Hmm, Stanbic ain't got no joy. Hiploko of all people! Dude is a legend on this thread. It's really sad. |
Congrats to those with offer letters. Wish u guys the best. |
There was once a Team. I weep for my club... Indeed Olympus has fallen. |
18wheeler:Then Stanbic HR are confused set of people. After mailing them on why recruitment was slow since I heard nothing after exco chat since august, after a week, they replied saying: Dear ******, Thank you for taking out time to go through our recruitment process for the role of an Enquiry Officer. Kindly note that we are temporarily suspending the recruitment process for advertised roles and applications. As a result, all applicants will experience delays in our response time concerning these roles and the recruitment process in general. We will contact you with respect to your application as soon as we resume the recruitment process. Thank you for your patience. Kind regards, Resourcing Unit We want to hear from you. cotmag:What form? I don't understand. Specify. |
Bubewilson:Just noticed your interview is in PH and not lag, my reply above was in terms with lag. Might be a bit different for PH though. Wish you good luck... |
Bubewilson:All things being equal, the second interview would be with the head of HCM, likely questions would be : Tell me about yourself, why banking(also, why UBA) , how can you fit into the role you are being considered for , what is your personal development plan(this particular question was the main point of discussion during my interview). The woman loves people that smile, so display confidence and smile even when faced with a challenging question. |
I have a question... When I had my interview with Stanbic, I was a fresh grad. Straight from NYSC with no experience, so during salary negotation, I "respected" myself and gave a fair figure. Along the line, I got a job with another bank. Since I don't have another interview with them where I can renegotiate salary with them, when they send me a pre-employment offer(after they wake from their slumber) can I renegotiate via mail? Cc: 18wheeler ; Onihaxy; Ednut1 ... Anyone That has an idea. |
chubbyz:Is it still 260k? Else, what is the best price available? |
Am in interested , but what are the T&C's? |
AIZubair:Am cool brother, how is work? |
ajumsy1:My process was shockingly fast. I used a total of 3 weeks from test to training school. But keep calm, it's in batches, some peoples recruitment process took 3 months and above. Yes they send regret mails, but in some cases, they don't, they just leave candidates in the dark even though candidate has been dropped. |
blanco56:When I started my recruitment process it was info you and other peeps dropped here that saw me through... Still very fresh in the system and it's been tasking, for people like you that have spent over two years in the system, Respect. Cheers bruv |
Chekyjustice:It's not gmat per say. Just be acquainted with high school maths and normal English comprehension, synonyms and antonyms (dnt mix up the two, lots of peeps have failed the exam due to that little mix up) also crutical reasoning..... I would just say one thing, the test is easy to pass and also very easy to fail too. Good luck . |
aameyah:Yes. |
Tolution1:Aite bro. Would send some to you and link to some. |
I agree with you OP. Funny thing is I passed out same day with you July 2nd 2015.... During the course of my service year, I always had same reasoning that you needed connections to get jobs, good jobs in Nigeria, but i was wrong. A week after completion of NYSC, I had test invites left and right. I was successful in all and in less than 3 weeks I attended several interviews, did medicals then later attended training school. I had several offers staring me in the face and here I am, without any connection resumed work within a space of 1 month after nysc. Truth is connections help, but you can get jobs without it if you plan early. I started applying for jobs and practicing gmat and shl immediately I began NYSC. Its good to have some sort of fear though, it spurs you to go the extra mile. By the way some of the jobs I applied for and test/interview hints came via Nairaland. I appreciate this site. |
veevean1:Lol. ![]() If I port, will u marry me? ![]() |
:*) Chelsea never fails to disappoint. Now every match day is an embarrassment. |
blanquecheque:Bruv this post was a long time ago, and I made findings and found out there was indeed a genotype SC. My bad I didn't revert back to the thread. |
Hiploko:Someone replied this question some months back. No they dont. |
I am very sure this is a made up story. Regardless, there is a whole lot to learn. |
abiambo:Have you carried out documentation after you had the interview? Because I havent. my interview was 12th august. No news ever since. |
Jamean:Is that your natural hair? |
beau49:After my interview/exco chat, no news from them yet. I recently resumed work with another bank though. But if "Moving Forward" comes and the prospects are right, I just might port. |
Missed this thread sha. how are u guys? Beau49 how far with "Moving Foward", what's the progress level? |

natureboi7:Yes, and 'twas very painful, a close female friend of mine didn't pass the final exam. Good luck in your recruitment process. |
Bcole:Not getting that today, we just wrote our final test. So we getting that next week. |
Bcole:Very soon. Most likely 2 weeks from now. |
Bubewilson:Yes bro. Can't put all eggs in one basket na. |
