pjogutum1: @buklan4real@yah: He used my own name for applying for d lottry,
but wen he was registry it on line he choose married for me. the result came out
lucly i won.

u knw after seeing ur status u have to further on the form to fill nd send to KCC.
we havent filled d form cos i didnt agree to go with dat guy.. i told him to let me nd my fiance go nd i will pay him
since am d pricipal applicant.

I havnt filld d form yet.

From your answers, It is clear that the agent did not use married for you during the initial entry, because if he did he would have used someone’s photo at the derivative aspect. The agent having known that you won only wants to attach a man to you in other to make more money. My candid opinion is get your 1NL from him if he refuses, go here https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/%28S%28blc0gi45b3thjo45nn2sg2ql%29%29/Secure/StatusCheck.aspx to get your 1NL with the details you provided during the entry, with that you can proceed with the remaining process incase you get confused anywhere feel free to ask questions. Cheers hope this helps?.
I doubt if she could retrieve the confirmation number because it the secure site requires the email address used during registration... Most agents used theirs but there is nothing to loose in giving it a trial!
My advice to the lady is to stand on her feet, don't accept to be merged, think about your age, if you're lucky to be issued visa, it will take 5+ before you can divorce legally and file for your present spouse... Compensate the agent in some other way.
A word!

worry 359: ManTiger I-diot Mumu fool!!!!
Like so many Nigerians you want to start off with a lie then continue to make thing worse.
ritze
Your Coz has done the correct thing by including wife and kids on first application.
It is common for people to live together without marriage (this is called common law wife)
The thing will be convincing visa official that it is real and not just conveniance.
Any documents that support will help.
What about letter from priest or official that knows you.
But tell honest story and you are closer to visa than lie which may cause ban as well.
First, how old are you? its either you're older than me but your action proves you're not so i will be cool with you like my little siblings.
@bolded:I wonder why you cannot comprehend little sentence, the guy said the have no document!
Even if you dislike my input, you could just discredit it without using abusive words. If you had been in the house for a longer period, you would have seen different peoples interview experiences. We've seen people who could not prove the ingenuity of their marriage and were denied while we've also seen someone who did a sham wedding and was issued the visa.
Finally, boy, never in your life call me names, you can discredit my input through your logical input.
Travel › Re: I Want To Leave Nigeria by ManTiger(m): 6:12pm On May 27, 2013
I have this little input...
Create a CV on MonsterJOB, Jobnican, Jobberman,Craiglist et al.
Let your CV look so simple.
Apply for very low rated Jobs like construction labourer, farm attendant/supervisor et al.
Call the employer who list any of the intended job to show your interest as well as your location (Just say you reside in West Africa, many now synonically term Nigeria to terror state).
No matter how bad the job is, just accept the offer (it could be your stepping stone).
Your LMO (in-case of Canada) will be email to you while you proceed to procure your visa.

This method is proven to get unskilled jobs in Canada, Iceland and Denmark (Language barrier).
You may try it in the next harsh weather... wink wink wink

blackborn7: Chairman plz forget about the English expression and question..what we need is peace in the north, the army are not fools to know the havoc air strike will cause..all what we need is to kill those cock roaches, air strike or no air strike LET There be PEACE!
I understand you clearly and i want peace as much as every Nigerians want it but of what significant will an air strike be compare to the damage and ratio of terrorist and civilians to be killed in a single strike?
Remember, US has an option of air strike but went in and killed Osama even without recording a single casualty.
Politics › Re: Troops To Launch Air Strikes On Boko-Haram by ManTiger(m): 9:52am On May 17, 2013
ocelot2006: 'don't know what "EIA" stands for. I believe you're refering to Battle Damage Assessment (BDA).
Yeah, in my field, we call it EIA.
Politics › Re: Troops To Launch Air Strikes On Boko-Haram by ManTiger(m): 9:32am On May 17, 2013
hmmm, air strike abi kinla?
does that means they've located their camp(s)?
Has reconnaissance survey has been carried out?
Has EIA of the aftermath air strike has been carried out?
What is the ratio of the damage on the part of the civilians?
Com'on Boko Haram is still faceless and for all i know, i will never assume an average Hausa as one
So also i'll never assume an average Muslin North as Boko Haram.
Launching an air strike attack on Boko Haram is like saying, "yes, we've gotten their camp and the damage on the civilian will be minimal". I think a small assault group (not the type of Tiger Squadron that couldn't arrest Ombaste priest ) will do the Job perfectly. Locate their hide-out, take no prisoner, snuff the life out of their body!
I repeat take no prisoner, all they know is how to die, then show them how to die alone!

justwise: The point he raised is irrelevant and will not help anybody here, it will only cause conflict and derail this thread.

Yes anybody copying and riposting that material is rekindling the conflict, i couldn't put it any clearer.
That was why i bolded some of the write-ups to be empirically verified, that's what a forum is all about. Nobody is an island of know?

The bolded part is as well not called for. The guy raised some salient points which i bolded, this is a public forum with constellations of ideas.

maasoap: Hello house, I have contacted about 3 nairalanders about my case but no headway yet. So I decided to throw it to the full house, and your timely contribution will be appreciated.
Experts in the house: my concern is that I applied for DV2014 as a married, and I also applied for my wife as a married. I didn't win but my wife won. The problem is that I registered for her using her maiden name as her last name. It was my idea that she should keep her maiden name as her last name since she was still searching job to make it easy for her during job interviews. I haven't sent our forms to KCC but can I stick to using her maiden name for her as her last name? I don't want to even go for affidavit of change of name now so as not to make it looks suspicious. But my worry is that can we scale through as couples using different family names? What is our chances? Can we really convince them? Because l don't think my wife is ready to go without me.
We have a daughter but I don't want to include her for now, she won't go with us for convenience and partly due to financial constraints. Any advice on these two issues. We married in 2011 and our daughter is a year old this month. We haven't gone to registry yet, only religion aspect done. No intl passports yet. We haven't sent our forms yet, still waiting for best advice. (Can my wife go alone as single so as not to waste it all together?) Any other question will be answered if you ask.
Thanks.
For every problem there is a solution... i think i've got one for you, sharing soon.
