Go for the accord, once you have a honest mechanic check it out, parts are cheap, available and it's a modern design than the Camry and more reliable than the Mazda.
Just give it proper maintenance.

I drive a benz c230 2006.
Whenever I drive, I get an MPG of 18 to 19MPG.
Three days ago, I gave my friend the car and I sat on the front passenger seat while he drove us. When we checked the MPG on the dashboard, I was surprised to see 27MPG. So I'm curious, I know it'd be the driving pattern. He is a better driver than I am. I have called on him to come to my place to teach me how he's driving.

I want to know how you drive to save fuel. I need to start saving fuel while I drive.

You throttle hard, I don't rev past 3000rpm while driving on mainroad, even in the streets I don't throttle sef, just release the brake and let the car roll, if I wants to climb I throttle softly.
Entering the mainroad sef 1500rpm - 2500rpm highest,
When you drive like this for a week, you'll notice your car would be quieter, smooth gear change, fuel efficient and always clean when it rains.

I got a very good mechanic who stayed in my house to carry out the repair work on my car. As you had advised, the environment is clean and I was involved to ensure no contamination on the constant velocity (CV) joint. The bearings were discovered to be bad while an inspection on the 'cup' showed no sign of dent or any damage.The bearings were replaced and my Camry drives very well with no single vibration.

Price of the Mobil 1 5W30 stays the same almost every time on Amazon and if changes maybe it rise with like 2 to 3 dollars and sometimes the price comes lower too.. it naira that is going up. People selling for 20k might have stuck it in when the rate was like 700 to a dollar like he said. Even currently now with the high dollar rate to naira it will still be cheaper cause let say a dollar is 1k in naira now that 26k. And Mobil filling stations told me 40,500

Check the price of oil and shipping.
The shipping isn't affordable at all.

You'll hardly see anyone sell that oil above 35k in a competitive market.

Thanks brother, I think this is the best advice to solve this problem as youtube suggested the same. The car was jacked up and the inner CV joints were actually making noise. Guy, you have experience on car repairs and maintenance.

Price for Mobil 1 5W30 advanced full synthetic on jumia is 20,000, why at Mobil filling stations they told me 40,500. I’m afraid I don’t want to ruin my car engine.

I just bought rx300 4WD Nigerian used.
The car was working fine until I changed the front hub. After which, when I put it on reverse, the passenger front tyre will be dragging to move as if it hook. The mechanic changed the hub t the old one and same thing persist. And this makes the reverse to be dragging. But the drive mode works perfectly well.
And I also have "check engine light on the dashboard

My DC 2007 leaks transmission fluid when I'm driving . Mechanic says it is leaking at the top of the transmission just under the battery, that he will use 1000 naira gum to stop the leakage. Please I need advice as I don't know if ordinary 1000 naira gum can solve this problem. Does anyone have similar experience or know about how this leakage be permanently solved or will the gum work as suggested by my mechanic. It only leaks out when engine is hot, when parked to cool, the fluid doesn't leak out

If you confirmed that it's leaking from top of the transmission, let him use the glue to patch it, if not better search for where the leak is from oo

I saw a seller online, he's selling a car for an elderly woman well into her sixties, this man said the car is very clean engine and all, he sent me pics and videos and indeded it is still very neat. But he listed two issues currently plaguing the car,
One was that the car goes into limp mode under traffic light sometimes, and other times it doesn't.
Secondly he said the AC isn't cooling but just blowing.

By limp mode I mean, the car will fail to accelerate once it stops under maybe traffic light or when you decide to slow down to pick up someone or something. He said he normally restarts the car immediately and the problem is instantly resolved, until he decides to slow down to pick something or at the next traffic light.

He said the first problem can be fixed by getting a new set of coil while the second problem he doesn't know if it is fixable, because he's only reselling and has never bothered to check for the AC.

Guys the car looks very clean, but these issues (I'm a car novice), is it something related to the engine? Should I even bother telling him to drive it down to my office on Monday or just let it go?
