mrlaw93:Federal Character. Quota system. In Imo state, hundreds of thousands can't get to university because of lack of chances. When they say one Nigeria is a fraud, a zoo, not fit to exist, needs to be dissolved - some people go de vex. |
todaynewsreview:Nearly half of Yoruba are Muslims, so what do you expect from them? |
jonaifame22:Why yo de cheer him? Even you who no fit hit more than twice a week, you are now cheering the man to death, abi? how can a man get four rounds of sex a night? Won't the man die very soon? Women wicked o!!!! |
Abagworo:Abagworo, That Paper packaging Industry is along this Old Owerri Road in Orlu. This road was scrapped, abandoned non-motorable by Okorocha government since 2012. Perhaps those Chinese shall build the about 6km road, while in the state capital, Okorocha govt asphalts 8 lane streets and puts more money to decorate the top with metal fittings.
|
Abagworo:How does Orlu connect here, except by senatorial zone? A private university hardly benefits the village it is located on. You purposely brought in Chino to spam the thread when you started mentioning Anambra ULASI. |
Okorocha's Hero's bridge where there is no water in Owerri, and colonial bridge across Urashi river in Ideato south lga. Abagworo, you know where the bridge is, stop pretending.
|
Abagworo:Abagworo says the bridge is fine. Compare it with the Hero's bridge for fun which Okorocha built where there is no water in the state capital. Money used by Okorocha in decorating top of asphalted roads in the state capital could have gone a long way to repair the bridge. But pupil politician Okorocha is building and decorating only the state capital with the forlorn hope it would make him easily seen to be taken for a performing governor fit to become president of Nigeria in future.
|
Let Okorocha ride his bicycle across this dilapidated bridge on Urashi river in Ugbelle, Ideato South lga; let's see how these kids on the pix shall cheer him. The bridge joins many communities. Previous state govts were finishing work on the road preparing to build the bridge before Okorocha won election.

ujoatu:Who owns this Eastern Palm University in Gov. Okorocha's hometown? Until we are told, until the state legislature enacts laws establishing the University as wholly state government owned... Last year, while receiving license for Eastern Palm University, Okorocha told National Universities Commission that Eastern Palm University "is my 12 years dream come true." Is Eastern Palm University different from Rochas Foundation University long dreamed of by Rochas Okorocha? |
snezBaba:You and Owelle himself don't even know why people from this part of the country ejaculate against him. Owelle abandoned rest of his state outside the capital to decay, as he builds projects of his government only in the state capital, spends the allocation of the state and its 27 lgas in building only in his state capital. In the process, he satisfies only a tiny percentage of Imo people - indigenes of the state capital. So, whatever he builds in the state capital, the majority who he denied basic infrastructure ejaculate against him. He listens to the cheers of the indigenes of the state capital and mistakes the cheerers for majority cheering him. |
Loooool, let Owelle go ride his bicycle in Orlu or Okigwe areas (not in Owerri or in Ogboko) and see how he shall be treated. Owelle reduced himself to become governor of the state capital where he builds his fancy projects to be easily seen so that he can be recommended for president. He abandoned areas outside the state capital to decay, as he builds his dream Owerri Mega City with 8 lane streets and road tunnels and flyovers where roundabouts would have been okay in the city centre. |
Only a brilliant president can appoint a Harvard University Graduate and Former World Bank Boss as his Economy Minister, because the president knows he can stand the Harvard Graduate toe to toe. Show me your friend, I will tell you who you are. NEPA Certificate president can only afford to appoint a London backyard University graduate without well-heeled employment experience as Economy Minister. Overnight, Naira crumbled in value. Overnight, cost of cement increased by N1000. Overnight, prices skyrocketed in Nigeria under Buhari government. It is because of poor management of the economy. . |
Horus:EVIDENCE PLEASEEEEEEEE!! NOT STILL RUMOR FROM A COCONUT HEAD FURTHER DEMENTED BY LAI MOHAMED AND LAMIDO SANUSI'S PROPAGANDA; PROPAGANDA TO ENHANCE POWER SHIFT TO NORTH. THE LAST TIME I CHECKED THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE DICTIONARY, STEALING HAD DIFFERENT MEANING FROM CORRUPTION. |
But Jonathan FAILED Nigerians. If Jonathan were to be Obasanjo in 2015, Buhari could not have smelled Aso Rock. Jonathan ought to have known that Buhari has no O'Level, did not qualify for presidential election if not for Prof. Jega who was poised for power to the north. If Jonathan had removed Jega, as many people pleaded with him to do, Nigerians won't be having this suffering today. Nigeria's democracy would not have reversed many decades back as it is now. Jonathan FAILED Nigerians. He said he felt like in a cage all the years he was in govt house. He chickened out in 2015. |
Woooow. When Oga Dickson goes to northern Nigeria, he shall enjoy air-conditioning trains on modern standard-gauge rail lines which cost Nigeria $1.09 billion and still rising - the first ever in Nigeria. Those elders of the southsouth who traveled to Kaduna in 1967 and begged northern governor, Hassan Katsina, to beg HoS, Gowon, to cut off non-Igbo areas from Biafra; after their journey, Cross Rivers and Rivers state were created and greatly scuttled Biafra ---- those elders were most apolitical; they could not see far. |
Costello559:You don't have zoo in UNIZIK? You should have trapped the python and donate it, or sell it, to UNIZIK zoo. Instead of UNIZIK zoo keepers to spend huge sums of money to buy python for the zoo. |
