That dose not look like the Jewish hand of God. Is that the Nigerian hand of God? Or Diego Maradonna's hand of God? ![]() |
What is the meaning of illuminati? |
$tunna:Will I get 10% of the tithes to? ![]() |
Enigma: ManmustwacMaybe your right. Maybe your wrong. Who knows? But then as an atheist its a lot easier for me to see and understand things from their point of view than it is for the Christians. But then that's why we have two mods here who see things from different sides of the scales |
Paid to critisize Muslims? Your not serious. Arnt there Muslims who visit the Religion section to critisize Christianity to? Are they being paid? |
Religion blinds you from reality |
wiegraf: www.nairaland.com/996678/islam-psychologically-damaged-me-depressionThe topic was started by a non muslim called tidytim & tidytim = frosbel. And it was mukina who moved it to the islamic section on 22 June not me like I first thought |
wiegraf: The other day, some teenager was complaining about being persecuted because she was being open about her doubt of islams tenets. She posts it here, with the aim of getting advice from atheists, somehow the thread ends up in the islamic section.Which topic was this? Can you procide the link? Maybe I removed it by mistake. |
Mind Your Own Business is that the best you can do Tpia? |
Dose the church build affordable schools for the poor? Apart from just praying for the sick dose the church help towards the hospital bills of their sick members? Dose the church give financial handouts to thier members who are experiencing financial difficulties? Apart from praying for your success, financial breakthrough, against your demons etc what else dose the church do with your 10% tithes. ![]() |
Omo Alata: I'm quite surprised as I thought MAJORITY of Africans believed in someone/somethingI believe in evolution. Do you count that as believing in someone/something? |
MacDaddy01: Probably. One should be consistent with his beliefs if you bash intolerance from christians in one section for something, you should also bash similar intolerance from muslims.OK I will try visit IF HE BANS ME......... Well lets not go there. |
diluminati: Many people confuse Atheist with agnostics and the likes. This thread is to set the record straight in what Atheist dont believe in so people will get the idea. so what are the ideas, beliefs, superstitions, myths that Atheist dont believe in?I don't believe in any of this onetrack: -Bibleor this I also don't believe in Pastor Chris and his healing school or Pastor T B Joshua and his prophecies or Pastor Adeboye and his predictions. |
MacDaddy01: What a silly excuse. I rather someone hand me leaflets than another person killing me for daring to have a muslim girlfriend or voicing my opinions about religion. So u class me as an arrogant coward then? ![]() |
buzugee: you are off the impression that God has a vested interest in the carnal pleasures of man such as acquiring some roundly cut metals that hang on a ribbon. you err. you errWhat has that got to do with the point. Is it not the same Nigerians who pray for safe journeys. good leadership, for constant power for their sick relatives etc. Do us people living in atheist Great Britain have to pray for any of the above i just mentioned? |
juman: Nigeria is land of hypocrites.religious hypocrites ![]() |
I don't even bother with posting in the islamic section coz its usually christians handing me leaflets or stopping me in the road trying to convert me I just focuss on them. |
All the praying and fasting bedore and durring the olympics didn't help nigeria to win a single medal whereas atheist Britain who spend more time & money on preparation instead of superstitious prayers won 29 gold medals. |
@Goshen360 Your welcome and i will keep an eye out for Islamic topics in the Religion section @Anony and Enigma The spambot got you guys and i have dealt with the problem ![]() |
frosbel: Jesoul is missed greatly !!I agree with you. I miss her myself. |
cheesome: after being poorly prepared for d olympics,we then rely on prayers and blame d voodoo guyz when we fumble. That is part of the reason why we fumbled. Its this our backwardd mentality. |
Nice story but then its only a a story |

New instructions from Seun Osewa the site owner how to deal with trolls. Please read the following. Dear Valued Moderators, this to inform you that we're implementing a no-troll-tolerance policy with immediate effect. A troll is a persistent trouble-maker who keeps disrupting the forum in one way or the other: e.g. consistently posting irritating offtopic comments on other peoples' threads, insulting people for no reason whatsoever, posting satellite pictures or other images that have nothing to do with anything, etc. People who make the forum unpleasant for everyone else. Some of them are spammers as well, posting adverts in non-ad sections deliberately. I've decided that we must not permit them to troll our forum any longer. We must not tolerate them any longer. I need you to help me implement this decision. Here's how: when a troll persistently disrupts your section, you should ban him/her from your section for 48 hours. If he repeats the offence after coming back, ban him for 96 hours. Keep doubling the ban time until he/she gets the message. If he/she registers a new ID, ban the new ID for 1 year. Don't develop the attitude that "there's nothing I can do", because it's not true: you can JUST BAN THEM from your section. If moderators can't deal decisively with the trolls in their sections, what's the point of having moderators? The goal is to make Nairaland a more pleasant place, so people won't be afraid to participate. People often say it takes a thick skin to post Nairaland because you will end up getting insulted and having to deal with tribal arguments and other irritations. So they post on Facebook instead. I want us to eliminate the troll problem so thoroughly that people will start to prefer posting on Nairaland to posting on Facebook. So to all you persistent trolls {you know who you are} this is a final warning to stop trolling and to all you good law abiding regular posters of the religion section. Please make use of the report to moderator button if you see anybody trolling or breaking the forum rules and regulations I will deal with the complaint and you will help me make the religion section a better place for all of us. ![]() |
