Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Much Salary Is Enough For Good Living In Nigeria by MansoryMX(m): 5:26pm On Jul 18, 2021
donlet:
Just wondering how much is required for one to have a good life in Nigeria.

Why most of our youths are migrating abroad is because of the unfair advantage of being paid more even doing odd jobs abroad.

So how much can one earn in Nigeria as a salary to be comfortable?

Also I know this might be location dependent.

As people living in lagos, porthacourt and Abuja might have more living expenses.

Also what are other ways to earn if the salaries of available jobs are not enough?

Let's share ideas
10 million naira a week

Thanks for the timely response. All you said won't be taken for granted. Secondly the part I said she takes little things people say to heart is for instance she couldn't go to church last week because all her clothes couldn't enter her cos she has added! So her dad drove off with others now she called me feeling bad that her dad would get home and start saying bad things to her about how she doesn't wants to go to church without trying To understand she that's it's because of the fact she has outgrown her recently sown clothes! Last last , the man came back and didn't even say anything!

More like she gets worried over little things. That's the only issue I've noticed she has.

Secondly, she's the Calm type and even if I cheat she wouldn't know cos she has this 100% trust that I don't cheat( I'm also 95% faithful ) so she doesn't go through my chats like, she has never done that .

Omo abeg I need to call you on the phone , it would be a one time call only it's a promise

It's not like everyone that went to football academy turned out to be a rich pro footballer, or went to acting school became a Hollywood star, or attended a fashion academy became the new Virgil Abloh. So, why do you think you must make it big because you attended university, thereby calling school 'scam'. For every Wizkid there are hundreds of thousands possibly millions of aspiring musicians that never turned millionaires through their music. For every Marcus Rashford there are millions of young footballers that won't make it pro. Y'all making look like you can have it easier in other fields. For me going to university is the easiest legal way to earn a living. You have better chances of being rich as engineer, doctor, etc. than a musician or footballer.

By the world need academics to solve real problems. The world needs engineering, medicine etc. No matter how rich you become through any other field, we need engineers to build roads, bridges, airplanes, electronics. etc.
We need chemists, physicists, etc.

I can bodly tell you that there are more wealthy engineers than musicians in Nigeria.
The country my brother, na the country dey cause this mentality so. Too many graduate out there with no or little job. Even the ones wey still struggle learn skill acquisition are not likely having it green because of little or no capital to establish something. I hope this article was helpful? Please leave us a comment below.
You dey list reasons why people shouldn’t go into fraud they have already seen as a means of livelihood to survive in a harsh economy like Nigeria. A country its government don’t give a shit about her citizens if they survive or die of hunger, a country filled with so much hunger and lawlessness if you don’t have money. No offense, This your article is dead on arrival bro. List how people will survive with a bad and harsh government and watch yahoo reduce. Is like better hungry never beat you for days wey you nor see food chop. I almost vex for you when you say tarnish the country image! Which image?? the one BokoHaram, Fulani herdsmen, corrupt politicians and constant abuse of citizens fundamental human rights are being violated on a daily basis or the one people are being killed daily like fresh catfish in the market for barbecue. Fraud is bad, humans do unthinkable things to survive when hungry. It’s human nature according to Michael Jackson, So do the maths

There is a popular saying that “He who the gods wants to kill, they first of all turn mad”. Buhari should please continue holding those Israelites and even kill them by accident or deliberately. Please educate me!! What are the necessary things to make a marriage work?

I'm asking this question because you said for 4 years you dated your wife she never showed any anger issues while people say we would always see red flags during courtship!

I have a Girl I've been dating for 4yrs now! We do have little misunderstandings once in a while and settle. The thing for now about her I don't like is that she lets little things get to her. For instance you would run to my girl now and complain of how hunger wants to kill you and this my girl fit carry all her money give you! Now since she's always the business type and at the same time waiting for Nysc she spends most of her time making research about possible businesses she can do then one day her brother came in and told her she's always wasting her time every now and then. Next thing she called me feeling bad telling me what the younger brother said soni just have to constantly tell her that whatever anybody does in life there are people who would always talk! The issue now is could there be any other bad side she might have that might spring up after marriage?? Omo I don dey fear this marriage thing!

