it's obvious you don't read your law books, it's not in the mouth of the defendant to tell a plaintiff or complainant the appropriate method to adopt in seeking a redress against him . The plaintiff may either adopt to file a civil suit or criminal complaint in a defamation case depending on the nature of the case ..
