Haha, we can say the devil's handwork, but nah, it's truly my own fault, or maybe not entirely because I've used some other phones to take pictures underwater, pools swimming to do videos n all, without it damaging.. It's xiaomi company fault for making a fake waterproof rating.. When I buy devices, I actually like to test everything it claims out. That's part of the reason for even buying it in the first place.

How economic is its maintenance for normal office use + weekend hangouts on the island. Nothing serious just from home to office then maybe beach or a mall on weekends.

How likely is it to develop faults from normal driving (no major accidents)?
What are the most likely problems that will arise?
What are the most common price range of these parts (if it will be replaced) etc??

I took my car to oyo,on the way it over heated and the cylinder got condemned.
They say I go buy new cylinder and ring. I did that.
The car come start but the work no complete.
They say na coil.
We buy coil.
After changing the coils it didn't get better. We come discover say the thing don mix oil and water. Na then the meco dey tell me say the block has broken when he open the engine, so he use something to gum it so I can manage it,say na the same place wey the water dey pass enter be that. Say na to buy new block.
I've already spent 140k like this.
Now there's an engine wey dey say he knock (corolla) say make I buy the block put am for cheaper. Do you guys think it can work? And my concern is that even if it works for the rola engine to knock shey he no go spoil the block? That in the long run he go come still dey short oil. Please I need Input. This is not the time to troll me abeg I'm really going through alot

Thanks Manuella4ace, that's exactly why I had to bring the issue here. I haven't had any other mech as much as examine this vehicle and if I am bringing it to Lagos then I want to be sure the person comes highly recommended and knows exactly what to do.

Brake and quench is most often linked with MAF and throttle body along with air filter. Scan first and post codes , then Clean throttle body with carb cleaner, change air filter and do a relearn if possible and test drive
