AirFireEarthH20:Because El-Rufai shall make Osinbajo president when Baba Bubu is no more. So El-Rufai must be Yoruba friend for now. That is political Shofischiticachion for the most Shofischicated tribe in the world. |
ITT-MKO: Nigeria's landline telephone services were programmed to fail - from beginning. Telephone wires tied on bamboo trees.they were like cobwebs in the cities. Oyibo did not do their own like that. Today, Oyibo can't do without land telephone because it is most effective. Billions of Naira wasted on NITEL, we now use toys - mobile phones. |
ITT: who can fully explain it? |
So Gov. Okorocha knew that state govt can construct federal projects and ask fed. govt for refunds? Since Okorocha became governor, the Imo state Section of Ihialla-Orlu Federal road crumbled, nearly impassable. FERMA is only on repair, not reconstruction, job now. For six years, the failed road paralyzed business in lgas of Orsu, Orlu, Ideators, Njaba, Nkwerre, Nwangele, etc, - more than 2.5 million people rendered useless. Orlu goes to Onitsha, not to Owerri, for business Now our governor is building federal airport. How NOT to govern a state. |
2kass:Owerrians and the present governor of Imo state have a joint dream: to make Owerri look like London while the rest of Imo state look like Somalia. Owerrians convinced the Imo governor Okorocha: until Imo gets a " befitting state capital," to compete with other Mega Cities of the world, the rest of Imo state must wait. Okorocha bought it, five years going, nearly 90% of the state's federal allocations have gone to demolishing old structures and rebuilding in Owerri; the rest of Imo state outside Owerri looks like abandoned property, except for a few scratches here and there. |
Opakan2:Nigeria functions like this: now that Al-Mustapha formed a political party, Igbo and Yoruba politicians shall now begin to outsmart one another over who shall occupy what position under the party with Al-Mustapha as presidential candidate. The north wants to retain apex political power in order to be able to sustain the existing political structure and governance system that favour only north. So on presidential election day, Al-Mustapha shall score the mandatory 25% of votes in the 19 northern states and in 5 other southern states to win to become president. But no other southern presidential candidate, not even a Bill Clinton or Barack Obama, from the south of Nigeria can win Al-Mustapha or even a goat from the north of Nigeria in presidential election, unless the north is tired of ruling. Some group in southern Nigeria is very apolitical. Instead of bonding with the south together to influence north to agree to restructuring Nigeria politically, the group only schemes for how to placate the north, so that north can pass the baton of power to the group many years after north is tired of ruling Nigeria. |
So long as Yoruba and Igbo can't cooperate to either restructure Nigeria politically or break away from dysfunctional Nigeria, the Al Mustaphas, Buharis, Abachas, etc., from the north shall continue to citculate and rule the Yoruba and Igbo professors, engineers, lawyers and accountants and name it PhDs in southern Nigeria. Northern soldiers wrongly used land mass as criterion and proliferated twenty states in one northern region, but allowed only seventeen states in two southern regions. North draws political over-representation from the twenty states to lord it over southern politicians in Nigeria's political process. |
JesusChrist666:Anti-Christ. Ur chosen name on NL is JesusChrist666. If someone did that name combination with your Mohmd, you should have gone for the person with your S-bommmmmb. Biafrans say they no longer want to share one country with your sort, why are you running mad about that? |
JesusChrist666:Crude oil patriot of one indivisible Nigeria, how market? Charlie the 60 year old boy is not known in his native county. |
Akshow:Only children born yesterday would wait for you to use Nigerian government instruments to continue to subject them to quasi-second class citizens status in Nigeria; drive your cattle and your religion rough over their land in a bid to extend your Caliphate to envelop all of Nigeria. |
Who wants a 60 years old boy from Oguta to support Biafra? Charly the Boy does not understand the issues surrounding renewed agitation for Biafra, take the fact to the bank. Does Charly have any regard for his Oguta? Not sure he has ever organized his endless fun fares in his native Oguta nor anywhere in Igboland. He organizes between Lagos and Abuja. If this forever boy could have steered clear of Biafra talk. |
johnstar:Even passports to leave the zoo are most difficult to get these days. They say no paper for passports. Even Nigerians abroad with expired passports are affected, frustrated. Nigeria is a hell hole. |
askibee:Ok now, can you tell president Buhari to abolish social media in Nigeria? It's believed some northern extremists are contemplating banning social media in Nigeria in order to deeply entrench northern control of Nigeria. Vegetables traders in Togo and Benin Republic were using mobile phones during the Abacha and Abdusalam military govts, but oil-rich Nigeria could not provide mobile phone technology to Nigeria, not until Obasanjo became president. |
Those policemen MUST have worked in Igboland where police can easily brand citizens as Biafra agitators and execute the citizens after collecting their belongings. Baba's police are becoming more brutal in the south south after Avengers militants stopped. Even Niger delta school children in uniform are shown in You Tube videos being pushed by soldiers into dirty rivers. |
Even Somalia Police Force or Police force of a Banana Republic can within hours establish who owned the recovered cash. We are talking about huge amount of cash here which cannot be moved easily without trace. Which kain committee does the presidency want to establish who committed a criminal offense of keeping large volumes of cash outside a bank? Outrageous, whoever trustworthy leader used a presidential committee to hunt down criminals? |
14 days from now, we are likely to be told that Goodluck or Patience Jonathan authorized, or even owned, the recovered money. Where is Lai, why was Lai not included in the investigation panel? |
Jabioro:@lightblazingnow, the Op This voice, perhaps from the southwest region, may sound like a Simpleton's voice, but it summarizes the beliefs of many, perhaps most of Nigerians, from the south today. |
lightblazingnow:Practically wasted effort of your here. |
