Any idea how much Stanbic Ibtc pays entry level staff?

I got a mail that same yesterday for documentation.

I was d guy that took the coffe before we started. The second person to be intervied!!

I guess am not the guy (though I backed the window) in question then, cos my interview was a bit late in the afternoon, I got there around 2 was inteviewed at 3pm , just checked up your profile pic, didn't see that face yday. When are you having your documentation?... Is your contact person Oreoluwa?

If you haven't gotten a regret mail, then u have most likely passed. I wrote on same 11th July, got my success mail 2 days ago and interview yday. You will be called. It's in batches.

@Mannylex, how was your interview.

I was supposed to be interviewed today, cuz I got a call to cum for the interview but he told me he wud send an invite but I didn't get the invite and I didn't go for the interview cos I couldn't get venue and time.

Interview went very well... The interviewers were nice and friendly. It lasted over 25-30 minutes and was quite interactive.

And thanks to benedima1990 for giving me hints also. I was asked the question he dropped here.

It's good you study the JD sent to you and some frequently asked interview questions but you must practice some customer care application questions. One of which I know will always come out is

How will you handle an angry customer that walk up to you in the bank.



Another is, how will you handle a situation where a customer complained of a technical fault which you know yourself that you don't know much abt and yiur colleagues are also busy attending to other customers

These questions are important for equiry officer interview

lol... I would go for the interview sha... Training school resumes nextweek, so would resume TS and wait for Stanbic till they send my pre employment offer stuff when I see the proposed salary, only then would I make my final decision... Atleast less anxiety and pressure on my part.

I don't think they have stopped. That has always been the format of their text for TS, but they still pay the weekly stipend.

Not really. ..depends on how u wow dem...I passed through 3 stages during Access bank recruitment without a suit..I only put on a suit wen I wanted to meet their head of HR

Quite surprising. I had same 3 stages of interview with a bank, and we were told beforehand to make sure we wore a suit , reason been that: 1. It's compulsory 2. It forms part of the overall score. At a stage in the interview a guy showed up without suit, the HR contact person asked him to borrow suit from the other candidates before he stepped into the interview room, he emphasized that a suit was not only necessary but compulsory.

Am having challenges as regard the requirements as I can't get some because the last time I earn salary was Jan 2012. I actually went for my masters degree same which ended last year and ever since then I haven't secure a salary pay job. Please how do I go about the following requirements
1 Copy of Offer / Promotion / Confirmation / Salary Review letter; whichever shows your current financial position.

2. Copy of your six (6) previous pay slips.

3. Copy of your previous 12 months Statement of salary account.

4. Evidence of pension contribution.

When did u receive the interview invite? And is this the first mail u would be getting from them since you wrote the test?

Too clingy and being desperate is a turn off for both ladies and guys.... If you don't have a life of your own, you just can't take charge of your emotions and relationship.

Don't be deceived, suit is perfect.
Infact, I like a white shirt, black suit and any tie of your choice. If you know the company's colour, use that for ur tie. Have a good hair cut. Your appearance means a lot especially if ure a fresh graduate.
Once again use your suit!

You couldn't have said it any better.

OP , use a suit, except the job is not really worth it. For any interview with a standard company going there without a suit would only make you look less appealing and presentable.

Hello guys, i remember being in this position not too long ago with a lot of questions and few answers.. So i will quickly put u through based on my experience There are 3 interviews before medicals.. Sometimes phycometric test is omitted, but all must pass through the third interview with an excecutive director before being called for medical(i.e if the interview is successful) i guess you all have to wait for Ed to come to your region before you think of medicals.
There is no fixed time interval for progressing to another level of the interview. It took me over 100 days from first invite before reaching the ED stage(election break Inclusive), some spent over 160 days, while some used only 14 days to complete the whole process before getting to Medicals.. So just be calm and don't think you have been forgotten. At training school, all you need is obedience and hardwork, spare the those days and be very compliant both in attitude and in your studies. You did meet a lot of wonderful people. Finally, at the work place, which is whr i am now, just strive for excellence (which by God's grace) is the passion that reverberates within.

First interview (10 mins) : 1. Let's meet you/ tell me about yourself (2.) How can you fit in?


Second interview (25 mins): 1. tell me about yourself 2. What are your personal development plans 3. Can you fit in/ how can you make an impact

wrote my CBT on Tuesday 28th July and was successful. Waiting for the next phase. When am I likely to get the call for the next stage? Can anyone help?

Mine took 3 days.... Some took 1-2 weeks , worst case scenario 1month. I don't know their procedure for sending out interview invites though.

Forget what the H.R said or didn't say. The same H.R said they will gt back to only those that passed within 5 days but they are doing something very different.follow their previous trend and see that graduate trainee is difft from. Experience hire

If they are different , how come everyone writes same test? And as regards what they said , if you noticed, they aren't doing anything different from what they have done in the past( I believe it's their HR policy for saying they would get back in 1week and do the exact opposite). So sit tight and expect your mail.
