mtis:Taiwan, Malaysia, and many other fast developing countries had also seek disintegration because they lack good quality education? I see.. This your mentality speaks of the high quality of education in Kenya, tozo! |
mtis:They simply hate him because he wasn't Hausa/fulani or Muslim, not that he didn't do anything, Nigerian politics is very complex and complicated, only great minds can decipher the truth and reality and speak objectively without no tribal affiliation, so don't buy everything you are told. |
ednited:Am trying hard to find that sector of the country that was down in Jonathan's era that is doing well now, I can't remember any, am being objective, don't mind those who speak with emotions or tribal affiliation. As a South African has rightly said here, the best way to measure the progress of a country is the economy, now compare our economy when Jonathan was the President and now, be the judge yourself. when the economy is stable, it gives room for other development, inflation is the order of the day, fuel prices have gone high, everything is now costly, under Jonathan, the exchange rate per a dollar was #170 and we were throwing tantrums, check the exchange rate now and know if am telling the truth or not. His policies have made some foreign companies shutdown, rendering thousands of people jobless and adding to the already saturated unemployed people, this same man took us to recession during his military regime in 1984, now he is back after some decades and we are hearing of same, is it a coincidence? deal with that. Fulani heardsmen attack is a menace, the last fight in Ile-ife, Yoruba land, only Yoruba people were arrested including their King, no Fulani was arrested, same with other areas where they have maimed and killed many. However, i give him some credit in his fight for corruption which he is neither doing in a civilized way, and his enemies are the major targets, also Boko Haram attacks have reduced, even this can be debated cos some say he has a hand in the origin, as for the Chibok girls release, only gullible minds would fall for that mirage, they are just good with making noise and propaganda with nothing to show for it, don't be surprise some people you see here on NL are paid propagandists... His vice is an educated and wise man, one of the reasons Nigeria is still standing as a country. Right now my own people are even clamouring for independence. |
ednited:Don't ever put Jonathan and Buhari in one sentence again, there is no comparison! Buhari is an abyssal failure! He is a tribal bigot, also lacks what it takes to govern a 21st century country, his 97 and 5% statement during his early days in office is one reason you see ethnic divisions/haterd and bashing even here on NL. His useless policies and appointments has brought the country to a halt, while Jonathan appointed technocrats in various fields to run the country, Buhari who it took almost 7 months to appoint his ministers did so with much sentiments and along ethic/tribal lines, Jonathan wasn't a tribalist, Buhari is... check most of his appointments and you would see the definition of tribalism aside what he says, most are from one section of the country. Jonathan was a great leader, naturally, he is a good man, he embarked on huge infrastructural development, built 12 new federal universities to make sure each state has one, (this helped to reduce tension in the country thus emphasizing that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander), he revived our trains which stopped working about 30 years ago hitherto, built 130 almajiri schools for the northerners who so hated him, gave subsidies to farmers as to increase yield, made favourable policies and provided a good environment for local and foreign investors, all his major appointments were held by technocrats who were intellectuals in the field not minding the region they came from, this in contrast to Buhari who made appointments along religious, tribal, party and ethic lines, there was meritocracy rather than the mediocre we have now, our current minister for power is a Lawyer, minister for Petroleum same, now tell me the correlation. Even sensitive positions that ought to be handled by intellectuals like the ICT, Agriculture, Education etc are held by old dummies who don't know shii. I can go on and on, a liberal democrat who despite the critics, he didn't hurt a fly, sponsored many Nigerians scholarship abroad, have you heard of the Abuja centenary city? have you heard of the world's Trade Centre in Abuja? these and many more infrastructural developments are his brainchild, that is the kind of man I would like to call my leader, an educated and experienced man who has seen life from both ends, his shortcomings was the media, he didn't make good use of it, he felt since he was doing well for all to see, he would still be voted, but you know how gullible some people are, easily brainwashed, mostly the core northerners, Buhari came to power with no plans to solve the problems he pointed out with is "Change and fight corruption mantra"... now many are crying and wishing Jonathan would come back. He would award projects without proper scruntization of the cost which led to embezzlement, that was his major short fall, he lacked that bit of dictator spirit which every African leader ought to have, so anybody you hear insult Jonathan or said he did nothing, just know that person is a tribalist or just choose to be blind. |

Inferno17:Hahahaha you hit the nail on the head, he simply comments different and is plain unpredictable, I can't agree more...how I wish he invested the creativity into something useful. |
CocoMilian:okay... Wharever
|
CocoMilian:The thread was getting peaceful until you came in, that's my anger with you. Nevertheless, am not known for talking much unless occasion calls for it, I hold no grudge whatsoever, I hope you doing good? |