Chikeluba25:As in Orlu-Ideato area where Gov. Okorocha built dual carriage ways without first completing the urban drainage system started by former Gov. Ikwechegh. The dual carriage way is now at the mercy of a few more years flood. The axis has had road cave-ins since Adam. |
Beautiful. At least Anambra state has a caring governor who is concerned over these ecological problems. Governor of Imo state can't even finish an urban drainage system started by former governors in the second most populated city in the state. This Imo governor is only after building his fanciful projects in the state capital so that people can easily see them and recommend him for president of Nigeria. |
Little wonder the Senate has been rejecting President Buhari's nomination for EFCC Chair. What on earth is the EFCC doing that it could not establish the owner of a flat in Lagos nd the owner of money stashed away in the flat? Even a most Leprous Police Formation in a Banana Republic can easily find out these facts in a 24 hour period. This govt is hoarding truth from Nigerians. |
seguno2:Fight against corruption by this government is dead on arrival. Anyhow, it was Buhari who said that Abacha was not corrupt, even as Abacha's loot were being repatriated to Nigeria. |
ndcide:It is obvious that someone high in this govt owns the money. With this court judgement, no body can claim ownership of the money again. The man in govt who owns the money can't go to claim the money either. |
successmatters:Even the police in failed Somalia can easily establish who owned the flat where the money was found. APC is a paper tiger, hoarding the truth from Nigerians. |
Unless a Muslim from the southwest, no southerner can beat a northerner in Nigeria's presidential election. |
Raphaelmary:Summary for lousy peeps: Northern Nigeria made Nigeria a fraudulent country. Nigeria was restructured politically by northern Nigeria using northern soldiers to proliferate 20 new states and hundreds of lgas in the north, but allowed only 17 states and lesser number of lgas in the two southern regions. Two gave rise to 17, but one gave rise to 20. Fraud; because land mass is never used as criterion in other federal countries to determine number of new federal units and where they shall be located. At the end of state creation by Abacha, there should have been more states and lgas in the two southern regions, than in one northern region. Northern Nigeria also used its soldiers to supervise a constitution which is imposed upon Nigeria to legitimize the fraudulent political structure which economically and politically empowers northern Nigeria over the south. It is no more possible to amend the constitution and fraudulent political structure, because northern Nigeria draws overwhelming political over-representation from the 20 states in Nigeria's political process, including the NASS. Any region outside northern Nigeria must find its way to leave One Nigeria. |
Abagworo:Yes, the contradictions in Nigeria tailored to stunt economic emancipation of the southsouth and southeast are many. Those contradictions cannot be erased in Nigeria's National Assembly due to obvious and deliberate political under-representation of the population of the southeast and southsouth in Nigeria's political process, including in the National Assembly. The political under-representation was created by northern Nigeria who used its soldiers to wrongly use land mass as criterion and proliferated 20 new federal states in one northern region, but allowed only 17 states in two southern regions. There should have been more states and local govt areas in the two southern regions than in one northern region when Abacha created the last set of states. Southsouth and Southeast Summit needs to understand that in this democratic experiment, northern Nigeria cannot yield to losing the political and economic advantages north gained through warfare. Total secession of southsouth and southeast from Nigeria needs to be put on the summit agenda. |
In a twinkle of an eye, who ever has political power can destroy what Economic powers you have acquired, make legislation or take political actions and inaction to dis-empower you. Economic Summit can only bring Pyrrhic Economic Power to the two regions of southeast and southsouth still under Nigeria. Nigeria was politically restructured by northern Nigeria's soldiers to exclude the southsouth and southeast from apex political power positions - unless power by an aberration. Secession from Nigeria is the only instrument for the southeast and southsouth to real Economic empowerment of their peoples. |
ElsonMorali:Even if you sack Saraki, you can't get these remedies we all ask for. In the NASS, Northern Nigeria draws overwhelming political over-representation from the undue 20 new states which northern soldiers scattered all over the north, such that no political restructuring, no devolution of powers, no new constitution except superficial amendment of the least knotty chapters of the constitution can be achieved. If you are a Legislator from the south and asking for these changes above, when you finish your dogonturenchi on the floor of the NASS, there shall be vote. The north which profits from the present system and structure shall win the vote to have the political system, structure and constitution to stay. Only a brawl shall end Nigeria's political quagmire. In that brawl, far north which has only Koran and cattle shall lose all. |
newsynews:Saraki to go so that Nigeria can be worse than Idi Amin's Uganda. You protesters must prepare for your own Autocratic Republic without the east. |
Ovokoo:Before you finish saying one Nigeria, we may even have fuel stations in Biafraland that you put money inside the machine to buy as much fuel as your money could buy. |
ShootToKill:I signed in to say this but surprised you already said same. This least-educated northern Nigeria largely determines who must rule Nigeria at any turn. That is a license to Nigeria failure. North used its soldiers and created 20 new states in the north, and from the states it draws overwhelming political representation to dwarf the south, thus north largely determines what can be in Nigeria and who can rule Nigeria. Guess how we have the first ever standard rail system and three very close international airports in Kaduna, Kano, and Abuja. Sorry, the Yoruba which you lampoon for coming against Biafra secession are mostly the Muslim Yoruba. They, with north want future Islamic Republic of Nigeria including Biafra areas. |
