it's actually a long story.. but I don't buy things on credit. And my feeding allowance in a month is not up to 20k... .. so if I cook soup stew using like 2k, I'll use it for like 4 days, I'll also turn garri and use the stew to eat it... and I only eat twice a day, sometimes once... so u have to think outside the box... sometimes during harvest time, we have what we called sweet melon here, u can get 5 pieces for 500 naira.. u can eat 1 in the morning and one in the afternoon.. so the 5 pieces will serve u for 2 days... that's 250 per day...

You removed subsidy. What measures did you put in place before you removed it? If T-pain had a plan he would have at least put some measures in place to curtail they effects on the masses before announcing it's removal. You don't just do something without planning for it. Its just like saying I want to visit Canada. Will you just teleport to Canada. You need to plan for the trip, get your visa, arrange for accomodation, get money for expenses etc. T-pain just made announcement without planning for it. That's why his administration became a disaster from day 1.

Secondly he floated naira. What plans did you make for contingency? You just banked on a foolish experiment knowing fully well that there were other measures in place to strengthen the naira. NIGERIANS lived a much better life under the military era.
Education, Health, Security, Economy just name it.
Many of the major refinery's and projects including the Iconic third mainland bridge, NNPC towers, Aso Rock Villa, 2ND Niger Bridge General Hospitals etc. in Nigeria that stood the test of time were built by the military government.
And the construction of many of this projects mentioned above were completed timely.
The military literally turned Abuja filled with bushes and forests into a construction site.
No matter how we deny it, history never lies...almost all infrastructures in Nigeria were built by the military.
Democracy is good.
But in the case of Nigeria, our democracy have caused us more harm than good.

Rubbish. I never said what you claimed above. Tinubu of course engaged in politics of self-interest. He is ambitious and wanted to be President. It is only if you are a child you will not accept politicians plan and strategize worldwide. Therefore nothing wrong with Tinubu supporting Buhari in hope of benefiting politically later.

Yet, like most APC chieftain, he expected Buhari to work with APC leaders for the benefit of Nigeria. Tinubu is progressive and has led Lagos to greatness. If you want to deny reality then you can pretend such a leader would support Buhari fully aware he would be a disaster.

Some of what Tinubu is doing isn't necessarily wrong for the long term health of Nigeria. The problem is in the speed of the enactment of those policies and in so not understanding people will suffer in the interim. It's a callous disregard for the average Nigerian who is suffering.

There could have been a balance and a larger focus on alleviating some of the suffering.

We needed someone focused more on carrying out good policy at a whole of society level. Obi would have been the better option in that election. He would have done similar things but probably at a different pace with more of a focus on getting a good balance.

Sometimes people need to be hit in the face hard to see certain truths. Hopefully in a few years people would have learned their lesson. Nigeria is a mess. I fear for the country.
