Career › Re: What Should I Go For, HND In Architecture Or 4 Month Intensive Coding/programmin by manga5: 4:54pm On Mar 25, 2022 |
Everyone has advised correctly based on their experiences. I will only add my token. 4 months of extensive coding will not make you a good programmer. It will take a long time to grasp (this means repeated study and practice). As much as the boot camp is good, you will not get the result you are hoping for. What the boot camp will do is to get you started. My suggestion is apply for your HND Achitecture, if you are successful, go for it and secure a base in that, while you are at it, you can learn programming. Google, YouTube, Edex have free courses that can get you up and running. I used to be a Civil Engineer back in the days but I work as a software Engineer. At the End of the day, just ensure you love programming else you will regret not going for architecture when the initial learning frustration starts. I wish you all the best |

solaty: When you have a dream, you've got to grab it and never let it go — Carol Burnett
I congratulate myself today, as I shine out to be the Best Graduating Student, Geology Department, Federal University of Technology Minna. I am the first girl in my family to have come this far and it matters to me! It's a credo that dreams are valid if we have courage to pursue them. I was raised in a kind of community that has not much keen interest in girl-child education but yet I kept the believe and remain resolute to my dreams. Today, I feel proud to be inspiration to girls in my town (SAKI) that they can achieve their dreams too.
It all started 9yrs ago at The Polytechnic, Ibadan before proceeding to Federal University of Technology Minna as direct entry student. Although the journey was really rough but I didn't give up. In the darkest moments, I was focused to see the light. The moment I deemed the toughest as a Student Nursing Mother, amazingly turns out to be the simplest when I bagged on 5.0 semester cgpa. The rigor of combining motherhood with education poses great challenge to student nursing mothers but with grit, grace and style I triumph against all hurdles. I return my glory to the most exalted.
I give thanks, adoration and utmost gratitude to Almighty Allah for making this long journey a success. My undiluted appreciation goes to my parents ( Mr and Mrs Abdrasaq) for their support. I commend the efforts of my dear husband Iyiola Mubarak Oladimeji, you are God sent in my life. My appreciation is never complete if I fail to salute the efforts of my mentor Maranroola Isiaka Olaniyi, indeed you are a great man. To everyone who have supported me along the journey, who have invested in me to be better and trusted me, may God positively reward you all.
I see this as a completion of one phase in life at the same time beginning of new chapter. I pray May Allah put Barakah in it and more wins to come my way.
Thanks to my friends and family.
#happyconvocationtome #4.46-CGPA Congratulations. You have done well, that your CGPA shows that your worked really hard for a first class. You are actually a first class candidate but we know what geology in FUT minna is. Don’t worry you are just about to enter greatness. |

tensazangetsu20: A lot of immigration schemes are very particular about work experience in their countries compared to outside their own countries. With Canada express entry, Canadian work experience triumps work experience outside Canada. It's same with Europe and other advanced nations.
Let's assume one works remotely in Nigeria for a company registered in Canada. Does that count as Canadian work experience or Nigerian work experience. Yes |

Young lad, I feel your frustration and I will not be judgemental cos once upon a time, I was in your shoes. I want you to first settle in your mind that your dad loves you and wants the best for you. Secondly what ever God wants for you and have planned will come to pass if you are diligent in doing your path. When I finished my secondary school, my dad wanted me to read Civil Engineering and also wanted me to school in FUT Minna. My desire was Electrical Engineering and Computer in ABU Zaria. Eventually my dad used his veto to change my path. I look back today after 21 years and I am happy that God used my dad to overturn my decision. Because I ended up meeting some of the best minds in FUT minna. Today I work as a software engineer even after practicing some years as a Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineering set a foundation to where I am today. Be rest assured that you will not miss anything. God was the one that gave you that man as a father, your path to greatness will be through the foundation he lays for you. I hope my story makes sense to you. Happy New year |

Luis van gal brought me to Barca. I used to support Ajax in the days when Kanu and Finidi graced Holland. We only watched highlights on NTA(Rothmas of pall Mall European football). When Van Gaal signed with Barca, I switched allegiance to the Catalance (1998-date). I saw the reign of Madrid, how they dominated Spain to when power changed hands in 2005 with the arrival to Rjkaard that brought in a new era. I love Barca because of their tiki taka football. I had a little romance with Arsenal but I broke up in 2001 due to the madness Arsene Wenger . Today Barca are are a shadow of themselves, maybe Xavi will bring in a new era( wishful thinking) |

All the Popes have been proven to be pedophiles also. There are more child molesters in the Christianity than all other religions combined. I wonder where they learn this act of sleeping with small boys came from. May be they learn it from Jesus. Go figure. I taught Islam believed in Jesus as "One of the prophets". You do not sound like someone who knows his holy book. lahizak: Where you are wrong is that a school first and foremost supposed to protect the student and either you like it or not the girl is a victim. She may be stupid but she is a victim and as far as we are concerned, she did not break the rules of the school. Sex between adult outside a school is not a crime, is not like she steal or kill someone. A video meant for there eyes that got leaked is a violation of her privacy. And either you like it or not her action have no effect whatsoever on the school. And how will you compare school institution, a place for teaching and learning to work place that pays you salary. So u saying if you and your guy have sex and stupidly make a video and it got leaked, ur office and any other association you know should disown u. Just 4 making a stupid mistake. Na wa oo Very true. The difference between a Thiest and an Atheist is based on three things, which are Belive, Experience and Knowledge. For the Atheist, they do not have an experience of God. The Atheist have very strong knowledge of the non existence of God which of cause is flawed because not all cases can be logically explained. They have developed a believe system that God does not exist in which for you to experience God, you must first believe His existence. I used to be a freethinking person until I had an encounter. When I see a well crafted arguements from Atheists I know where they are coming from. Until they have an encounter with God or God's enemy, all this big philosophical statements will continue. There is no amount of prove you will give an Atheist that will change His mind because Believe & Encounters cannot be logically explained. If you drank an orange and say its sweet, anybody who has not tasted the same orange cannot support your claim. I have touched Jesus, I know Jesus and I Live by Him. I am sorry I cannot explain my experience. My life is a miracle. |

I do not want all those scientific evidence you guys believe that the world started with a big bang etc. If you can give me detailed prove from your own research and personal experience that there is no God, there is no supernatural, there are no spiritual powers that transcends this physical world, I will answer your all your questions. Too many lucky breaks. Nothing associated with any “God”.
If there was any TRUE MIRACLES, there would be NO suffering, disease or poverty anywhere in the world. Tell your “GODs” to eradicate injustice, diseases, wickedness and poverty for TRUE MIRACLES!
We are just LUCKY for now! Very common statement by every atheist. What you guys fail to understand is that God has an enemy. Whether you believe or not the enemy of God believes in you. Disaster, injustice and calamity are consequences of the activities of the enemy. |
