Ktwice: A school proprietress, Dr. Maggie Ibru,
stated that what the Federal
Government could have done was to
provide hand sanitisers in all private
and public schools in the country.
She said it was in the capability of the
Federal Government to provide hand
sanitisers and increase the level of
sanitisation in all schools in the
country.
Jesus christ. The way some people reason really baffles me. How can a whole Dr. think that the best way to control or prevent Ebola in our schools most especially nursery and primary schools is by providing hand sanitisers for our little children?!

Some of these so called private schools, are not even able to control and contain common Cold and catarrh with cough. Some don't even have infirmary. Will they stop children from playing or asking for "chin gum" and "puff puff" roger from each other grin

With the way people are evading and sneaking out from quarantine centres, schools should be shut down indefinitely till this thing is properly contained.

Politics › Re: My Bitter Experience With Lagos Police by MARKone(m): 9:32pm On Aug 28, 2014
candy: This is really sad. Corruption has eaten deep into the hearts and souls of public office holders in naija, no single parastatal is left out. It's not just a police thingy; the society shaped them in this form.
If we successfully vote out GEJ come 2015, we will most likely vote in an even more corrupt person. We are inherently a corrupt specie. We need a purge!
Police are the WORST, and that is why, you get nothing good out of them, nothing! they are cursed, useless, hopeless, dirty, drunks, vile creatures of the earth and extremely wicked, go to their barracks and see how they live. They intimidate you at gunpoint(armed robbery) steal from you, and they think they will enjoy another man's sweat, without repercussions, while another family, gnashes their teeth in sorrows, tears and blood. They spirits of those they've killed because of #20 and #50, APO SIX et all will always continue to hunt them. That Boko haram is the monster they are today is because of NPF. Nonsense!!

GEJ is not the problem of NPF, they have been so corrupt before he came to power, and they will remain so when he leaves.

Pls help pls pls pls pls cry
2 chains grin good that you've effectively eliminated the battery.

Does it make any beep sound when you on, and since there is no activity light when you on, we can eliminate screen problems, and focus on the RAM for starters. If you can locate the memory compartment, open it, remove the memory stick carefully and rub the contact end of the RAM stick on your cloth or any metallic surface and put it back. On it again and report back.

Most Anti viruses are good, depends on how you look at it. The effectiveness of an AV or Internet Security lies on the regular updates of its Virus Definitions, which depends solely on the availability of Internet. You can turn off the Auto Update of your Norton AV, and be downloading off line DAT files, monthly to run your updates.

Melahou: that because she doesn't trust you one bit.
am sure she must have caught you in the act b4.
all you need to do is to reassure her of your trust
by minimaxin the number of women/girls that calls you and act more
like a "married man" and not like a player.
A beg put a stop to it. This trend of taging men as unfaithful randy creatures, when issues of trust is being deliberated upon, is quite distasteful. Women are generally known to be insecure when it comes to relationships, and tend to over react and go for the kill when the feel or suspect that their hubby have strayed. Some women are just so mentally and psychologically wired not to trust their man, maybe past relationships holds a high contributory factor to that. No matter how hard you try to prove to them that you are faithful, the tend to suspect you the more.

Mine once deleted all the female contacts on my phone, all. Just like OP's had equally called a female colleague once, with all sorts of unfounded allegation.

I know of a man who lost his job, because his wife came to his office to raise hell, as in she set the office on fire, and not just any office yet all the allegations she brought up were all false.

OP me I don't know u, so cannot vouche for you, but if you feel you have nothing to hide, ignore her, hopefully she'll get tired one day , but warn her seriously to stop embarrassing you, coming to your office to act 007 is uncalled for.

In my own case, I was firm, very firm, I don't handle embarrassment well.

Mariopgomery: If the nigerian army are as spineless as most of u say, dont u think boko haram would have overrun the country by now?
Nobody is saying that they are spin less. The problem is that the whole system is corrupt. The soldiers' moral are in its lowest ebb, motivation appears to be an illusion. In contrast, these are the same soldiers that performed gallantly in UN peace missions, Liberia and Sierra Leone, so what is happening?

How can 480 Nigerian soldiers, do a "tactical withdrawal" 480 soldiers?! DHQ did not even counter nor deny the number of soldiers that did this so called tactical withdrawal.

Tactical withdrawal into Cameroon grin

duni04: Saw the video this morning. Towards the end, there were Nigerian soldiers on one hill running away from the boko haram fighters. Really scary video. At the rate these guys are fighting, won't be long till they reach Lagos. They're really good fighters. Then we'll all have to flee as refugees to benin or even ghana
They are not good fighters, disorganised teenagers clutching assault rifles, but highly motivated, which makes them very dangerous

Politics › Re: Video: SEE Nigerian Soldiers Running From Boko Haram by MARKone(m): 12:33pm On Aug 25, 2014
OP I hope you watched that clip. No sane soldier will try to "defend" considering that they were completely out numbered by these Boko boys, who came with more sophisticated weapons.

The country is not worth dying for, and these soldiers are fully aware of this.
