I think the thread should be closed. Sorry surveycash and others but that's my opinion.

I will suggest if there's a very good web developer/programmer among us, who can get us a site with forum done, we get a private forum basically for those who are interested consisting of threads on products, marketing....e.t.c. The forum won't be open to all, and will be on a(annual) subscription basis(prob $100). It will be run by selected ogas and the money, am sure will have a need to meet(meeting, transportation, marketing....). The first subscrip(now till january) shld be free for those interested from the mother thread DIYIG only and charges for subsequent ones. We'll keep running the thread(do it urself importa guide) here on nairaland as it has always bn.....and mayb refer people who want to join d JV or whatever is, to the private forum. Now i don't think paying subscription(membership fee) of $100 annually will be too much for someone who wanna go big in this. This of course is just my opinion. It will help keep things in check and attract serious pple.

Guys, it's a full house today. I think we should slow down on the joint stuff. To work it out, interested partners should be in the same location so that they can arrange for offline meetings to discuss modalities and formulate legal backings for the JV. We are talking about money here. At the meeting, the executives will be formed. Who will be the importer or the marketer?

As we are thinking of forming the JV, we should also try consider this.

Went to make enquiry about the uba africacard and the guy(uba staff) was asking why i need it. Told him for online transaction......asked me what kind of online transaction.....told him am into internet biz....domainin, fx,......the idiot said thats not convincing enough. Was pissed and guess he noticed and later told me africard can't be used for online transaction.

vincentont: u cant use zenith visa card.go get zenith naira master card.thats the card zenith are giving out now,go and apply for it.remeber to ask for a access code pin wen collecting your card is abt 7 to 8 digits can't remeber nw coz i activated mine last yr.this is difrent from the atm card 4 digit pin.coz thats what u will use in activating your card online. folow the instructions that comes wit ur new atm card. .i use the naira master card online.

It's somehow difficult to get an africard here. I have zenith visa card, can i use it on bom as well?
