Supersymetry: Total eradication of mosquitoes is the only effective way to end malaria, other methods like vaccine can't be reliable because the protozoa will evolve a resistance against it faster than it will against direct chemical approach currently used, there by making the current chemical less effective. Thank you for this information. See ehn make we shine our eyes and ask the question, what do these people have to gain with a malaria vaccine? I hate to be a conspiracy theorist but my take on this unnecessary vaccine is that this may be a way to curb the African population by making our youngest children infertile. The gbege nor go show up until dem reach adulthood and by then the damage would have been done. Please for those who want to abuse me, go read about what was done to African American soldiers in Tuskegee then come back and present a case for the vaccine. |

donphilopus: Many people would cry on this thread today.
First, Buhari is attending today and secondly Yahaya Bello who they initially thought wasn't with the Jagaban is fully in Nasarawa adorning his "1271" cap. The 1271 represents the number of delegate votes the Jagaban himself got during the primaries.
By the grace of God, he's going to defeat all his opponents before 12 noon on election day. I am so glad that the APC presidential candidate has given Nigerians the opportunity to permanently retire him from politics on February 25th. |

Thinkam: I will repeat it no northerner is working against Tinubu, APC failure for 8 yrs is working against Tinubu.
Meanwhile
What's the mentality of yaruba, I want to understand the thought process.
APC failed for 8yrs, yaruba presented a Sick, corrupt, egolomaniac of a drug lord, and are now demanding the support of all Nigerians...
Atleast buhari was slick enough to sell himself as a good muslim, not corrupt, and a security expert, and his VP was poised to be a pastor, educated and versatile in economics and administration.
Whats the selling point of Tinubu and Shettima, they just poured shit inside 5 alive bottle, we all know it's shit, but they want us to believe it's not shit..
Are Nigerians that stupid to them? This sums up the APC ticket for me. On February 25th Nigerians should show the world that we are not stupid. |

koonbey: I was looking for someone to say this.
I honestly don't understand all the hullabaloo about tax tax tax that people say all the time.
It genuinely boggles my mind. Maybe when I'm in the highest tax bracket sha but how I cannot even complain about tax now when everyday I go out I can clearly see the benefits of that tax. Immaculate road systems with multiple smooth-running transportation options (not perfect yhh), free recreational facilities, health, security that I often go to sleep without locking my door, etc etc.
When I was in Naija I had to run gen almost 24/7, had my own borehole for water, built fence so high it's like xxxxxx yard, cannot travel to meet anyone in any city where there's no airport because of fear of kidnapping on the roads...
How on earth will I now be complaining about tax here instead of focusing on working hard to increase my earnings?
Na wah for people o. My conclusion is that people want to enjoy the best but do nothing to contribute toward it. Ogbeni Na so you go talk until dem hit you with beta tax bill for being in the high income tax bracket. One time dem hit one doctor with 15k dollars tax, na so my guy begin hala!! All in all tax is really not a bad idea if it's used responsibly as dey do In most developed countries. |

Shey the 28k no go eery dey enough to live well ni I don Japa from UK a long time ago but from what I know, 28,000 pounds go fit survive a single person in London depending on the part of London you live, it's almost the same with the bigger cities in the UK. 28,000 pounds gross income equates to about 24000 or 25000 after tax, then after you remove other expenses Na him you go know what you can save. |

emperorlaqrin: Honestly for me I learn to ignore insults and abuses on this platform. Fortunately for me I have been doing business with people in the Uk even before migrating as well as have done several business on this platform even when I wanted to sell my car on this platform I know the insults I received but people who have met me on this platform know me. I I try to say things with all sense of honesty.
My post was not actually to deter anyone away from coming to the Uk but was only trying to prepare them of the challenges here most especially those who resort to loan or people who wont have financial means that would atleast last them for a month or two most especially the students who always believe when they come here they will hustle and pay there remaining fees. Guy you have tried to warn who wan hear. For the people that think it's easy I pray that they have the opportunity to travel to the UK. After 6 months of living in the UK you can come and educate us on how you don begin make 3000 pounds a month. I read about how some people are trying to recruit Nigerian teachers to the UK for 28,000 pounds a year salary and I smiled at that. It's only reality that can teach some hard headed people. |

