Career › Re: Why Do Narcissist Get Angry When You Decide To Resign From Their Company by ManOfSon: 4:17pm On Mar 08, 2022
irunoko:
really?

Was he expecting that I will work with him for life and not move on to better prospects? Again I thought when a staff is leaving you should get friendly with him instead of barking out in anger.for example, when I tendered my resignation letter to him.i expected him to be happy for me and wish me well but he went into a tirade asking me why I didn't Tell him since morning and why i Told him I want to quit immediately after the meeting.i told him that I wanted everyone to leave so I can discuss with him privately and he said angrily that if I had told him since morning he will have delegated my job to other people instead of now looking and thinking of who will do the job ( in my mind I was like shoo? Na only me Sabi do the work? If I say I no Wan do am again are there not other colleagues who can do the work or are there not others outside looking for job that can do the work) I was expecting a friendly and tense-free communication with him but it was so stressful trying to resign.he then took my letter in a demeaning fashion, read it and demanded I correct it to state the date when I will be leaving.he also Said I should effect the corrections from my work.no show of friendliness as if asking to resign should be something any boss should take offense in.i am shocked and distabilized
You could have got yourself injured or even killed. Narcissists also tend to be extremely violent in a physical manner. Next time, pack your stuff. Go home and never go back. If they ask for your whereabouts, tell them from that safe distance that you're done and won't be returning. But when you consider what's going on in Nigeria today - the absolute wastage and decay in all that's needed to hold the social fabric together- you can't possibly argue with anyone who says majority of Nigerians are narcissistic by nature!

Check it out in another two years or so from now, you'll barely recognize it. I was physically there on the day the Abuja National Stadium was opened. I was completely blown away. The stadium was all shiny and brilliant. I am sure you know what it is like today. Multiply this experience with as many such beautiful structures as are littered across the country and being managed by Nigerians, and you know exactly where this one is headed.
Politics › Re: Is This What Nigeria Has Been Reduced To? One Word For Nigeria In This Picture by ManOfSon: 12:11pm On Mar 05, 2022
chatinent:
Nigeria has been reduced to the dregs. We produce oil but lack fuel. We are over-taxed but no development to show for it. If you have a shop in Nigeria, you'll hate this country. You are heavily taxed from the state to the local government, to the “land owners.”

One time LASEPA were distributing their garbage buckets, they'd go to shops who already have trashcans but insist they re-buy theirs or be sanctioned.

The funniest realities on ground now is you'll see POS operators almost outside every banks! And sometimes, when you think of it twice, you'll withdraw from the POS to avoid insult or another misdemeanor.

We complain of racist treatment outside! Aren't we the ones who will employ Whites with BSc to boss over Nigerians with BSc and the Nigerian will be digging tarred roads in the sun while the White will he supervising?

Aren't we the ones ready to fight for Ukraine for free while Boko Haram is there?

Nigeria wey after NYSC, e come bi like say your own hell done start?

And all you do is choose who to recycle between Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, and Osibanjo? Same people who have once ruled and still kept the country in damnation?

Dem do una?

Isn't Nigeria a bad dream never to happen again?

Little wonder these politicians beat their chest that you cannot do anything to stop their career! Of course, they can achieve the boast with N1000 bribe distributed to you and a promise to empower you with a bike when they come in. Same bike they will come and ban in the metropolis? Or the same bribe they stole from you...your money?

I was watching a video here how a lawyer was assaulted by, I think civil defense, for going to ask why his client's vehicle was ceased. Una don hear about am again? Dem don sanction broadcast agencies not to dare post it again.

Let me give you sth to think about:
1. The killer of Umoren Inibong, the job seeker, wetin don do am?
2. Why hasn't Abba Kyari been paraded by the NDLEA as they do to others on national broadcast?

Reason am o

I see many individuals prefer being nepotistic about who rules them than choosing the right person. Well, in anything you are doing in this life, never let Buhari or anything accepted by Buhari happen to you again.
That Nigerians have turned good old POS into an alternative bank has to be one of the weirdest things in life this century. Every time I think about it, I just shake my damned head. It is crazy, but provides a window into the rent-seeking predilection of the average Nigerians.
TV/Movies › Re: What Is The Most Interesting Movie You Can't Get Tired Watching? by ManOfSon: 10:07pm On Mar 02, 2022
The Godfather. I've bought all the versions - VHS, VCD, DVD, Blu-ray, you name it. Still whenever it's on tv (parts 1 & 2 especially), it feels like I haven't watched it before.
Politics › Re: Lucky Irabor: Some Politicians Want To Lure The Army To Stage A Coup by ManOfSon: 9:24am On Mar 02, 2022
That wouldn't be a surprise at all. Any time it seems the Igbos might eventually give Nigeria a President, a coup happens. As they say, no smoke without fire!