PLEASE I NEED YOIR ANSWERS!! I DONT MIND CALLING YOU ON PHONE! I have always craved for a successful marriage all my life. I grew up in a loving home where my mum and dad lived a happy life then my mum died and my dad had to remarry Omo my step mum is an amazing woman and supportive but she has anger issues!! And that character almost broke the marriage. Well they've been married since 2005 and I must say my dad patience has been the reason they're still married although truthfully she has reduced her madness but I don't wanna go into that kind of marriage!
You have a case study right under your nose and that case study is your Dad. Bro! the truth is we have two type of women. Quarrelsome, anger or calm. Most times as a man we can never fully know about a woman until marriage. This is the truth we as men don’t want to admit. My wife never exhibited one bit of anger all through our courtship. One tools I use on people aside my wife is that I expect the least from people, that way I don’t expect too much and not get disappointed in full. A woman’s character sometimes is like that of a Lioness with Cubs. I highlighted something you said. “ she lets little things get to her.” That’s an anger factor in a person and not just a woman. People with this character are usually stubborn people who loves to have a pound of flesh back when someone hurts them intentionally or unintentionally. They are usually loving and have a golden heart of giving but once they put on that coat of anger, once anyone flips that anger switch on by accident! All hell will let loose and you begin to ponder if this is same loving person. MARRIAGE ISN’T FOR THE WEAK AND FAINT HEARTED! I will continue to say this because I am in it and I know how it feels. You said your dad’s patience helped saved his marriage to your step mom. That is one of the best tools in marriage. Another important tools is learning to keep mute when angry, learning to ignore words that might trigger you into a beast mode rather listen to her when she is angry. If you are angry and can’t take it, take a walk and listen to some good music. Me personally I read books a lot. I am not saying I don’t get angry, I do. It’s human nature but I keep quiet as much as I can because once you say something nasty to someone you love, you can’t take back your words even if you apologize. Women differs, some are so attentive that if you cut your nails they will notice! My wife is such. She monitors the shit outta me despite 3 kids to distract her attention towards me so I dare not mess up. She will definitely caught my ass! So that aspect is a no no for me. I have friends whose wife don’t know their phone password. Friends whose wife isn’t attentive towards them to know when their husband is cheating on them. Mine will catch me so I don’t do what others are doing because I know it will be the end of my marriage. The girl you are dating right now might be the attentive type or not. That’s for you to find out. For you be to a good man in your marriage even if you marry a quarrelsome or quiet woman. You need learn some things like patience, learning to control your mood, never use abusive words or yell at a woman on your own and build yourself. Lastly never hit a woman, the day you do that you become less of a man and it take a great deal for any woman to forgive you. I don’t know what else to say. Just be good.

I will let you in on a little secret I think has helped me a lot. Reading! I read books! I find time to read books that can shape my life as a married man. A lot of people don’t read books anymore. The moment they graduated from school that is the end for them. They forget the moment you stop reading, you stop learning and when you stop learning what happens next? You stop building yourself mentally and psychologically.

Hello guys.... I don't just know.. Is it just me or is there anything I don't understand......my parents are rich people especially my dad, I know that for sure... someone paying #950,000 naira per year as school fees for me aside other expenses, plus multiple houses and lands I can't even keep count of....

How come they are this stingy? There is no time I would ask them for money for my own personal well being or any of my personal needs that they would like to assist me. I once ask mum for #12,000 naira just to buy a fairly used android phone (when I know they can even afford me an iPhone x) but she told me I should wait till months end before she gives me saying there is no money on ground... it's five months now and still nothing (not waiting for it though)...

Then I ask my dad, he told me I don't need an android phone... telling me that phone makes people unserious and other types of bulls*it( a 19 year old student for that matter)

Any expenses that is not book or academic related is not important...my parents would rather buy clothes for me than give me money to buy clothes... sometimes I end up not wearing some of them..

The funniest part is that, anytime I take any urgent lie(Asin scam) about any payment in school...they wouldn't Waits a second to send it to me... This has got me telling all sorts of lies just to get what I know can be gotten honestly.. It has even gotten to the point that any money that enters my hand now, I use it to play sports betting to see if I can get enough money for what I need, but I end up loosing the money...I am just frustrated.. someone time I wish I didn't even have rich parents cos what's the point...
Just negodu this 19 years old brat. You foolish and ungrateful child! Please repeat what you just said about your parent being stingy?

I get you now. But people believe so called "Love" should encompass all the things you listed. I mean if you love someone one you should respect them, give them peace of mind, be understanding etc. Except when you mentioned love earlier you meant "emotional feelings" or "butterflies in the stomach" or "infatuation"
Lemme correct you there. In today’s world, Love is totally different from everything you and I listed. Humans have evolved and keeps evolving on daily basis. The mentality and average African man or woman has towards so 50 years ago is different from today’s world. But if there is one tools that keeps marriage, it isn’t love or money and offsprings but the many of few things I listed.

its a good thing you found a temporary solution to her madness. my late aunt used to advise us then that the best way to handle a woman when they get nasty is just to walk out of the house and go cool off outside. but there are some that have evolved and now go the extra mile to either cease your car keys or prevent you from leaving the house when they start their wahala, only very few men can tolerate this.

I have a colleague that did the exact same thing. He left his house he built with millions of naira to go stay in a short let apartment at Lekki- for peace of mind. He left the wife and kids in the house and makes sure they lack nothing financially.

