So they said... Basically 1 year is if you are on the fast track program which is 6 months in operation then 6 months in Marketing, else 1 years OPS , 1 year Marketing.... Whichever way everything is subject to appraisal and Management has the final say on this frequently asked question.

Good evening all, Please Mannylex, Waleski, Ivylicious and all those who have passed through UBA training school, we really need to know what's up about it, if possible create a thread on it.. Thanks in anticipation

There is really no need creating a thread on it... Training school runs from 7:30- 6pm... Sometimes 8pm. The training school is a 3 week course. You will have some really interesting classes and also boring ones. You get free breakfast and lunch. You get weekly stipends. You won't use your phone during the course of classes, if caught, it would be ceased and in very few cases, dismissal. You are to adhere to strict dress code, though the ladies have a bit of freedom in dressing. You must score atleast 60 in the final exams after training, anything short of that voids your employment, in actual sense, you are not yet employed if you don't pass training school. So brace up.

But really it's something one can pass as questions come basically from what you were taught.

After training school, the real challenge begins when you resume work. It is tasking I more confess.

It is cbt. About 50 questions or so... Objective and very few subjective.... Pass mark is 70... Read in between the line. Test is passable and also can be failed. About 7 people failed in my set. U have some questions from in house training and also from the consultants.

I got a call from them asking if I have received my medical invite, I told them I haven't , the guy then said it would be sent to me. Still expecting it. Have u gotten urs?

I would assume the 75k job is Zenith bank, as they pay fresh graduates that amount before conversion....

Banking is very stressful, but would go a long way in boosting your career. Working in the HR department is a very big plus, as it would shape your career professionally. Asides the fact that both salaries are nothing to write home about especially in a state like Lagos, working in a nameless company and earning 55k when you have a fairer option would be a terrible idea... Welcome to the regimented life of banking

They should have been sending you email alerts. You may print it and present. You can also print a certificate online or request for a statement of account. Any of them will suffice.

Thanks bruv... The issue is My PFA only send alerts via text... Though I mailed them last week demanding my statement via e-mail. They should send it after the holiday.

Also, as at when I had my interview, I was fresh from NYSC so I negotiated "fairly" when asked about how much i would love to earn. Now I'm currently in the banking sector with over 4 months experience.... Can I renegotiate?
