malali: She’s absolutely right, and dangerously overdue.
Giving patients medications without labeling the drug names is not just unethical—it’s life-threatening. Every human has the right to know what is being introduced into their body.
Unlabeled drugs: • Increase the risk of allergic reactions or drug interactions • Prevent patients from identifying side effects or long-term harm • Block accountability in case of errors or malpractice • Undermine pharmacovigilance and the right to informed consent
A hospital hiding drug identities is treating the patient like a passive object—not a human being.
Medicine without transparency is not healthcare. It’s gambling with lives. I couldn't have listed the possible issues that could be caused by this menace. This one of the issues that everyone should be complaining about if they see it being perpetrated. The culprits need to be dragged on social media until they start losing patronage and change their practice. |

thesicilian: The practice of hiding the name of drugs from patients is dying out though, only a few hospitals stuck in the olden days do that nowadays. Dying out where?? In Mars or Pluto? Abeg let's try and be proactive if we want this practice to die out. Patients should start advocating for themselves and start calling out hospitals/pharmacies that engage in this practice. Maybe then we go begin see small changes. |

So how do we proceed |
Agriculture › Re: Help Me Pepper Farmers by Mandem05: 6:10am On Mar 22, 2025 |
REUBEN010: Will be too hot/spicy to use for sauce. Over here at my location, the stew/sauce prepared by most South Westerners (buka/canteen inclusive) contains 60-70% rodo. If the pepper is too hot, the won't be able to use much and this impacts on the volume and aroma of the sauce.
I wouldn't want to laboriously produce the pepper just to struggle with sales. That's the major reason I prefer producing to satisfy existing demands. I get your point. I have some Carolina Reaper seeds and I would like to collaborate with a pepper farm to see if this can be grown in Nigeria.

Agriculture › Re: Help Me Pepper Farmers by Mandem05: 11:25am On Mar 20, 2025 |
REUBEN010: For me, market determines the variety of crop I cultivate. I prefer cultivating crops that have existing demand in my selected market to avoid stories that touches the kidney and lungs after a successful hectic production. I don't think the growing process of a Carolina Reaper pepper plant would be too different from that of the scotch bonnet pepper that you grow currently. I think if the Carolina Reaper can be successfully grown in Nigeria, there would be a huge demand it. |

Romance › Re: Moderators Please Push To Front Page. I Need Your Advice On This Serious Issue by Mandem05: 7:24pm On Dec 01, 2024 |
Nart1: Good afternoon everyone, I pray you can offer some good advice on an issue bothering me. I've been in a relationship with a lady I care deeply about for months now, and we intend doing our introduction this month. However, I've noticed some behaviors that are causing me concern. She stays in touch frequently with her exes, including one named Attah, who frequently sends her love messages. In fact, they call each other on a daily basis, yet she claims nothing is between them. Although she deletes these messages and uses disappearing chats on all of her chats, I'm uneasy about her communication with them. Whenever I complained she would tell me I am insecure. I've addressed this issue with her multiple times ( more than ten times), but she keeps calling and chatting with them citing the fact that her exes are not enemies. Another issue that bothers me is a text conversation I saw between her and her cousin. The cousin advised her to collect money from four different guys (total strangers) before allowing anything to happen between them. She apologized and attributed this to her past, and I chose to forgive her due to my love for her. Furthermore, there's a guy who's currently asking her out, and she allows him to visit her. She even calls him and demands favors from him. I have asked her to seize communication with him yet she persists and this morning, I mistakenly saw a new month text from the guy referring to her as my love. I've reported my concerns to her mother and she advised her but unfortunately, there's been no change. I love her so much, but the red flags are giving me concern. I'm torn between my feelings and the uncertainty surrounding our relationship. Should I end the relationship or I am only being insecure as she asserted. Run!!!!! Do not make the mistake of marrying this one. In the grand scheme of her life you are plan D, for marriage. She is showing you that she does not respect you at all. What will change if you make the mistake of marrying her |

womaniser: Thanks. Other European countries are literally the same. They either require high tuition or student jobs that can barely keep you afloat. I'm still without my family, living in shared tight hostels and slamming my body everyday for no savings.
Friends and former colleagues in Nigeria today earning #300k self still have a better living, they see their wives and kids everyday, live in standard apartments, drive their own cars and still save at least #100k every month. (They do contributions so I know)
The only upside is if I secure a job. That's where the story changes from here. I just stumbled on this thread while checking out your laptop for sale. My 2 cents. If you can get a scholarship to do your PhD please go for it. Then plot on how to move to Canada legally. |