I don't abuse anybody on this forum but how dear you cross your country to come and abuse peo nople in another country as if the ones they are doing in their country is not enough.
Do you even know how many Nigerian guys were burnt alive that year during Xenophobia? i'm sure this kind of girl will follow add patrol to the burning body. My guy I understand your point, and I don't support the xenophobia that has taken place in the past. IMO e still nor reach to abuse person. You're just bitter because I bruised your ego.
Bro, move on. You life doesn't have to revolve around what foreign women say about you, they're just saying nice things about you so that you can keep giving them money.
Being bitter is not good for your health, move on. I like the way you banter without resorting to being outrightly abusive. I'd love to read your book when it's finished. |

Dshocker: Truth is always bitter and Nigerian men has never sat down to ask themselves "how did we get here"...
History and research shows, or proofs that things weren't like this from year 2001 downwards.
Corruption by our politicians sent high level of poverty on her people and Nigerians had to survive either ways, whether by crook or by hook.
A lot of youths diverted their focus into illegal means of making money.
Any illegitimate money made is spent lavishly or carelessly by our men and the girls themselves had to survive, so they exchanged their bodies for money and made it transactional.
Now the abnormal has become the normal and we are complaining.
It will take a very long time for us to erase this mentality. This sums up our situation. So what's the way forward for us? |

Romance › Re: Never Date or Marry A Nigerian Nurse by Mandem05: 5:09am On Sep 22, 2022 |
chachanga: You do realize how bleeped the Nigerian public service is, right?! Apart from bad leadership that everyone cries about when it's convenient, who else would've tanked the public service that if not the workforce?! Would demons have materialized from the nether realms to do it or aliens from Pluto?! No!!!
I was consistently mismanaged in that same useless pit of hell for over 4yrs while still in Naija. I still have friends, relatives and old associates in that town. Funny I and someone were even rehashing these kinds of tales from the past and we still drifted on to how absolutely beastly Nurses and cranky Docs in Nigeria come over here and start behaving. I was sharing experiences with someone in the UK, mind you.
They come out here and shape up, why? 1. Industry Certifications based on training and retraining with ethics, discipline and best practices constantly reiterated all through...
2. Rigid Workplace Standards to adhere to erring more on the side of the humane service delivery than revenue generation models obtainable in Nigeria
3. Constant Monitoring
4. Regulations
5. High Consumer Protection Rights entrenched in and guaranteed by the law. How many dozens of times have we read of cases of mismanaged patients in Nigerian hospitals who never get justice? I was zoned to an evil consultant who abandoned consulting me just because I didn't go doing an expensive diagnostics procedure in a Centre he wrote almost 2 States away. I instantly became his enemy for not going there and netting him a referral commission. And I don't know if they're still running that policy but I wasn't allowed to see another Consultant Surgeon. Once you get sent to their SOpC (Surgical Outpatient Clinic), the Consultant who starts with you must keep being the one seeing you till eternity. They don't swap files. God help you if you go inside the the consulting room to find you're being seen by some Dr. whose girlfriend you took or daughter you screwed, you're doomed! Yeh, that same FMC.
Bad systems do not only empower wicked people, but they also produce more bad eggs and frustrate good people till some of them go rotten. Nigerian systems don't produce saints presently. And you'd probably faint to hear the travails of the truly conscientious saints in there in their bid to stay noble. The rest don't just give a flipping fck.
If we're gonna be talking about this at all, i think we should be having an issues based convo with focus on causes and effects, problems and solutions, rather than sentimentally trying to pick sides on generalization OR wondering how such a fantastically and generally corrupt system couldn't, in most ways, now be peopled by unsavory souls. We should be busy thinking solutions especially if we're still interested in heading back to Naija some day, as change makers.
I think we should be more interested in how the general Nigeria systemic anomalies and endemic corruption effect will not overwhelm their sense of humaneness and professionalism. If they were happy, they wouldn't be the same ones striking up and down. Unhappy people don't generally treat others better than they are. This is on point. Unfortunately a lot of japariees do not see themselves coming back to be "change makers" they would rather remain where they are as second class citizens. |

virginprincess: So because your friend gave your wife money you just concluded that she is cheating on you without any concrete evidence ,nawa for some men sha, anyway, what i see there is that you never trusted your wife from the onset if not why would you just conclude that she's cheating on you . Nne the man is right to be curious o. The fact that neither of them can explain current events means that there is more to the situation. This is not about trusting her from the onset. All the wife needs to do is answer the 2 pertinent questions, which are. 1. Why did his friend send money to her account. 2. Why did she not disclose that his friend sent her money? |
