I won the previous edition of the Visa lottery, went through the process and got my visa.

I got married to my then fiancee weeks before i left Nigeria with the hope of filling for her thereafter.

Out of curiosity and Since application for 2014 edition closes before my interview, i entered for the 2014 Visa lottery which result came out few days ago as married and also WON.

Whats the faith of this outcome as it concerns my wife, since i played as married and i am already in the US as a beneficiary of an existing 2013 DV Visa?.

engyadewale: Hello good people of this fabulous forum, please I want to know the particular order that a DVlottery interviewee should arrange his or her documents when going for the interview. For those we have had their interviews, what is the most preferred documents arrangement?

bigfrancis21: I've thought about that jump in number too. I could only come up with one reason for that. The DV lottery people sense that the program may no longer be around till the ending of this year and seeing that they got not much time left they decided to select a sufficient amount of winners to ensure that they are able to get the 50,000 people they need to fill up the visa allocation. This number they selected so that if the program gets eliminated now now, they still have a lot to ensure that they allocate all 50,000 visas. If you notice they never mentioned anything like checking back again in October for a second batch selection like they used to do in previous years.

Maybe the extra 25,000 they used to select in October in previous years, they've already selected them now now.

Texas (my 2nd host) is where i hav decided 2 go & i hav Dallas Texas (1st billing address) & Edo State Nigeria (2nd billing address) as where i shall receive my GC.
