The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed why rapper, Naira Marley has not been released. On Tuesday Zlatan was released alongside his crew Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses, and Abubakar Musa, leaving only Naira Marley in detention.

EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade in a new statement confirmed that the suspects were released on administrative bail and also revealed why Naira Marley is still in detention .

He said:

“There is overwhelming evidence against Naira Marley; so we can’t afford to release him on administrative bail like Zlatan and the three others.
“That Zlatan has been released does not mean they have been discharged and acquitted. Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be charged to court soon and we will make the charges known in an official statement soon.”

‘Thank you for everything’: Antoine Griezmann confirms he is leaving Atletico Madrid as he bids farewell to club with Barcelona move imminent
Antoine Griezmann has announced his departure from Atletico Madrid with his anticipated move to Barcelona expected to be completed imminently.

Reports surfaced this week suggesting Barcelona had triggered the Frenchman’s £108million release clause after he informed the club about his desire to join the Catalans.

Griezmann, who snubbed the option to move to the Nou Camp last summer and instead committed his future to Atletico, confirmed on Tuesday evening that his time at the club is now over.

The forward bid his farewells in a heartfelt video posted on social media, saying: ‘It’s been an incredible five years; Thank you very much for everything, I take you in the heart.’

Griezmann’s announcement represents a massive U-turn, having declared Atletico was ‘my home’ in the midst of Barcelona’s pursuance of him last year.

The Frenchman only penned a new deal at Atletico worth around £22m 12 months ago but it is now believed he will sign for Barcelona ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.

Griezmann’s arrival in Catalan could have huge ramifications on Philippe Coutinho, who has struggled to live up to the billing since moving from Liverpool in a mega-money deal back in January 2018.

Despite the Brazilians struggles to settle in Barcelona, Coutinho has still featured regularly under Ernesto Valverde, making 53 appearances in all competitions.

Reports sighted by MandyNews.com indicates that the murdered wife of Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh reportedly filed for divorce from her ex-husband.

According to reports, Bettie Jenifer filed for divorce from her first husband Kedrick Jenifer believed to be a drug kingpin who has been jailed for 20 years.

Well, it was also reported that Bettie filed for divorce after her first husband found out about her marriage to Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh.

This report confirms the statement from the US Attorney’s Office that Bettie was married to two men at the same time.

According to reports, Kedrick Jenifer also known as Pretty Ricky was the main cocaine supplier between Baltimore and Woodbridge, Virginia, USA.

It is known that he distributed 450 kilograms of cocaine to the listed areas and is currently serving time in federal prison.

Bettie Jenifer was murdered on Friday 10th May 2019 in Maryland, USA when she was walking towards the parking lot after work around 5pm.

No one has been arrested yet over the murder of Chris Attoh’s wife but investigations are still underway.

Bettie got married to Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh in October 2018 at Dansoman, Accra after he divorced his Nigerian wife, Damilola with whom he has a son.

Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has convicted and sentenced Uchenna Samuel Nwosu (a.ka. Jackson Mendez) to six months imprisonment for internet fraud, impersonation and obtaining the sum of $500 (Five Hundred American Dollars) from an American, Carmen Alvarez, under false pretence.

Nwosu was arraigned by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt's Zonal Office on April 11, 2019 on three-count charges bordering on internet fraud, impersonation and obtaining under false pretences contrary to Section 6 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under section 1(3) of the same Act.

One of the count read: "That you UCHENMNA SAMUEL NWOSU (alias Jackson mendez) on or about February 2019, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court had in your possession (your email address: jacksonmendez180@gmail.com) documents containing false pretence which you knew or ought to know contains false pretence and thereby committed an offence or an attempt to commit an offence contrary to section 6 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act 2006 and punishable under section 1 (3) of the same Act".

Nwosu originally pleaded "not guilty" to the charges but later changed his plea to "guilty".

Based on his changed plea, Prosecuting counsel, Barrister Samuel Chime prayed the court to convict him accordingly.

Justice Sani convicted and sentenced him to six months imprisonment on each of the three - count charges. The sentence however runs concurrently. The court also ordered Nwosu to restitute the $500 he collected from his victim. Also, the court ruled that a laptop, Lenovo T410, recovered from him should be forfeited to the Federal Government.

Nwosu's journey to prison began when he was arrested along Liberty Drive, Woji, Port Harcourt, for his involvement in online dating scam. Specifically, he impersonated an American soldier in Syria to defraud Carmen Alvarez, an American lady of $500, being a part-payment of $2,350 he requested from her in an online chat.
