I expected to see an agreed fuel price from Dangote, which the govt will sell to Nigerians, this was deliberately neglected. So what other magic will the youth conference do?

Cardoso is not the problem. He inherited huge problems. The naira was artificially propped up under the last administration - the present one simply removed the levees and the dams broke. How do you explain all those billions being owed to foreign companies while lying to the world we had money in foreign reserves? Cardoso simply paid those money, squeezing dollar of out of the economy in the process. It was this or risk losing those companies and kissing FDI bye bye. Nigeria’s inflation is cost push and not money push,the so called excess liquidity is only in very few hands.

Hike in petrol price,exchange rate and transportation costs,are the cause of Nigeria’s inflation,not excess liquidity!

An undeveloped economy like Nigeria, needs extra ordinary high level of productivity powered by very low cost of capital(interest rate) within global average.
