I can be wrong if I say you can be fast like a meteor in writing with this working technique but you can be fast. |
Those who speak standard English, therefore, are called intelligent, but those who use big English words (vocabularies) are excellent. |
You're boring. You aren't trending. My guys will say you're local. Most will say you're illiterate even if they know you're a graduate. Your words never entice or illuminate someone to feel you're excellent. Your words are far less than silence. Haven't yet known how to change? |
When it comes to casual conversation, nobody pays attention to you. Nobody regards you as intelligent. |
Assuming he said "Please Sir, can I use
your pen?" I wouldn't have known when I
said "Yes." |

While unprecedented means unusual or abnormal, existential means personal or subjective. It's easier to understand these two high-class words but to be able to use them effectively you want to practise, practise and practise. |
everyone wants to listen to an
intelligent speaker or genus. |
One day a student wanted to write French
test but he didn't have a pen and there
was my pen on a desk in front of him. He
said, "Sir, let me use your pen." I didn't
know when I said "No" because of anger. |

The use of "while" in the beginning of a sentence, eg: While Ada spoils the flour, her mum goes to church. |
As a teacher of English and French, It surprises me that most people define intelligence as ability to speak standard English. |
agree with Joyce Rachelle, a British writer (who authors a novel The Language of Angels), who said: "The best sentences are not those that are built from obscure words, but those whose meanings create ripples in our imagination that go beyond the words they contain." |
Violence never settles anything right: apart from injuring your own soul, it injures the best cause. It lingers on long after the object of hate has disappeared from the scene to plague the lives of those who have employed it against their foes. Obafemi Awolowo |
Use these two elite-class vocabularies in your talk and see what will happen marenx the Writer When it comes to casual conversation, nobody pays attention to you. Nobody regards you as intelligent. Then you know.... Your words never entice or illuminate. You need to change. As a teacher of English and French, it surprises me most people define intelligence as ability to speak standard English. Those who speak standard English are intelligent. Those who use big English words (vocabularies) in their speech are more intelligent. Everyone wants to listen to a more intelligent speaker. The most important thing to note is we can't change this notion in people or we can't convince people that this isn't really what intelligence means, and if we want people to regard us as something, as the saying goes, we must do or offer them what they need. Use these two elite-class vocabularies when speaking to people: Unprecedented and Existential Unprecedented means unusual or abnormal. Existential means personal or subjective. You can understand the two words butyou need to feature them in your sentence. 6 Examples of Unprecedented and Existential in a Sentence 1. We're in an unprecedented situation, so what can we do? 2.This is an existential issue--I'm going to sleep over it myself. 3. The manner in which he spoke to his wife is unprecedented. 4. I have a right to say you work here for your existential interest. 5. The president behavior is unprecedented. 6. When it comes to existential matters, kindly talk to our chaplain. Joyce Rachelle, a British writer (who authors a novel The Language of Angels, said: "The best sentences are not those that are built from obscure words, but those whose meanings create ripples in our imagination that go beyond the words they contain." While the use of topic sentence can help you transit your readers from one paragraph to another, the use of parallelism can help you transit your reader from one sentence or item to another. Parallelism in this case means repetition of sentence format to construct an effective paragraph.--marenx

Always ask yourself this question everyday before going to sleep: How many people did I help today? |
"I'm a teacher of English and French and I was posted to teach French in government secondary school. I was given JSS Two for a start and the total number of students was 40. Most JSS Two students are supposed to be between 12 and 11 years old, but here the case is different: they were between 16 and 15." marenx the Writer |

Two pro steps to follow to write better and faster without having much to edit marenx the Writer Want to write better? And faster too? Listen... I'm a full-time supporter of "planning before writing." Which is like wearing trousers before wearing shoes. If you have much time for yourself to edit unstructured and wayward draft, you don't have much troubles in writing industry. I don't earn a dime writing because I give my good time to my primary and secondary sources of income. And the remaining time is left-over. I have time to write but it isn't enough. There's time to edit but there's no first draft. I have to write better but writing better without planning is time consuming. I have to come up with smart strategies and that's where these "two working steps to write better and faster without having much to edit" comes in. If I say you can write well fast like a meteor, I'm wrong but if I say you can be fast if you're dedicated, I'm right. The following section, however, explains the strategies in details. The two writing working steps (and I always follow them with passion) are: Step 1: Have writing resources. Mastering writing isn't accidental and writing resources mean samples, sentence format and transition strategy. A sample means an example of what you want to write (copy writing, essay, article like this one, a short story, etc). And a sentence format and transition strategies are what you collect from what you read. Two sentence formats I use in this writing are: 1. The use of "yet" or "but" or in the middle of the sentence, eg: Ada doesn't understand what her mum said, but she nods. In room 32 an ear-piercing screech continues, yet none of us complains. 2. The use of "while" in the beginning of a sentence, eg: While Ada spoils the flour, her mum goes to church. The truth is effective sentence formats aren't hard to get if you're a reader (every writer must be a reader) but a transition strategy is something you continue learning till death. Consider it as aging--something that never stops. Transition strategies are two: the use of transition words such as first, however, moreover, while, etc and the use of logic determined by sentences, eg: topic sentence and parallelism. The use of topic sentence helps you transit your readers from one paragraph to another while the use of parallelism helps you transit your reader from one sentence or item to another. Parallelism means repetition of sentence format to construct an effective paragraph. A good example of parallelism is: Omaha speaks to his mother. He speaks to his father. He cries again and again. He regrets why he didn't save his money in the bank. It sounds interesting because I use the same sentence format (subject-verb). Step 2: Build your writing on introduction. Building on introduction means beginning your writing process with introduction using transition strategies. Writing with this technique that presents prose as luscious dish served in a hunger season is fun. An "easy to learn" example is: I'm a teacher of languages and you know. Writing about speaking better isn't accidental here. One of the main aims is to communicate respectfully and effectively. How? You see "How" is just a question, yet it helps a reader smoothly transits to the next paragraph. You may be tempted to scribe fluff when a faucet of words is turned on in your head. Resist the temptation and follow transition or else break this rule and start again. It's bafling to slip through a tiny crack again. Stephen Edwin King, popularly known as Stephen King, an American author of horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, crime, science-fiction, and fantasy novels, said: “If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.” Thanks for reading. Have a nice time. |

MrBrownJay1:Say Thou shall not be greedy. For most women follow men for money, not actually for love. Whether he has money or a car or whatsoever, check his attitude first. Check whether he has hot temper. Money shouldn't be the first thing to see in a man. |

I love this thread. "Chameleons are amazing. They have millions of microscopic salt crystals under their skin known as the photonic crystals. They have a leg up on natural hues as they can play with more than one hue. The crystals scatter the light in many ways depending on their arrangements, size, and chemistry. Scientists are spending their days working in the field of photonic crystals for a long time now to create color-changing smart skins for a range of potential applications such as camouflage." |