Him leaving the house was better to avoid him committing murder or something of the sort. The dudes work output in the office fell drastically, he was emaciated and seriously depressed before making that decision. Now she is begging him to come back to the house cheesy

I value my peace of mind over anything.
If you stand a minute arguing with a woman you have wifed you will lose your sanity and go into a dark place you didn’t know is buried deep inside you. It’s best you walk away and go cool off as a man.
Family › Re: Another Marriage About To Crash. by MansoryMX(m):

Reflect on this. There are women out there that will push you beyond your integrity to release the monster chained inside of you before she can submit to you, this set of women are usually the street types, that have seen so many weak men that when they come across a strong man, they doubt and assume he is faking strength.

If it ever comes to this, understand that letting her go is far better than making her a victim of your ferocity. You don't win a battle to lose the main war. What's the point of making a damaged woman respect you manually when you can get a good one that will do it automatically? You can't change her. From the street she cometh, and whence, she shall return.
I understand everything you said. In my own case 3 adorable offspring is in the middle of all this crisis. If a man stands and argues or quarrel with a woman it will lead to fighting and hitting which is usually the mind game of every troublesome woman. Me personally don’t have that time. I married a stubborn woman who has anger issues. She never showed it in 4 years we dated, not once did we quarrel but after two months of marriage everything came out and i almost lost my sanity. She is a good wife, yes. She is th best mother to my kids, yes but she has anger issues. Do i divorce her or repair? What about our kids? Am I ready to walk down that line?

I hope someone read this. When it comes to marriage love, sex and money isn’t enough. If anyone wants to go into marriage because of these 3 things I just mention then that person is making a huge mistake. Especially love, love is not enough when it comes to why a marriage works

Why does the society see men hitting women as bad thing but women cursing and abusive as normal.

A woman who curses and abuses you will still have the nerve to ask you for money.

Am not a perfect man..... I have my flaws but I am careful with words because I know what bad words can do to people.

Should a man be forced to stay with a woman who curses, abuses and threatens to get him arrested if he touch her despite you have never lay a finger on her in 3yrs of marriage.

People are telling me she is doing it due to anger that she doesn't mean it......am told to avoid making her angry and is that possible.
She gets me angry most times but I just leave the house and go cool off...
I have tried to teach her the act of keeping quiet in moment of anger but she never learns

She is permitted to rain curses and abuses on me because she is a woman and am expected not to react because that's how most women behave.

At this junction have made up my mind to divorce her.....I never wished for this but I can't take this ...... many people see this character of most women as normal (am told there power is in the mouth) but I can't.

Lastly men please avoid women raised by single mother they come with venom and naturally demage psychological...they will take revenge on you for their father's sins.
Marriage isn’t for the weak. As I am talking to you this very minute, I am not in my house. Na still same quarrel and insults cause am, even when I choose to be quiet. Like someone said, women are the originator of domestic violence. As mine start her madness I jejely kiss our kids, carry my bag and ball go one side go cool off. You can push me to that dark place that I will start hitting you. Naaaa, lemme enjoy my small quiet and bachelor time, I can’t come and go and kill myself cheesy

If you will be honest with yourself, you will admit that you are responsible for the situation that you are in. There is possibly no way she didn't show these behaviours before marriage, but you ignored and ringed her fingers. So why the shock? Marrying her was you implicitly acknowledging that her behaviours were acceptable. But there is a solution, and it is to divorce her. It is even easier since you do not have a child together.

Women from an existential perspective are weaker vessels, and the characteristic of the weak is exploitation, which she is doing perfectly well. Tolerating, ignoring, and leaving the house, etc won't make her stop her disgusting behaviours, instead, she would double up to determine the extent of the abuse she can get away with, while assured that you will tolerate it from her. It also seems that she does not have any fear of losing you, which is a problem in itself. For example, my spouse may decide that she would torment my life henceforth, but she knows I won't accept it, and that would instantly end our relationship. The fear of losing me is enough deterrent to keep her in check. And for a woman to fear losing you, she needs to see the value you hold.

The battle is usually won before the war, and if you lay your mat right, you won't be passing through these problems at all, since it's a foundational problem by nature. You know your situation better, so go and iron it out. You need to look at things honestly and be sure you want real changes. If there are any bad behaviours that you do to her, and you know to be genuinely wrong, stop it. You can not point fingers at her, while immune yourself from your wrong deeds. And do not relent in those qualities that made you attractive to her, that is what will bring respect, keep her in check, and makes you infinitely attractive. Stay strong.
I respect you bro. I needed this advice right now ah swear. Op they learn for wetin I dey go through. These can bring out the beast in a man if one isn’t careful

Everything happening right now has been pre-planned by Islam extremists who have hijacked our government, who have hijacked sensitive positions in our government and our armed forces. Bandits are Islamic tools used by these people. Fulani foot soldiers killing people are Islamic tools used by these same people and lastly BokoHaram or ISWAP whatever they call themselves are their number Islamic tools they are using to cause destruction all over Nigeria. Now the real question is how do you stop violence once you have achieved your aim using violence? The end results are all these kidnappings we are seeing today.
