Imo no join. you're the one differentiating this based on what you think and not what is. Niger Delta in Nigeria refers to the oil producing states. |

Aside the huge VAT surplus you get that isn't generated from your state's, you also get federal funded projects and benefit from oil receipts from majorly SS states.
The north is the undisputed food basket not only in Nigeria but West and Central Africa.
Now imagine you are in your Biafra tax haven, how will you pay for food imports from northern Nigeria ?
Are you aware that agriculture which the north dominates contributes hugely to our GDP and sustainable growth sector ?