berrystunn:In the civilized world, it is like passing through university before one can finish and pass the course and exam for truck driving. Not only that, once you get the lic3ense, you are routinely trained every two to three years to upgrade. But no true government in Nigeria. Government in Nigeria is only to harness and share natural resources, this is because of a bogeyman political structure under a dysfunctional unitary govt system. Abokiiis from north refuse to sign onto restructuring the polity, because Abokkis derive economic and political advantages from the dead system. Human lives waste like this in Nigeria on a daily basis. |
bluecircle470:which kin limitation to Nigerian news? Pls don't hide the fact: there is no country like Nigeria where people die frequently like rats, except Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria, Yemen. |
chibuzorAbia: |
Eye sore from a country of tears and blood. If this happened in a civilized country, the outrage and inquest as to how and why it happened would have reached sky level. But in Nigeria, trucks without brakes ply the road, while there is corrupt VIOffices everywhere. Drunk drivers drive vehicles. You can be driving on a one way road, but suddenly a lorry with all the speed drives forth toward you. Even road safety and police checkpoints provoke accidents like this. Tufiakwa. Godforsaken country. May their souls rest in peace. |
dragonking3:You needed to remember that the SW indigenes are nearly equally divided between Muslims and non Muslim groups. The Muslim group can't imagine being in a separate country without the far north. |
Nigeriadondie:You wrote sense. But non Igbo groups in the Nigerdelta are not being asked by Igbos to join Biafra. Elders of non-Igbo groups in the south south don't seem to have understood that divided from the Igbo, they lose loads from Nigeria. Igbo plays human shields for the south south. Those elders in the south south went to Kaduna in 1967 and begged Northern Nigeria governor. Hassan Katsina to plead with Gowon to carve out non Igbo groups from Biafra. Immediately after, Cross Rivers and Rivers States were created out of Biafra. That scuttled Biafra to a large extent. Immediately after, northern soldiers and businessmen colonized oil wells in the Niger delta. Worse, the environment of the oil producing areas in the south south were polluted. Those BIg men from the south south mostly live in Abuja these days. Igbos must not be pleading with the non Igbo groups from the south south to join Biafra. They can remain with Nigeria if they choose to. |
enny09:Southern politicians are still enjoying the crumbs from the tables of Arewa politicians. So the Nigeria which Arewa soldiers recreated its political structure and supervised the constitution while carrying AK47 rifles and breathing on the necks of the drafters of the constitution remains indivisible, according to Arewa. |
Opakan2:Which union you say e remain small before it ends? Nigeria union? How small e remain? Crude oil is not finishing up soon in the old eastern region. So how can the union end soon? Good Morning. Until the Southwest understands that oil or no oil, Odududuwa Republic should be better off for development of the Southwest.... |
Jokerman:Asiwaju and OBJ must form another NADECO- like front to wrestle political power from Arewa this time. Na today? Fool me once, na my mistake; fool me many times, I be Mugu. |
OMG. The IG has rubbed more salt on injury. What does the IG mean by crime has no identity? So na only Yoruba fought and committed criminal offence in Ile-Ife? I rushed to read this with the hope of getting reconciliation tone from the IG, but .... |
KINGOFTHEEAST:Commot biko, you are not from Orlu by talking about Rochas good works in Orlu. Common urban roads and drainage which former Imo governor Ikwechegh started in Orlu, Rochas couldn't finish. Rochas loves City. Imo state could have gotten another big city if Rochas completed even half of the Amadi Ikwechegh roads in Orlu. |
SalamRushdie:Next presidential election, Fulani presidential candidate shall win Benue states. It has been tested tradition. Omenka over to you. |
After about one month's calm in Nigeria as the president was abroad. Is Omenka among the killed? I pray not. Because Omenka's anti-Igbo rants are entertaining. RIP to the killed. One Nigeria a cursed country where ethnic hatred makes ethnic groups killed their fellow country people like cockroaches; one Nigeria continues for the sake of far northern Nigeria. |
Okorocha government projects in Okigwe: 1: A new Tertiary Institution (College of Education ) 2, A new IMSU Campus for Engineering. 3, Five -Star Princess Hotel yet to be completed 4, Okigwe Sports Stadium. 5, Okigwe urban roads enlargement. 6, Lock-up Shops. Okorocha government projects in Orlu: 1; A School of Hygiene (three mini blocks). 2, Dual carriageway of Ihioma road, Bank Road, Enugu road and Owus Avenue. Too many other roads scratched were abandoned and make people suffer more than before. 3, Lock-up shops. Mgbidi Regional Market - nothing heard after all the fanfare - Oguta Maritime university - nothing heard after - if there are big developments in these two, Abagworo would have shown here. Okorocha govt idn't even start the five star Prince Hotel it propsed for Orlu. Okorocha partly destroyed Orlu stadium, couldn't go halfway with the new one started. He now thinks of relocating IMSUTH from Orlu to Owerri. Mind you, of all the 27 lgas in Imo, Okorocha collected highest number of votes in Orlu lga in 2011, Ohakim won all Okigwe in 2011. ....and write without being insulting, else, don't reply me again. RareDiamond: |
It's a question of a man getting motivations for better things in life. PMB started earning money from Nigeria right from his early youth. Many people who earned less than PMB have cottage or bigger industries that can employ large number of Nigerians. If PMB has had any drive to strive for modernization in life, he must not be having such type of furniture at home. It is the same spirit of lack of motivation for bettering the lives of others which PMB has as he rules Nigeria, which he also adopted as a military HoS in the 1980s when the economy and morale of Nigerians went to the highest liow ever. |
But those upholstery must be among the best in Daura |
