If you have been banned from the Islamic section it means you must've posted a commemt that the mod in that section deems offensive. And if u start a topic that looks like it should be in the Islamic section we move to the islamic section.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Churches: Who Are They Building Universities For? by manmustwac(m): 7:52pm On Sep 24, 2012
Knight1: Well, while it's true that These Universities are expensive, i think we ought to consider things from a broader perpective

1. The lecturers must be paid. Well paid so as to attract the best of brains
2. The infrastructure must be maintained else it you know what will happen
3. The university must sustain itself. The churches shouldn't always bail it out

Its not a very desirable situation, but good education is costly; however i would expect that the church extend scholarship to deserving church members.
You forgot to mention number 4 which is the most important out of all them which is the church needs a return on its venture meaning the church needs to make a profit. Wasn't that the REAL reason for building the university in the first place? And by the way what happens to the huge profits the church makes from their venture?
Christianity EtcRe: Did She Loose Faith Or She Was Just A Church-goer? by manmustwac(m): 5:50pm On Sep 24, 2012
MacDaddy01: Its a sad case that stories like these are used to peddle fear and brainwash others.
YES O!Religion blinds you from "REALITY" but unfortunately the OP and the believers can't see that

Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Churches: Who Are They Building Universities For? by manmustwac(m): 9:47am On Sep 24, 2012
Zikkyy: I want to agree with joagbaje, you really need to ask what the church objectives are. Was it to provide affordable education to church members? was is to provide quality education (only to those that can afford it)? Was it for profit? If it was clear from the very beginning that it was going to be for those that can afford it, you don't blame the church.
Well shouldn't the church at least be honest and faithful and let the poor congregation know that their hard earned money that they contribute towards the building of the priviate university would only be affordable for the rich and out of the price range the poor. Don't you think that would make a lot more sense Zikky rather than to con and decieve the poor congregation?
Christianity EtcRe: How I Lost My Bible In Winners Chapel. by manmustwac(m): 12:30am On Sep 24, 2012
Image123: it's a public place of worship, one should not forget commonsense simply because he's going for altar call or first timer call, or nature call, or deliverance call. you should take your belongings with you or tell someone to keep them for you. Its the same way some would be 'under deliverance' and get pregnant or robbed. The church is a public place of worship, not a Heaven of angels.
So your personal property is not safe in the house of God? Meaning I can't leave my bible on my seat and go to the toilet and come back because half the congregation are thieves just like their tithes thieving pastors

CrimeNigerian Man And Wife In UK Facing 6 Years In Prison Over Benefit Scam by manmustwac(op): 1:21pm On Sep 23, 2012
A minicab driver who claimed he was earning just £700 a month but was living a luxury of life in his Nigerian mansion, has been ordered to pay almost £1.2million.

Ovo Mayomi and his wife Juliet Ubiribo were convicted of fraud in 2010 after using an identity and immigration scam to falsely claim £43,000 in benefits.

Mayomi, 44, claimed he was earning £700 a month and was living in Croydon, south London, while his wife, 32, claimed benefits after telling benefit bosses she was a single mother and a victim of domestic violence.

But fraud investigators found Mayomi and his wife were actually living in a large luxurious house in Lekki near the Nigerian capital Lagos worth more than £1million complete with chandeliers and £89,000 worth of sound equipment.

He also had a £25,000 watch. His wife wore a Rolex watch and drove a Mercedes Sport Coupi.

Now a judge has ordered Mayomi to pay £1,197,743.54 in a confiscation order under the Proceeds Of Crime Act, or go to prison for six years. As well as two money-transferring businesses and bank accounts, investigators also discovered Mayomi owned a fish farm in the country.

The couple’s benefit scam unravelled when a visa application by Mayomi showed they had married a year earlier and that Ubiribo had a job in order to support him.

Ubiribo also asked the council to rehouse her because she was the victim of domestic violence. However, the telephone number she gave revealed the man she named as her landlord – Ayiomike Neburagho – was, in fact, her husband Mayomi using a false identity.

At a police interview, Mayomi admitted that while living in Nigeria he had bought the identity of Ayiomike Matthew Neburagho and had entered the UK as him.

Mayomi was also shown a wedding photograph of himself, using the Neburagho identity, marrying a Nigerian woman in the UK. He admitted he was the groom in the wedding photo but he said he was ‘just standing in for someone’.

Ubiribo and Mayomi pleaded guilty to all charges.

Mayomi was jailed for 30 months two years ago and his wife was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years. She was also ordered to carry out 200 hours of community service and be under curfew for four months from 9pm to 6am.

Court orders were signed freezing their assets in the UK and abroad in 2010, and an investigation was launched to find out how much the Nigerian-born couple had gained from their criminal lifestyle and what the extent of their assets was.

Mayomi, of Ashburton, disputed the results of the assets investigation, and a subsequent four-day confiscation hearing took place at Croydon Crown Court.

On Friday, Judge Nicholas Ainley ruled that Mayomi must pay £1,197,743.54 by 14 March next year. It is one of the largest confiscation orders carried out by a council.

Failure to do so will see him sent to prison for six years, during which time interest will accumulate on his debt, which will remain due following his release.

At a hearing in July, a confiscation order was made against Ubiribo for £9,357.42 to be paid by 19 October or face five months in prison.

Investigators had discovered she was the owner of a Rolex watch and a Mercedes Sport Coupi.

Proof like what? Give us examples. What proof is there everywhere that u can see with your two naked eyes that I would need forensic evidence DNA and science to findout?

