jaystunt: I am the first born in a family of 6 but I hardly ever get the honour or respect that a first born is entitled to.
I'm what u can refer to as a 'figure head' as my dad who's never scared to show his favoritism to my immediate brother thinks he as the 'real deal', hence leaving me relegated to the background. He(my brother) was not quite good with his books but skilled with his hands, and I was the opposite. My dad is a sucker for people like that but to do it in his home at the detriment of his first child is what I've been grappling with for over 20yrs of my life.

Right from when we were very young my kid bro has been very close to my dad and when I got to secondary school and subsequently the uni, it only made the gap btw him and myself wider. We never got together like a father and child do. I remember poisoning myself in junior high when I just couldn't cope with the situation.

Fast forward 5yrs after college, the family split only (a yr ago). Dad relocated to Ibadan and I and my two brothers stayed put in Lagos but in my apartment. He visits every month, but I see nothing changed in the way he behaves towards me.

Only recently I got to know he's about selling one of his houses out. He gave my immediate brother the papers and the all clear to sell It. When I got wind of the information, I wept like a baby as I never thought he could do that to me.
My immediate brother knows pretty well that dad is on his side and hardly respects me in my own flat. It's even gotten to a stage where I feel like throwing him out. He's such a nuisance this days to me not because I'm jealous but his disregard for me as his senior.

I'm a year older but his attitude towards is dat of an elder brother to his junior. My dad still gets things from me but his loyalty and love rests on my brother.

I honestly don't know what to do to get this depression of me.

Guys how can I stay and lead a happy life amidst dis mess! Pls help!

If your CN is around 17k. Expect your interview on the first week of June, 18k+ to 19k second ; third and fouth week of June respectively.

@OP, 7days is not enough for the marriage stuff o.
She must stay for atleast 90days or more.
If she comes and and stays for 7days and left after which you've been to the registry, the CO might not be convinced that your relationship is genuine, try and research more in the stuff.

When the man died, we approached the bank and after we met all the requirement, we were told that the man only maintain one account and has never open a current account. they told us that the amount in the saving is about 800k. luckily we found the Old man's cheque book and some stuffs in his diary and we're still on the issue since April last yr.

bolphine: Dear Nairalanders,i need ur help.An agent played dv2012 lottery for me and my family but the guy used so many ladies to play the lottery.When the result came out he told me we won as a family.He asked for our passport photographs which we provided.Unknowing to me that he fraudulently played multiple entries for us with different applicants.It was later he told me i won with two differnt ladies as my wife and two kids.The ladies are the principal.He persuaded me that the embassy will not find out that if they do i should tell them that the other lady was my ex wife.He arranged a wedding and other stuffs between the second lady and i.But i was not comfortable with the whole situation.He did the same thing with my legal wife by merging her with a guy that won as a single.We went for the interview last year in September but we were denied because they were doubting the genuine of the marriage and we were unable to present divorced document when we were asked to produce it.My wife was suppose to go for her own interview with the guy the following week but i stopped her from appearing at the embassy.Pls,my question is how do i go about this to correct the whole thing because already we av our documents with the embassy and can i play a lottery with my legal wife again?

From what ou said, it seems both you and your wife won...?
U made the righ decision by stopping your wife, you could have only live to regret the whole thing.
As for now, you have just a little problem, i'll suggest you keep playing as single or betterstill if you play with your wifey, you will need a big courage to convince the CO that your marriage is genuine.
