One would think Bayelsa would lead in everything that matters- school enrollment, affordable health care, social welfare for the vulnerable poor, modern infrastructure, qualitative education for Bayelsans. In my own opinion, why would u think of telling yur family abt her past? Her past is between u and her, which she confided in total trust. U know how Nigerians are, one of yur family memebers will definitely use that truth abt her bn divorced 2 scorn her someday, and trust me, u will definitely be in d miDdle.
Both man and woman, will leave their families and live as one. Your family will not live with you. Family intereference in one's life stops as soon as one is married.
U owe them , no explanation that she's divorced , pls accept her. Be a strong man. Face the consequences of the steps, u r about 2 take. If your family finds out later, and one of them ask you. Place a bold , calm firm face on yur luk and tell them yes u knw , and luk them straight in d eyes, that yes she's divorced, and that's in her past. @Markone.I dont have issues with my MIL staying with me.She is a nice person and we have a cordial relationship but am only feeling for my [b]FIL,who has been home alone for over two years,[/b]doing the house chores and cooking all by himself despite his old age,though i make soups and send to him every weekend.I have spoken to my hubby severally on this and what he told me was maybe we get a maid for him while my MIL stays with us,which i dont see it as a right thing to do.I just wanted to be sure am not d one getting it all wrong.

As much as i appriacete ur comment,i will like to say am not a kid and i can take decisions on my own . Sometimes when u are educated on an issue especially from the govt to d public ,u wont understand much until it gets to u for real and i guess that is my situation now . If by ds morning i face both my mother and mother inlaw to tell them NO with facts and figures Like d ones i ve read here ,do u think they would see me as a kid or one who could not decide ? Meanwhile i was here to do some underground work to boost my confidence . Anyway , thanks for your contribution , i am not ungrateful .
