Let me just add my two cent. In this quest to collect this visa you have to be well calculated and not be strong headed. Look the embassy people are smart and thats why they change their rules frequently. They recently changed the accommodation rule because according to my embassy plug “a nigerian oh that helped my get my appointment“ he said a lot of people are bringing fake 1month hostel contract or airbnb like contract and getting visa so it was an issue with immigration in poland and thats why they changed it to at least a year. Secondly why they stopped collecting bank statements was because money was being deposited into sponsors accounts simply cos of they were applying for visa and a lot of people were getting thru that..so it casted. So you need to understand that in this case regardless of the fact that when you did it with credit card of 2m in your time it worked, that doesn’t mean it has not changed again. These guys get applications everyday and issue visas every day and they might have seen another trend and that might warrant changes. It could be that they have seen a lot of people going for bsc with self sponsorship with credit card limit of maybe 10million in this case and they are wondering why a young bsc aspirant has such money to self sponsor. So they know that most times its just a way to get the visa and the money removed after. So you that got your visa last month using this method good for you... but things change and these guys update their rules regularly.

Exactly.
That's what I was saying but the person that replied kinda misunderstood me.
The guy is being Sponsored, fees and living expenses is not more 3M a year. Now, why would a Sponsor put 10M into that account? To me, I feel they will suspect it. These guys work psychologically.

I think someone has already told the guy to present the sponsor's payslip. I think that will solve the issue.

To book for legalization, you will see in the e konsulat page, something called Legal matters. Click on it and follow instructions.

Thank you

I did book mine on the 7th of January, which is this month. The next booking date is March 26th. About the legalization, someone told me to go with a birth certificate? how true is that.

Pls, is it the number for visa appointment booking the same with legalisation appointment number?

Being sponsored

Is it realistic for a Sponsor to put 10M into an account when you fees is €1900 and your living cost for a year is less than 1M?
I'm just thinking they might doubt the genuity(I.e the possibility of its availability after granting of Visa).

What the MoE & MoFA in Abuja does is called 'Authentication'; which is to prove that your documents are genuine. So it's important to authenticate your documents.

But the Legalization we're talking about here done at the Polish Embassy; Most Polish schools requires this as well. This Legalisation makes documents suitable for use in another country(Poland). So pay attention when going through the University admission requirements.

Okay... Thank you very much.

It's now take 4 weeks to legalize documents now. Also you can't legalize anymore during your VISA Application. You will have to book a separate date for Legalization.

Kindly clear my confusion concerning this legalisation of documents. So, I have to legalize it at MOE, authenticate it at MOF in Abuja, and then, take it to embassy for another legalisation?

I read that MOE and MOF must done in Abuja. Is this still so pls?

No, it's not necessary to pay for the whole year.

So get an accommodation reservation of a year with one month down payment. I know someone who had to get a year reservation but paid for 6 months. He has his visa as I speak. So you can go ahead with a month down payment

You guys are really helpful here. Thanks alot.

If the school has issued you a Letter of Accommodation Reservation, then that should be enough as a lot of people have gotten visa with the reservation letter that I know.

The ones who got rejected were those whose schools didn't have hostels or dormitory but they got a reservation for a private housing contract without payment. Which they later have to pay before they appealed and got their VISA

Thank you

PimpinPips:

It actually now says accommodation reservation that covers entire period of visa validity, or something like that. In my mind, I already concluded I must make arrangements for accomodation covering the entire period I intend on studying in Poland.
Your school should be able to lend a hand in this regard.

Thanks for your response. Hopefully, I can get another input from someone that got visa recently. I trying to work on my budget, (i.e if I will be required to pay for one year or one month domitory fee from here).

Pls, are we required to pay for one year dormitory fee while applying for visa or a year contact with one month down payment?

MOF means Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while MOE is Minstry of Education
