Goke7: No thanks to the horrible pitch confirmed and approved by both CAF and FIFA. The painful part is that this same CAF and FIFA didn't allow so many countries play their matches at home, claiming no good stadium but allowed South Africa to play in a worst stadium. The whole stadium ban is a charade. |

Danielnino00: How come CAF didn't adopt this method for the 2017 AFCON qualifiers when Chad pulled out and our group was disqualified from presenting a second best runner up?? That's why I said that CAF/FIFA will decide. They are the umpire and they will decide what happens. Examples abound for both. One is fair, one is not. It's part of the politics of the game. |

NIGHTMARE0O7: U are a South african. So u will say this as expected. But one this The match wasnt played on level playing ground.
During any Euefa competition draws. There is a reason why they make sure There are no two clubs in the same country that plays iN the same group. They make sure all the clubs are well spread accross the groups.
I still maintain SA CHEATED the competition was equal and fairl to everyone in the group. UPPER HAND was given to SA Thats the truth. But lets see how far They go in WC. after qualifying through fraud. Make FIFA deduct that point now. Worst come to worst we allow Benin to qualify in the last game. |

Pythagoras001: This is were NFF should be smart enough to play politics and lobby caf to change it from best 4 second place to best 8 second place. chelle has already gotten the rythm with the players and i believe we would win our last 2 matches. if nigeria enter that playoff we have the chance of winning the african play offs and be one of the two teams that qualify from the intercontinental playoffs. This is impossible. Rules are made before commencement. The exception is where is an unforseen circumstance like in the xlcase of Eritrea withdrawing and which may only affect how the best 4 is drawn |

Goke7: Honestly I didn’t even know those countries were playing their home games in SA until few weeks ago. It’s one of the greatest scam in football, Zambia even borders Zimbabwe why can’t they play their games there even Lesotho can play in Namibia. Na plan work honestly! We said it a long time ago. It's possible NFF are part of the ploy. Those guys might even collect bribe to sabotage their country. It's not today Nigerians start conniving with outsiders to scam their country. Ajaokuta steel is an example. |

minfelix: let’s take a look at this permutations and combination. If fifa want to deduct from all second place teams currently Group A: Burkina faso 14pts won bottom place djibouti home and away 15-6= 9pts
Group B: DRC 16pts won botton place south sudan home and away 16-6= 10
Group C: Nigeria 11point drew twicw with bottom place zimbabwe twice 11-2=9
Group D: Cameroon 15pts won Eswatini and drew them 15-4 =11pts
Group E: Tanzania 10pts(the grouo Eritrea pulled out from) 10pts
Group F: Gabon 18 points beat sychelles home and away 18-6= 12pts
Group G: Uganda 15pts beat bottom place somalia home and away 15-6= 9pts
Group H: Namibia 15pts beat bottom place sao tome home and away 15-6= 9pts
Group I: Madagascar 16pts beat bottom place chad home and away 16-6 = 10pts
omo if e end like this e no go good oo🤣🤣😜🤪 Best 4 teams - Gabon 12pts -Cameroon 11pts -DRC 10pts -Madagascar 10pts
the rest -Tanzania 10pts -Burkina Faso 9pts -Nigeria 9pts -Uganda 9pts -Namibia 9pts
✍️✍️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤪🤪😂😂 It will now be down to who wins their next 2 matches. I don give up. |

Pythagoras001: This Lesotho be !d!ot They want to ruin our chances we need them to not be the last on the table. but we f**ked up sha this lesotho team that we could have thrashed at home They didn't play this way against Nigeria. They played ultra defensive and were lucky to get that breakaway goal. We laboured, miss chances before we finally equalised. |

MetalJigsaw: You're totally wrong! Im not a fan of any local coach. What Ieant was there was a period local coaches are being considered but Amuneke wasn't given a try So we should sack Chelle and appoint Amunike now because we couldn't bear South Africa? I supported Amunike too then. I'm a Siasia supporter but you see this qualifier, Chelle did nothing wrong. His invitation is on merit. He can only learn. If I were to meet him one on one, my advice would be: Don't listen to NFF, fans and journalist; choose your team based on merit and stick to your decisions. |

MetalJigsaw: Please tell us those teams he played. Couldn't beat a lowly ZIM at home, Rwanda home game could have easily ended in a draw. couldn't beat an ordinary SA team in a must win match despite the Europe based stars at his disposal. Is that what you're applauding?
That is pure mediocrity.
Is this set of players that include 2 African bests no deserving of a grade B coach? Why was Amunike not given a chance??
Player for player most of these players in our group can't lace the boots od our players so why are we struggling so much against them??
The last 10 minutes of that match was so embarrassing! African local players running rings around our team, pinning us back when the reverse is supposed to be the case.
See Eric Chelle falling for cheap antics from opposing coach to make him angry amd lose focus in the crucial moments od the match. Chai!😥 I sight 94set. Waiting for this moment. They called for Finidi. From this comment I can sense this one is calling for Amunike. When will you guys leave Super Eagles alone and look for coaching job elsewhere? |

Dannyxy: Somehow Nigeria might qualify, Lesotho will get proper hiding in uyo , everyone wants to okay rough against Nigeria now, but the will get it…
My problem is the Benin game, that’s going to be tough, very tough…
What if South Africa draws or loose two matches? Then get 3 points which will obviously be removed later.
There is is still a lot to play for. We are playing Lesotho in South Africa not Uyo. They drew us in Uyo match day 1. They scored first we managed to equalise. Benin is in Uyo. It's the game that will determine who gets 2nd spot if we win Lesotho in South Africa. |

lbrichman2: Our FA is weak We no get mouth for Africa again..
I remember those years Enyimba won the CafCL, Orji Uzo Kalu played all the necessary politics..
Gusau is a weak president of a weak FA Now we know we enjoyed Hayatu, the Cameroonian. Pinnick helped take CAF to Southern Africa. I doubt those guys will release it soon. Now this zonal youth tournament qualification is helping expose their teams. Very soon all of them will be strong team too. That's the tournament West Africa use to produce players mostly. We have limited slot now. |

Ragingthunder: 6 points will take us to 17 points, seven of the second placed team is already on 15, it's over bro If the format suggested is used. Those on 15 would get extra 6 making it 21. If they won their lowest placed team home and away, that's minus 6. Taking them back to 15 points. Ours will be 17pts. If you remove 2. We get to 15pts too because we drew Zimbabwe home and away. In such a scenario, you never can tell if the ranking won't favour you. |

Ragingthunder: Is it impossible ? Nigeria is on 11 points Calculator time: Before 10pm Benin will be on 14pts. We need to win our last 2 games to finish second. If the format suggested here is approved and the above happens, our 17pts then will become 15pts (ie minus 2 against Zimbabwe) |

QueenJazz: Use your head. Our creativity in the attack is dead rubber. Or are you blind? Na hand I use before? Chelle has no blame in this. This qualifier was lost after 4 games. He only came on remedial mission and didn't do badly. I don't single out players for blame but our previous saviour: Ekong failed us. Today's game: Remove 2 points from RSA and add 2 to Nigeria's own. Against Zimbabwe: add 2 points to ours again and see where we would have been. This is how the table would have looked like without those errors: RSA 16pts Nig 15pts |
