For me personally, I think some matters do not require dogon turenci, no long yarning. Sometimes, it's okay to take the laws in ones hand, albeit with moderation. If I were in your shoes, I'll pick that teacher out, whether on the school premises or else where and mess him/her up. on the opobo case, I read somewhere that there was an influx of Igbos into the area. the indigenes and chiefs didn't want the Igbos to learn their own language so they resorted to learning the Igbo language so as to keep their own language away from the Igbos. I don't how credible that account is.

Why can't we manage our resources by ourselves? Colonization never really ended. it only changed form. For example, in Nigeria, it started with the exploitation by the Royal Niger Company, then go to a crescendo with the coming of the British government and the. went back to the status quo of having companies like shell Bp, Chevron etc. represent the imperial interests.
