This is Nigeria. Nothing would happen to him. But that boy needs to be hit with the iron fist of the law. |
Samakus:Definitely UNN |
I got my first client from Nairaland. Since then, I don't underestimate the opportunities available herein. |

Playing to the gallery. Nobody associated with Obiano would smell our government house in Awka again. |
Raydos:Can you listen to yourself? Like for real comparing UAE to Nigeria? Nobody is promoting mediocrity, but let's be fair and smart in our comparisons. Nairobi has existed for long and because of it's prospects in tourism plus being the political and economic capital of the country, it is expected to be developed to an extent, but still lagging behind. Abuja did not develop organically like most African cities. It was built from the scratch and can match Nairobi anyday and anytime. The only thing is just that Abuja is only a political capital. We also have Lagos which is the Economic and Social capital of Nigeria. And may I reiterate that Nairobi is surrounded by the largest slum in the world - Kibera. |
I've tried severally not to insult him. But at this stage, I can not but agree with you. Man is useless. Little wonder people were praying for him to test positive for the virus. We won't miss his absence for the sole reason that his presence was never felt. |
Raydos:What you should know is that Abuja is still an emerging city. It is barely 3 decades old. It is still the most planned city in Africa from the scratch. And it is actually doing very well. Nairobi? Surrounded with slums? I would pass. |
A times I wonder if I live in same world with people here. With the way they take irrelevancies serious I wonder if they actually have responsibilities or they just wake up and sleep on NL |
sageb:In UNN, there is a course called 'Combined Social Sciences', just like Combined Arts. You would combine two courses I.e Eco/Pol, Pol/Soc, Pol/Phil, Pych/Soc etc. The first is actually your major and that is where you write your final year project. The second is your minor. In my case, Political science is my major. Hope you are cleared? |
Studied Political science and Geography. Now a professional freelance writer I also own a writing company where we offer a wide range of writing services...

This used to be an intelligent question some 10 to 15 years ago which calls for an open discourse. But today, asking such makes you look insane. Times have changed bro. Ever heard of Self-education? The said billionaire can get one without even attending any conventional institution. That someone attended a University or acquired some degree doesn't make him any better if he can't transform the things he was thought to wealth. |
That's a great one Op. In life, every step requires patience and perseverance. Your story would change someday, don't just sit idle. Meanwhile are you from Bekwara? See our signature for quality services |
Unless for the purpose of tourism. If not, forget that country |
Adjoyvi9:what's special? It's obviously not from an advanced primary school. ![]() |
Whether fake or not, our own University of Nigeria is ably represented on the third spot. See our signature.. |
So if I bring my degree now, someone from this university would bring his too to rub shoulders with me? Nawa oo..advanced primary school. Contact us for your quality services..see signature |
It all depends on your course. Are you into Engineering or anything IT related? If yes, go forward with your HND. We have written CV's for a lot of these people who became successful. Some companies specifically state they need HND graduates because of their technical experience. But on the contrary, if it is any other course or field, we would advice you go for direct entry. This is the best advise you can get from someone experienced in the job-hunt process. Meanwhile see our signature for quality services.. |
We all passed through the Holocaust. We were beaten, starved, murdered in cold blood, and given a meagre 20 pounds irrespective of what we had to start all over. Our houses in different parts of the country were forcefully taken away from us and called "abandoned properties". Our cities were brought to ruins. Our Universities and institutions were shutdown. We started from the scratch and see where we are. We have forgiven our adversaries and moved on, but we will never forget!. Rest in peace fallen heroes. See our signature for quality services.. |
What you wrote up there is simply your own experience. There are people in same UK who probably have bitter experiences. Besides, you used the UK which has a large black community and a relatively good economy as your case study. What about other countries in Europe that are renowned for racism coupled with their struggling economy? The most important point you made is simply that of sanity. The kind of stressful lifestyle we live here in Nigeria is why our life expectancy keeps fluctuating between 40-49 years. In all, it is not easy anywhere. We also have people living large in same Nigeria. So Whether abroad or Nigeria, I have made the personal decision to give my kids a better life. You too should do same. No life was lost and that is the most important thing. See our signature for quality services.. |
The fight against child abuse is what every sane and right thinking person should be part of. But Mrs Sanwo-Olu, I hope this wouldn't end in protests. Your husband weilds executive powers, you should collaborate with him and the relevant government parastatal to take disisive decisions against this impending menace. Meanwhile see our signature.. |
For us at Incredible writers, the question of restructuring depends on the angle one ones to speak from. Restructuring could mean a reorganization of structure. But I think a confederal system would be best where the different regions can have the right to secede anytime they want. See our signature.. |
That's the way to go. Other states should follow suit.. See our signature for quality services! |
Kennedyiheme02:You the one missing the point. There's pride in marrying someone who attained a certain strata of the society. Davido might not be using the degree for anything, but he would most likely go for someone who's educated, someone he can flaunt and be proud of to complement his social status. I hope you understand better now? Meanwhile see our signature |

Chioma was already a student at one of the private universities before she hooked up with Davido. That aside, can you compare the social status of the people you mentioned to the average hawker on the street? Most men nowadays want to marry people who are exposed to the realities of life and can fend for themselves. While I was in the university, you see men come in with rides to scout for ladies to date which may lead to marriage. But the case of the average uneducated girl on the street, it's just through an incidence of luck. The probability is higher in the former than the latter. That is our point. We are simply speaking in relative terms. Most ladies see education as a means of adding value and dignity. |
A 'hardworking man' in it's didactic sense, is someone who is putting in efforts to succeed and not leaving everything to fate like their lazy counterparts do. But my brother, when Nigerian ladies use that phrase, it's simply means someone who is well to do. So my brother, go and hust.. For quality services, see our signature! |
Education is simply a measure of value for the female. They have better chances of meeting 'quality' suitors compared to the average Rukiyat who sells steamed fish across the street. I see nothing wrong with that, as I myself always envisiage marrying a lady pharmacist. Meanwhile see our signature |

Remember it took the UAE government less than that 3 decades to build Dubai??
