Abacha is a delicacy loved by many. There are various different ways of preparing Abacha, in this video i used 'ngu' from palm fronds as the thickener. Its a healthy alternative that allows you enjoy the Abacha without upsetting your stomach especially for those with sensitive stomach.

Abacha is also known as the African salad. You can recreate this and enjoy the richness of our African heritage.

Ingredients:

Abacha
Ngu
Smoked Mackerel fish aka Titus
Kpomo
Crayfish
Ukpaka (Ugba)
Garden eggs leaves
Garden eggs
Utazi
Onions
Tomatoes
Pepper
Ehuru seeds (peel the back or grind till smooth)
Palm oil

Please note that the link in your signature (the one that's suppposed to lead to YouTube) doesn't have the ".com" part and is not leading to your YouTube channel.

I had to visit your profile and click the one there (which is correct) before I could see your channel.

Please try to correct this.

Your channel is nice, BTW and I'm glad it's growing.

I have eaten abacha a few times and truly, it was nutritious.

Plus the ingredients have very great benefits. For instance, the antioxidants in chili diets protect against a variety of ailments, including cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and anemia.

Agriculture / Re: Price Of One Ton Of Unrefined Shea Butter by Manuelcrc(m): 1:05am On Mar 25, 2022
Earthstorms:
Do you have international buyers for Shea butter?

Yes Sir, we do.

Are you a supplier/seller or buyer?
Agriculture / Price Of One Ton Of Unrefined Shea Butter by Manuelcrc(m): 10:38am On Mar 23, 2022
The unit price of Grade A Shea Butter depends on a host of different factors including:

- The grade of the produce (usually the more the processing, the higher the price)
- The price of the raw material
- Age of the Shea butter (this can affect the price)
- The quantity ordered (the greater the quantity, the cheaper you can get it per ton)
- Harvest season (it is more costly when it is out of harvest season).
- Freight & haulage cost
- Percentage of markup
- Import duties
- Distance from the country of origin
- Technology/Infrastructure available in country of origin
- Relationship between the buyer and seller

That said, as at October 2021, Grade A (unrefined) shea butter costs between $2,200 and $2,600 per metric ton (1,000 kilograms) i.e. $2.2/kg to $2.6/kg.

Every naija website owner is just looking for a caption to put on his or her web page to get or start getting visitors. Clicking on the link following the post, you will see that the continue to tunnel you to links that does nor have something in common with the post.
Just like the post that said an OAU or AOU student transgendered. But googling for the list of transgendered people, you will not see such person, neither will you see any transgendered nigerian. However, when you google you will see that it is only naij websites that had that post because it originated from a Nigerian website.
I urge naijas to please post true stories. Anyways, l don't even take any story or believe any news from naija site. They are rubbish.

blym4real:

I checked their website at ubagroup.com to check their current dollar exchange rate wh ich was #200, I already know it will be higher than that in reality but I wasn't expecting it to go beyond #210 which made me proceed to make some online payment and to my greatest suprise I was charged #226 per dollar.

Let's assume that you are new to the whole business thing and you luckily had an opportunity to ask Dangote 3 questions, what will you likely ask him?

Thanks.

Webmasters / Re: Why Do Nigerians Hate Commenting On Tech Blogs? by Manuelcrc(m): 5:17pm On May 28, 2015
Matthewbriggs:

The problem is not from tech writers but from the readers.

1. Majority of them are not comfortable with technology related discussion, when did we start using technology in the first place. In other not to make a fool of them selves they simply do not comment.

2. Most people mostly go to technology blogs to learn and know what's happening but are not keen at been part of the discussion because technology related discussion is way out of their league. Have you ever asked why people doze off in maths class.

3. They simply do not care about technology of find it interesting.

As for me I would rather create technology than talk about it.

Exactly, it seems very few people care about technology in Nigeria. They consume technology (they buy the latest phones and drool about the latest cars) but are not really interested in HOW these things work.

On NL, two of the loneliest forums I've visited are those for programmers and web enthusiasts.

This explains why we remain a bunch of consumers.

This is wonderful news...I have followed your journey for some time and I am thrilled at this news. And since I have been on the lookout for an opportunity like this, I will ask quite a few questions, please bear with me.

1. What would you regard as your best business investment?

2. What is the best advice you have ever received from someone?

3. Who or what is your greatest inspiration?

4. If you were to start all over again, what three things will you do first?

5. People relate with your success but very few people know how it all started. Can you tell us what inspired you to take the entrepreneurship path?

6. When did you know that you were up to something big? How did you know that Hotels.ng was making impact?

7. What other milestones have you achieved you reached (with Hotels.ng or on a personal note)?

8. What are the greatest challenges or failures you have faced and how did you bounce back from them?

9. You have had many opportunities, some of which you failed to take. Which one(s) do you do you regret most?

10. Where do you see yourself in 1 year? 5 years? 10 years?

11. What three things (or which three people) have been most essential to your success story?

12. What do you look out for in people before hiring them? Who is your model employee?

13. You are different things to different people, but what is that thing about you that people don’t know about?

14. What is your favourite business website (apart from hotels.ng obviously)?

15. What does a typical day in your life look like?

16. You have written posts on TechCabal, Forbes, Medium and co, and you also tweet regularky, but where else do you hang out online?

Finally, am I permitted to post your replies on my blog?

bizfirst:
The real question/issue is between developing a site from scratch or simply using the Wordpress CMS.

My experience is that computer scientists and web developers are in the habit of labeling WP as insecure, hack-prone etc. The reasons are best known to them...or maybe, it's simply because they've got business interests to protect.

In summary, WP (or CMS powered sites) are as secure as the skill of the person behind their existence - so are sites built from the scratch. What is important is that you know what you are doing...

Simple.

This is very true bizfirst, Popular websites like CNN and BestBuy are based on WordPress...A website can only be as secure as the knowledge of the people behind them.
