The masses go to church on sundays they pay their tithes speak in tongues pray to thier God read thier bible sing and dance they all happy like they don get some kind of buzz from the service but in reality nothing has changed. I don't believe any amount of praying will change your friends mind because prayers will never make God come down from Heaven in the flesh meet your friend and answer his Questions about why he allows all this suffering to happen in the world, and he knows that.