CocoMilian:I never meant to get someone emotional here I'm really feeling guilty, gurl if there is one thing I don't do, it's a$$ licking, am a cool dude after all and don't give a damn fuk bout what anybody thinks, much more someone in far away East Africa, I needn't write a book to pass my message, stay cool. |
It is quite regrettable how these elites turn people against themselves while they live in peace and affluence, everyone has a story to tell, but the question has remained if we can ever cohabit in peace again as a country. The North is usually tensed up in comparison to other regions during the election period, What is it with these people and power? |
Jay254:Why then do many of you find it a hard pill to swallow that we have light skinned people? Nigerians aren't that dark when compared to other Africans, it neither also means we don't have dark people. |
CocoMilian:Firstly, I don't see the need of being aggressive with you cos you can't stand the heat of my aggression . We are just known for feeding people on their own plate, you simply get what you seek, shikina! You seem to have a bad mentality about us, it can be seen from your comments here filled with hate, funny thing is that many here neither know nor care about your existence, I don't know how and why you are obsessed about how we behave and the rest, I'm patiently waiting for the day I would get wowed by anything Kenyan, because even Souti Sol your only artist I know doesn't seem appealing to me, but you guys more or less worship our artists.. |
Jay254:This very research has been debunked here several times, they didn't conduct the research from the whole country, rather one or two places, it's just like saying since Nairobi has millions of people living in slums, then the whole Kenya is a slum, it doesn't add up nor make any sense.. Many of you think all girls here bleach cos they are light skinned, which aren't true, there are many beautiful light skinned girls, I don't know the case with Kenya and Kenyans, are you guys that dark that you get bemused about the light skinned girls stuff? Funniest thing is that you can't even differentiate from chocolate, fair and dark skinned... |
CocoMilian:You want us to start the exposition stuff Ahbi? Don't cry foul or start whining like a baby horse when I start mine, nobody held you from posting your own pictures....you were preaching peace to me buh everywhere was somewhat calm before you came in with your hate...hypocrites. |
Nowenuse:400 million? dafuk.! Why don't these people borrow a leaf from their fellow Muslim counterparts in Places like Dubai and other developing Islam nations? they are extremists more than those who even brought the religion to them... Education! Education! what this people really need, those who grew up in the South don't have this wack mindset, my major problem with them is that they are drawing other progressing regions back! Only stupidity would make someone to waste his life with a bomb, their elites wouldn't go unpunished for this wicked acts.. |
Nowenuse:In as much as I agree with your points, I would advice you tone down your use of words and mode of approach, let's not turn here to the average bashing threads on NL... Let's just say he is different from the rest, religion is the major tool which their elites use in blindfolding them, imagine using money for capital developments for building mosques, reason they hate Sanisu the Emir of Kano for continuously telling them the truth. |
It's been a while here. The issue of Biafra is not something anybody can just start talking about without proper information and analysis of the cause of the struggle, nor the situation on ground. I'm Igbo by the way, but I choose to be neutral and indifferent on the whole thing cos of my own reasons.... |
NairobiWalker:But reality proves you wrong KiberaWalker... Am not bothered so far it's coming from some low lives in far away East Africa who haven't met me in person ![]() |
Jay254:My empty brain is 100% better than your filled brain ![]() ... Deal with that massai boy ![]() |
Jay254:You or everyone? I bet you can't stand side by side with me both in academics, intelligence or otherwise, I kid you not, you can see it as bragging buh ion care... so quit making useless claims boy, forget I brought myself too low to converse with you ![]() |
Lionessza:oh cool... lemme believe you are more pretty ![]() |
Jayceon:Why do you sound so pained? chill bro, I can't handle your frustration at the moment, you wouldn't like it if we go the hard way ... don't awake the sleeping lion ![]() |
leathalbeast:I answered your question objectively Charlie ![]() |
fanficgirl:I was surprised that was her natural hair and commended her beauty, anything wrong with that? You are very pretty too, with nice lips and a romantic eyes . hope I've balanced the equation? ![]() ![]() |
NairobiWalker:You know exactly what she meant but instead you choose to divert, posting an image of a brick house to justify your argument, why you guys like this? in Ibadan and Abeokuta those areas with old houses have clean water, good roads, electricity, toilets which a typical slum doesn't have, be objective for once...aside Makoko, there are no slums here, what you may find are ghettos and low income areas |
adamskutty:Jesus! ![]() ![]() No chill |
Jayceon:The guy visited only Nairobi and nearby areas in Kenya, so it was wrong for him to come to such conclusion, you don't judge a whole country with one city, besides I've noticed your hatred for Nigeria, did a Nigerian steal your babe? nigga take some chill pills abeg |
fanficgirl:How do you mean? |
PissedYagami:That was hyperbolic and an exaggeration, it's practically impossible and you know it, Again buying things online is also a trend here unlike in Kenya |
leathalbeast:Ghana ![]() |
Lionessza:Just alive and kicking, is that you on your profile? |
