Settled for a Nigerian used Hyundai Accent. the previous owner, a friend to a friend, assured me that the engine will last me.

And sure it has. Bought it at 75k millage, now approaching 200k millage and still overtaking Corolla

I am currently using this LPG system on my 2900 Sumec generator that I bought recently, I bought the LPG/PMS carburetor for 12k at Trade fair market Lagos.
I filled my 12.5 kg gas cylinder for 7000 naira,(Satellite town, Lagos)and used it for 2 and half night to test the system.
The LPG system on 12.5 kg cylinder @ 560 naira/kg will give you about 30 hours uninterrupted power on 2900 generator, that is about 234 naira/ hour.

Things to note:

(1) You need at least 3 yards of gas hose to connect from the gas regulator on the cylinder to the carburetor on the generator.

(2) I tested the carburetor with a naked flame when the gas regulator is open to see if it leaks and the flame didn't ignite, meaning that it is even safer than PMS.

(3) The carburetor choke needs to be open always, as with PMS system you need to close the choke handle to start the generator then turn it to run when it starts, but the choke handle needs to be turned to run always when you are using LPG.

(4) When you want to switch off the generator, just turn off the generator on/off switch, then turn off the LPG regulator.

(5) Always use quality engine oil( I use Mobil) if possible buy from the filling stations, it makes your engine to last longer.

LPG is more cheaper to use than PMS.

As long as car get 17inch rim size, me I no go add any other height to d car again, I go drive am as factory do am

I'm torn between these two cars and I will like opinions from those who have used or had experience with these cars.

The car will be used majorly for running around town with occasional trips .
I need something that is rugged, durable and can handle daily usage.

I want something mild on gas,( subsidy removal no be joke).

I have some worries about both cars and will want expert opinions about these issues.

The ground clearance for the MB ain't good enough but I love the handling of this brand.
For the honda, I'm worried about the front tyres popping off, coupled with transmission issues.
The honda has more spacious interior though.

Las las, which is easier to maintain?

Pls help with your knowledge.

Don't just like all these Toyota carton, reason I am not really looking at Camry.... Have used several of them, especially the 2013 Camry, the moment you get to 120km the car becomes very light

I also noticed that when I put gear to drive, the drivetrain jerks forward at engagement, and jerks backwards when put on reverse. But transmission runs and changes smoothly. I feel the engagements shouldn't be too noticeable. It's like a clunk. I also feel same clunk when driving and i suddenly hit the accelerator. It feels like something hits the car from underneath. What could it be.

Might be transmission mount or check rear engine mount

Very quick to mention Japanese car, op never asked to compare reliability and safety with a Japanese, you just pulled up to show you are "benz" geng. Why not talk about others, like Chinese gac or American Ford or just stick with "it is very reliable and safe"?

When i slow down or come to a halt..
If I'm driving and put it in park when there's holdup and switch to drive when it's time to move the accelerator wont respond immediately.
There's a delay. Then it suddenly responds and jumps forward
The vehicle wont respond when i need to accelerate.
Takes sometime

I noticed it usually happens during rainy season or when the car passes through water.

When I'm driving. If i slow down during traffic or come to a stop, when i try to accelerate after the engine stalls
It stalls for a few seconds then jerks forward and respond to the accelerator.
The engine check and trac off indicator lights come up
..
I have changed the fuel pump, topped up the transmission fluid, cleared and replaced the engine oil but still.
When you drive it for some time the issues then stops and it moves freely.
But once i park for a while and drive again it happens

The stalling only happens intermittently for some time and doesn't happen when I'm speeding.
Only when i slow down, come to a stop and try ro accelerate again.
When i took it for scanning i think the error message was PO200 I need to confirm though.

I need a good autocare shop in surulere axis so i can deal with this once and for all
