The duo who broke into the Music Industry as winners of the 2002 Star Quest, KC Presh are back with a new album titled "No Time". The album is expected to be released sometime in the last quarter of this year. But the really interesting thing is that, it will not be released under the Kennis Music imprint. Why? The duo are reportedly starting up their own record label called KP Records. Is there beef with Kenny & D1? The answer is no! The duo claim that it was just time to move on. That's not all Kc Presh is up to, they also plan to unveil their own company called Sio Nkpo Entertainmnet. And have reportedly concluded arrangements with Cross River TV station (C.R.B.C) to kick off a music program dubbed: 'Trip With KC Presh'. |
It's quite a sad news but, it is real! Nollywood, and Fans of the now late, J.T Tom West mourn as the actor died Thursday morning in an undisclosed hospital as a result of a motor accident. The rivers state-born actor and single father of one, accompanied by two of his colleagues were returning from a shoot late into the night on Tuesday, when, their vehicle reportedly lost control, somersaulting several times. Luckily the accident was witnessed by some passersby who immediately rescued the victims from the wreckage and took them to a hospital. Unfortunately, Tom West didn't make the road to recovery like those in his company who are reportedly responding to treatment. Tom West reportedly died as a result of internal bleeding. |

Tuface is naturally talented as musician no doubt, he'll still make waves but, I don't think as much as the debut solo album was. I heard from a reliable source he did a song in this new album with Sparkle. I wish him the best! |
I think if we're talking about a Nigerian artist that has retrogressed over the years, it will definately be Tony Tetuila. The new album is out but, who cares, who wants to waste his cash on something not worth listening to. It is time Tony realises the fact he's not talented as musician and find something better to do with his life. |
Ruggedman definately gets the naija dance floor moving and, Modenine with the bravest lyrics for now still gets ya head bobbing.

Modenine has never for once being against commercial albums nor rapping in pidgin but, going wack to be commercial. For the fact he said he'll drop a commercial album does not mean he has compromised his set standard. He can still be commercial but still more real than ever; just the beats that gets one still bobbing with incredible lyrics and eloquent flows to get deeper into the hearts of Nigerians and the wide world, this will even bring better opportunity to sanitize the hiphop world. |
Modenine in a recent radio interview said, 'even your grand mum will go for modenine's next album'- that is to show he really wants to go commercial as he promised in Spazmodic, and that he has being misunderstood by many who think he's against pidgin raps which he's not- only wackness. Another interesting thing is that, Ruggedman's next album will be out before Mode's so, incase of any diss from Rugged as it's speculated, mode will definately reply. After all, in the same radio interview, he said 'I'm being silent because my name has not been mentioned yet'. |
Hear Mode in a recent radio interview "even your grand mum will like to by mode's next album" and on the anticipated Rugged diss at him, he said "my name has not been mentioned yet, I'm waiting to hear it mentioned". Modenine's Pentium IX(a fresh mixtape) with 21 tracks is out and hot. The production is basically done by Jonah the Monarch with songs like 'Pentium IX', 'Gentle Wind' and 'Pains' featuring Amaka of the Thoroughbred, Pissing me off, King of the Jungle, Blimey, Underground King feat. Cashino, Spazmodic feat. Terry the Rapman etc. Mode in spazmodic promise that his next album soon to be out later this year will be 'commercial'. who know if it got some club bangers going by the calibre of producer his is working with presently (Cobhams, Jonal the Monarch and Paul Play) on the much anticipated album titled “E pluribus unum” (one amongst many). |

Seun:I'm looking for the wings so we can fly away I'm coming cos I need you to know how much I need you For the skies drop the dew every time I see you Few have got what you've got, won't be wrong to say- non does And pondering where you come from came to me the revelation. Oh, she's an angel(she's an angel) Oh come from heaven, Oh angelica (angelica) She's an angel(she's an angel) My heart knows ease when I'm around your breeze (when I'm around your breeze) Cool pull that gets me full in a brand new boom Well, I'vecome to the end of searching for the one whose made to love forever? And to be loved with all and all Oh, she's an angel(she's an angel) Oh come from heaven, Oh angelica (angelica) she's an angel (she's an angel) Don't pass me by if you go I could die, don't want to be wondering about Put me in the light of your heart, of your life: in ministering spirits and flaming fire(s) Oh, oh, oh, Oh, be my angel, (be my angel) oh, come from heaven Oh angelica (angelica) be my angel (be my angel) Come from heaven, come from heaven, come from heaven, come from heaven I'm looking for the wings so we can fly away. |

I also tip Age Beeka ahead of the others, though very tight too. The 'Bottled up', 'Angelica', and 'Girl of my dreams' tracks are so tight. I also heard he has got a new album out titled 'collecting flowers' any info? |
Both Ruggedman and Modenine are good in the game of rap. While Ruggedman produces joints mostly for the naija market though very tight, Modenine does his more general. I've heard Ruggedman is about bringing out 'ehen pt 2' aimed at dissing Modenine and thorough bred, I wonder how the lyricist Mode will take it though. |
Blackface of the plantation boys, the guy behind 'hardlife' I know him so well and like his music too. But, I haven't heard of the nu joint 'ahead of the game'. I only know he as a member of the TRYBUNAL released an album titled 'what we are'- I'm so anxious to hear any thing new from him. |
While there is so much curiousity in the air by fans as to the realease of another album, this versitile Benue born Tuface Idibia, has released the first single off his highly-anticipated sophomore album. The song, titled 'For Instance', was first played on Ray Power 100.5 FM, and is already enjoying airplay on other radio stations. But, like his debut album, Face2Face, this current effort has not really had a big reception but may pick up as was the case the last time. If you have been priveleged to hear the track, let us know what you feel and your general conception of the whole album. |