Omoswags: BE CAREFUL WHAT U SAY ABOUT D BIBLE... EXCEPT U HAVE A WISH OF DYING SOON... SEUN PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD.. EXCEPT U'RE NOT A CHRISTIAN, WHICH I ALREADY SUSPECT.
Trust me even if I say the Bible SUCKS, its full of Jewish fairytales or that Heaven only exists in your imagination. Trust me by this time tomorrow nothing would've happened. Do you know why? Its because God is imaginary but since your blinded by your religious belief you'll never know that.

Christianity EtcRe: Questions? Comments? Complaints? Talk To The Moderators Here by manmustwac(m): 10:42pm On Sep 16, 2012
toba: i understand u perfectly and would address ur post in piece firstly i dont think seun has too much info about the mods cos the supermod ought to be in charge of that. but in cases where mukina is biased, she might opt not to do the right thing in advising him.
Seun dose about 3 posts a day now and spends more time reading topics. I saw his name viewing the McDaddy topic about How To Write A Homepage Topic here before it got moved to the Nairaland/General section.

toba: as regards starting a thread on who shouldnt be a moderator, i dont think its a bad idea cos u moderators are moderating the forum of human beings and not that of machines. once we feel, u arent doing well, we have the right to protest. look at the issue of sagamite, a moderator that erred several times until he lost the position.
You start a topic in the nairaland/general section then.

toba: Im particularly concerned about tunji the moderator in the islam section. that guy is just not matured to be a moderator at all and im angry that mukina was part of the decision making team that made him a mod. this same tunji has had issues with atleast 5 moderators and also several members. mukina had to delete several posts on the muslim singles thread where tunji started picking issues with jaybee over a lady in the islam section deols that openly rejected tunji, yet tunji kept stalking her. he acts with autoritarianism. he does it like an opportunist.
let me ask u a question MmW. is it out of place to ask about u or jesoul on this thread? i mean if either of u were absent for a while and i posted here to ask about ur welfare?
i've compiled grounds that are very enough for seun to use to remove tunji as a mod. lots of grounds, abuse of power etc.
Yes its ok to ask about me or JeSoul if you don't see any of us around for a while Goshen360 did that recently when JeSoul was away theres no harm in doing that or sending an email. As for maclatunji if you want to start a topic about us moderators please be diplomatic, choose your words carefully and don't mention anybodys name.

toba: lastly i read ur comment on macdaddy's thread. i can say u are 1000000% correct. Mukina is sometimes biased in favouring islamic threads that hardly go pass 3 pages. she's a friend and a sister to me but then i'll speak the truth. the islam section is very dry and thats why pple hardly post there, but u find there threads making the homepage. check out this thread www.nairaland.com/1047271/section-mosque

it shows the seclusion

anyway, i ve said mine and i may be forced to start a thread showing why tunji isnt fit to be a mod. he sent me a crazy e-mail yesterday, which i may have to forward to u guys to see how immatured he is.

at ur next meeting, quote my post for seun to read. im a veteran here grin since 2006
We don't have meeting there just like you guys don't have meetings in Religion. We just open topics like we do here on religion but there topics are concerning nairaland issues like the garri gang, homepage topics, nairaland troublemakers, the spambot etc.
Christianity EtcRe: Questions? Comments? Complaints? Talk To The Moderators Here by manmustwac(m): 7:43pm On Sep 16, 2012
It is not as simple as that toba. Seun knows who they are just like you and i do. The best i could do is start a topic titled Nairalanders Who Are Not Fit To Be Moderators but i don't think its wise (and i don't have the liver) to do that. Am already in trouble with the queen of nairaland for comments i made in MacDaddy's topic here https://www.nairaland.com/1041300/moderators-please-create-thread-explaining so you know the saying See No Evil Hear No Evil
Christianity EtcRe: Questions? Comments? Complaints? Talk To The Moderators Here by manmustwac(m): 6:28pm On Sep 16, 2012

Christianity EtcRe: Factors Responsible For The Proliferation Of Churches In Nigeria by manmustwac(m): 9:51am On Sep 15, 2012
when began to see the proliferation of churches on my street old ojo road in lagos in the early 90s i knew exactly where nigeria was heading. Poverty, unemployment, and inflation are the main reasons for the increase in churches. Add to that the fact that nigerians are afraid of death so would rather look to God to come down from Heaven rather than hold thier Government to account like what the Greeks did in Greece when they demonstrated about inflation caused by the euro
Christianity EtcRe: Is Science More Accurate Than The Bible? by manmustwac(m): 7:57pm On Sep 13, 2012
k2039: The Bible is more accurate.
we can go round and round with atheist on this and never see eye to eye but the truth is that the scientific text book changes every few years.
The theory of evolution has never been proved so dont let your teacher teach you like its a fact because its not.
Science infact DOES change

The Bible is never wrong. Somethings are unprovable as you have said, and some things, like Genesis are often misunderstood, but it has never been proven wrong.
People say that science can explain everything, but all science can do is discover the laws which God used to make the Universe. And miracles acknowledge these laws. The whole concept of a miracle is that it is impossible without the power of God.
So how old is this planet according to the bible then 6 to 10'000 years? undecided While science give a more accurate description like 4 billion years

Well that's life for you I remember when he wasn't a mod and he was being a big nuisance on a topic in the religion section in the old nairaland I wanted to recommend him for a banning but did not because I was afraid of being called biased because the topic was a fight between atheists and theists now see how he is as a mod

The voice in your head is your subconscious mind telling you that all this praying is just a BIG WASTE of your precious time. You need to think of practical ways to solve your problems because all this closing your eyes and talking to yourself will never solve anything
