SHIIITHOLE:
Are there jobs in Europe? By the way, what is the level of unemployment in Nigeria, compared with Ghana? And who told you there are more jobs in Nigeria than Ghana? What type of jobs can you find in Nigeria these days? Ghana is attracting more investments than Nigeria, which leads to jobs being created. Go and check the level of unemployment in the two countries before you talk

Am not talking of level of unemployment but country that more companies and investment, do u equally know that level of unemployment in South Africa is higher than Nigeria. So man bone level of unemployment but but country that have availability of job, also USA hav more unemployment than Dubai but people are roaming Dubai looking for job

Getting admission is easy but it's easier for a Camel to pass eye of a needle than you getting visa from Nigeria
Hmmm but I don't see difficult in getting visa, once ur application is complete they will definitely give u visa, in what aspect do u think is difficult getting visa, I won't be applying from Nigeria though

Fellow Nairalanders. I don't know if am confused or just want to seek opinion as no one is an island of knowledge. I'm an Engineering graduate. Though am not working in my field, but I engage in some business where I work and am making some few cash. My salary is around 50k for like 2years plus. But I started a business there with 200k and at the moment am running the business with around 12million. With the look of things now, averagely I will be making around 1.5m to 2m monthly through my business. I have always been willing to escape from this country probably through educations means and its not like I really like book, but I just want to use MSc as an opportunity to leave here to a Sane environment. My issue is, am confused as to whether to just face my business squarely and forget about traveling or just raise close to 25million to 30million and leave the country. Thinking that it might not be that easy over there and am still single. Just contemplating as I don't just wish to settle down here because of the kind of life I want my unborn kids to face.
2million monthly and u haven't raise 20million that u said u needed to travel, Baba take it easy with ur lies, if truly you are making such money no need travelling baba

Bro, so long as you are making such an amount of money here, just calm down. You can get a visit visa, travel, water the ground, come back and continue your business. You can equally make your business and international one... Then enrol for masters in any country of your choice, and boom.... You are there.
Meanwhile, pls I need to do business with you as I am an engineering graduate too.

Good morning and compliment of the season. I met one Alhaja yesterday she said there is a live-in maid Job available in Dubai and salary is 100k when converted to naira. She also said the Visa is 500k and I have to deposit 200k. It will be processed withing 3 weeks and I would resume work straight from the airport. She said I should send her via WhatsApp, my international passport, a passport pic and a portrait pic of me showing my full stature on a white background.

Pls is this real, plus is the salary for live-in maid Job 100k or more than? I hope she is not planning on using me for continued monthly business.
Don't accept it pls, is slavery job pls, that is what many of them do here.

So u don't know that people are shamed when they travel out and come back empty, apart from that it make no sense letting everyone know u have travelled till u settle well. Travel / Re: I Am Going To Dubai For Christmas Who Can Assist Me With More Information by manneger2: 2:33pm On Nov 26, 2020
BarrSly:

Hi guys so I intend going to Dubai for the Christmas holiday but I’m really confused cause last time I took a trip out of the country I was like 5 years old and my parents did all the necessaries on my behalf.

Now the boy is matured, I intend going for the Christmas but I got quite some issues which I’ll love experienced travelers who have been to the UAE to explain for me;

1. I hear I might not be able to use my Naira Mastercard over there as there’s a $100 limit by CBN. How true is this?

2. If indeed it’s true then do I have to exchange my Naira for Diram here in Nigeria before leaving?

3. Can I be able to use my MTN while I am over there? Cause I don’t see the sense in buying a sim over there when I am not relocating fully.

All these and many more questions please I’ll be expecting some assistance and response from you all..

Thank you very much.
You can change ur naira to dollar in Nigeria, then when u enter change to dirhams, or you can still change naira to dirhams through transfer using ur banks app, to many Nigerian exchange centers here.
You can use MTN but the call rate is high while roaming, there are some package MTN do for tourism travellers to Dubai to roam with thier MTN line in Dubai.
Due to Corona virus everywhere in Dubai is quite, no much travellers around this days, but the fun is still there, u can get cheaper hotels now

Op ur salary in Nigeria is poor walai, na ur type suppose come UAE because sincerely u have nothing much to loose because the salary is small, I'm telling u my self if is me I will come to UAE with 3month visa and look for company that will do employment visa for me, but this days Nigeria getting employment visa is very difficult but people are still getting, UAE is not good but my brother that ur civil servant pay na waoo, if is me oo, I will leave that misery salary n come UAE, when I came to UAE I left 50k stressful job in Nigeria to come, and Is not too rough for me here. But on second taught use that money u will use to process 3months visa and start something u can use to support ur civil servant job, we all know civil servant don't go work, so u will have time to run ur business, u gats have serious plan before coming to Dubai, plan A,B,C, if any plan doesn't click u activate next plan, Dubai na for people wey get big heart and focus, alright bro.

Nigerian passport holder must have a visa to come to TRNC as national regulation.

However, Turkish airline only allows students from certain country to come to TRNC after they verify through admission and immigration file that such traveler is a prospective student and has paid the fees to the university..so that way you may travel without a visa but with OKTB (OK-to-board) to TRNC.

Note: OKTB is not a visa but just a permission that the traveler can board the airline meanwhile such passenger will be subjected to the same immigration policies if visa holder during entry; meaning can Ben allowed entry or refused entry depending on the concerned entry Officer.

In recent times, many students used OKTB without an hassle.

And yes from Dubai you can use OKTB; I had few African residents that have traveled to TRNC for studies and came in through OKTB in recent semesters.
Thank you very much for the reply is absolutely clear now

Are you coming to EMU? master or PhD student? Sciences/chemical based? I have just gotten a great news. My project funding 1.5 million TL has been approved by Turkish goverment just few hours ago. This funding will pay entire fees of 3 PhD students and 2 master students working in the exact research theme. PhD students will have monthly salary of 4500 TL and project last for 2 years although renewable depends on progress.

I have contributed largely and positively to this thread of dedicated researchers, my aim is to guide upcoming African and support them via training and am very happy that I have numbers of students who graduated from my lab doing super great in various developed nations:

If you are graduate student and would love to benefit intelectually via research based: EMU and Turkish goverment have supporting packages aimed towards upcoming and dedicated researchers.

As a student, you can travel to Cyprus after you receive a visa from the Turkish embassy of the country you are located while some national don’t need a visa to come to North Cyprus ....so I don’t know your nationality to answer this specific question.
Ok, I'm a Nigerian residing in Dubai, Im asking because of this post

IF you have visa, the following airlines can take passengers going to TRNC: Egypt-air, Emirate, Qatar airways and Air Maroc... you can check their websites or visit travel agents.
does it mean u can still travel without visa as a Nigerian passport holder thanks

Most of the universities in TRNC for MSc nursing runs it in Turkish language.

Also, it may be hard to admit you into MSc due to the fact that your undergrad is coming from different programs. There are many courses in undergrad nursing that will be a prerequisite for you..

I want to find out too, does it mean I can just travel to North Cyprus after getting admission without visa application
