I remember when I wrote the test, in July, Now it's 6 months after, I worked 5 months in another organization even though I started stanbic's recruitment first. I know of a friend that started the recruitment in February 2015 got married, given birth, yet she has not completed the recruitment...

The then Kano state government should be scrutinised for wasting $6.7m on 100 people. That's $67000 per person wasted in under 18 months to train these people when the fund should have been utilised into some more meaningful ventures. Meanwhile it probably cost less than $3000 to train each of these people in the universities for 4-5 years of their undergraduate programs. what is the use of pilots to Kano state government that Kwankwaso had to spend such a huge amount of money for aviation purposes?

How much would it have costs to retrain graduates with the objective of sending them back to the class rooms to teach?
How much would have been spent investing that money in agriculture and getting people to work in the farms or other agro based establishment.

Kwankwaso need to be questioned by EFCC.

I clearly understand your point , and though the initiative might seem as a misplaced priority, I feel if this idea was followed through as planned and executed judiciously a whole lot would have been achieved . In a country like Nigeria where we believe and rely only on the whites, won't it have been a brilliant idea if we have majority of active pilots in the country were Nigerians? Why should EFCC question him? What he used the money for is plain obvious.

His only offence is having a plan that was not properly thought through. It's also bad the new government don't share same idea with him, hence making the whole scheme look like and result in a colossal waste.

This is embarrassing to say the least. When would we get it right? There's always a good plan, but implementing has always being the issue from time immemorial.

But seriously , that lady selling cards after training as a pilot?? Can't she get something even more noble?

Banking job is crazy. It's funny when they have a shortage the staff will have to pay but whenever they have an overage they have to declare it and the bank will eat the money.

Speak not what you know bro. No bank would eat an overage. An overage is just as bad as a shortage. For any form of "eating" of overage to take place, you must have a fraudulent teller, fraudulent cash officer, fraudulent internal control officer... If all of those happens then that branch might as well close down cause they need Jesus. If you know of such act happening, kindly whistleblow, because when it's discovered even you that don't join in the eating would be implicated.

You declare both shortage( if you can pay the amount, no need declaring though) and overage. But when this becomes a regular, then it would seem as negligence and could as well result in job loss.

Basically , it should be a case of him paying back the shortage, it doesn't even require escalation, except it has been a regular occurrence. Am surprised he's going to face a panel... Seems a trivial issue to me though and doesn't warrant a sack.

The training may not necessarily be in Marina. Some banks like GTB and Access have their training centres on the mainland, so my advise is for you to hold on with your search until you are expressly told it's in Marina.

A friend of mind who got a call for medical this week was asked by her contact person if she would like to work if any of the south south states because Lagos is filled up. With this statement, I feel the number of prospective employees are far greater than the available space, hence the delay.

I also feel the speed of the recruitment is dependent on the HR contact person.

Meanwhile, today is exactly 1 month and 2weeks after my medicals.

Am touched, this has melted my heart... When my girlfriend, a staunch legionary told me she would spend today doing something like this, I was Mad, cause I had today planned out for us. But that anger had died down now. This are indeed the people that need the love... They are far from love, far from hope, far from joy. If one day can be spent making them happy, it's worth it, it's divine..
